Zextra
Here is a 1 on 1 between myself and Matt Bahamut. The Requirements were: Make a set of cards which tell a story (including at least 1 vanilla)First to 4 votes will win this, and the prize is 1 rep and 50 PointsVotes must have a DETAILED explanation, and cannot be given for the following:- Card Picture- Card Name- Effect Length [spoiler=Zextra's Cards] The beginning of all the mayhem that is soon to come was created by the Apocalypse. However, the truth behind the cause of the Apocalypse was the doing of an enormous dragon, who, with its earth-shattering blast, came to create the dark lord of vengeance.[spoiler=The Dragon Who Started it All...] Lore:When this card destroys a monster by battle, place 1 Hyper Destruction Counter and 1 Creation Rebirth Counter on this card (max.3 for both). You can remove 3 Hyper Destruction Counters from this card to destroy a number of cards on the field equal to the number of DARK monsters in your Hand. For each card destroyed this way, place 1 Apocalypse Counter on this card (max.10). You can Tribute this face-up card with 10 Apocalypse Counters on it to destroy all cards on the field and inflict damage to both players equal to the total combined Levels of all monsters destroyed by this effect x200. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "New Being Token" for each Creation Rebirth Counter on it (Fiend-Type/LIGHT/Level 3/ATK 1000/DEF 0). While this card is in your Graveyard, you can remove it from play to Special Summon a DARK monster with 2000 or less ATK from your Graveyard to your side of the field in face-up Defense Position with its effect negated. Following the horrendous destruction from the dragon's mighty burst, a dark spirit was born. Though initially weak, it eventually consumed enough evil to take form into a true being of darkness.[spoiler=The Evil Lord Takes Form] Lore:This wicked lord of the undead was born from a mutation that occurred during the Apocalypse, caused by an ancient dragon of devastation. Though relatively weak alone, it feeds on the souls of the living to increase its strength. Its glowing blue wings increase with the number of souls it devours. As a result, the larger the wings get, the stronger its power. Once its wings become large enough to envelop its body, it releases the stored power into the atmosphere, destroying all its surroundings and allowing it to evolve into its final form, a demonic being of absolute evil. However, Hades never gave up his ambition: to evolve into a further being of evil. As a result, he created his "pets", which helped him absorb most of the power he needed to become complete.[spoiler=Hades' "Work Squad "] Lore:While you control a face-up "Annihalation Lord, Hades Trancedigaeth", you can Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. When this card is selected as an attack target while you control a face-up "Annihalation Lord, Hades Trancedigaeth", you can equip this card and a face-up "Annihalation Lord, Hades Trancedigaeth" you control to the attacking monster. Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 1800. The equipped monster cannot attack and cannot be Tributed. During your opponent's next Battle Phase, take control of the equipped monster and Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position and treat it as a Tuner. Through the energy consumed by his "pets" and his constant efforts to achieve more power by devouring the souls of living beings, Hades was able to reach his desired form. Proclaiming himself as King of the Underworld, this is the Hades we have come to know in Greek and Roman myths.[spoiler=Hades - The Infinite Utter Darkness] Lore:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play a "Annihalation Lord, Hades Trancedigaeth" in your Graveyard. When this card destroys a monster, you can place 1 Noctivigance Counter on a face-up monster your opponent controls (max. 1). A monster with a Noctivigance Counter on it must attack this card during each of your opponent's Battle Phases. When this card destroys a monster with a Noctivigance Counter on it, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon a monster from your Graveyard to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Attack Position. Place 1 Noctivigance Counter on each monster Special Summoned this way. [spoiler=Matt Bahamut's Cards][spoiler=Dato Bahaman, Guardian of the Seal] Lore: Thousands of years ago, this mighty warrior sealed the evil dragon, Tiamat, behind the door to another dimension. He has since guarded the Seal with his life, burdened by the knowledge that Tiamat must be kept locked in his prison at all costs. [spoiler=Breaking the Seal] Lore: You can only activate this card when 'Dato Bahaman, Guardian of the Seal' is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. Destroy all cards on your side of the field (except this card). Special Summon 'Tiamat, Cursed Dragon of the Seal' from your hand or Deck. [spoiler=Tiamat, Cursed Dragon of the Seal] Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of 'Breaking the Seal'. If this card would be destroyed by your opponent's card effect, it is not. You can activate this effect up to three times per duel. Each time you activate this effect, this card gains the following effect(s):-1: At the start of your Battle Phase, you can decrease this card's ATK by 500 until the end of the Battle Phase. Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. -2: At the start of your Battle Phase, you can decrease this card's ATK by 1000 until the end of the Battle Phase. Inflict 500 Direct Damage to your opponent’s Life Points. -3: At the start of your Battle Phase, you can decrease this card's ATK by 1500 until the end of the Battle Phase. Special Summon 1 'Cursed Dragon' Token (DARK, Dragon-type, Lv3, ATK 500, DEF 500) in Attack Position. This card cannot be the target of a card effect while you control a 'Cursed Dragon' Token. You can Tribute 3 'Cursed Dragon' Tokens to destroy all cards on the field and in each player’s hand, and inflict Damage to both players Life Points equal to the number of cards destroyed by this effect x 500. Thanks! :D
Hila Ⅰ
Im voting for....ZextraI think that although Zextra's effects are very very very very... long they are useful, as are matt's however there is a useabillity element in Zextra's which isn't in Matt's example: Matt's Normal Monster Level 7: ATK 2300 DEF 1900 So if i were to summon that a Level 4 monster with a weak equip card could destroy it were as Zextra's are more balanced for their level. In favour of Matt however there seems to be a different word for every single counter and there not easy. If I was playing one of those decks i wud lose count of the counters and names and it could be executed in another way to make play easier. But overall i choose zextra

FTW (For The Wynn)
Wow that's a lot of reading for cards. Anyway, I'm gonna go with Zextra on this one. The story is more interesting and the cards themselves seem a bit more useful/playable. I like both of them however, well done guys.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Thanks for setting up the thread while I was away, I enjoyed making these until I got to the last one, which was a nightmare. Didn't realise you'd be using a set that has been released in the RC section for a month. 2-0 more votes please (yes Zex the conditions are good). Mr Dr Professor Spaz
I like the storyline better on Zextra's cards and he walked us through the storyline. (BTW Matt, 2 of your cards have the same Picture)

(BTW Matt, 2 of your cards have the same Picture) Oh gee, really? You know, I hadn't noticed. <_< I decided I rather use the same pic twice than have two dragons that looked nothing alike. 3-

Bahamut - Envoy of the End
This section is dying in the gutter, as there are probably only 3 or 4 people who consistently vote on cards. And some of the occasional voters are, well... not that competant sometimes shall we say? Case in point: Hila Nuerfa's vote (not that I'm arguing with it because it wasn't the only reason given) ...as are matt's however there is a useabillity element in Zextra's which isn't in Matt's example: Matt's Normal Monster Level 7: ATK 2300 DEF 1900 So if i were to summon that a Level 4 monster with a weak equip card could destroy it were as Zextra's are more balanced for their level... This may have escaped your attention, or maybe you didn't read the cards properly, but that's what I WANT to happen. Anyway I'm not coming back from this deficit, was just holding out for avoiding a whitewash but it's not worth continually bumping for a final nail. Points and rep sent.
