It’s the year 125 of the Carmilia Era, and the current leader is Queen Viclicia IV, who leads the kingdom of Cyrahola, governed equally by the Nobles of Ten: Kiloa, Jualon, Aidles, Hislops, and Ekisla (Hialous family), Ujilpad (No last name), and the Nobles that have rumored to have a villainous side to their story; Adgajkil, Quertal, Kipfoul, Apodag (Ultipon family). Since the rule of Viclicia IV, and the Nobles of Ten, the technology of the Cyrahola became increasingly efficient and improved by thousands of years. However, some of the nobles and the queen are unsure of why, except that the Ultipon family is in charge of the energy and technology of Cyrahola.
But one of the Nobles found out about the energy supply, and saw that the Ultipon family was behind this satanic idea of using pure corpses of humans as energy to help power the kingdom, and that Noble was Ujilpad. It also turns out to be that he was selected to speak in front of the masses about the latest news about a battle that has been won. Alas, he spoke to the people about the news, and finally, he told everyone about the energy gain, the bodies, everything. The people grew worried, but they didn’t know if they should believe him. However, upon the last word given, he was assassinated in front of the very same people. Some thought slander, others thought revenge, the rest thought truth.
You, a commoner of the Cyrahola kingdom, have been selected by an unknown people who knew truth, along with Ujilpad, to see if this is true, and to show the people that this was no lie, and that it was pure truth and unjust actions towards the dead bodies of the deceased. No matter what profession you were, selected you have become, and avenge the death of Ujilpad. But, be prepared, the rumor has spread of this action, and not many are pleased. You may need to work together; you may need to go solo. Regardless of how it’s done, justice must be brought, and the Ultipon family must pay. But the choice is yours. Will you show the people the demonity of the Ultipon’s ways? Or will you side with them, and not reveal the secrets? Or will you stand aside, and let things take their course? Regardless, the actions you choose won’t go unnoticed, just be prepared. The consequences will always be severe in one way or another.

These are pretty basic and elementary, but still, must be repeated.

No Godmodding, No Powerplaying, etc.
No Futuristic things! You may have guns, but only primitive kinds. Also, no fancy swords that can eradicate an entire city either.
All YCM Rules apply here.

This RP in our perspective will be roughly late 1600's early 1700's time. This is used to help understand the time period much better. The Era is just for historic purposes, nothing relative to time whatsoever.

ALSO: Fading Black and I are in charge of this RP. Our word is final. And since we both are in charge, you must have both of our votes to be in it. You can't have mine and not his (or vice versa) and be in, it will not work that way.

Warning: Your posts must be at least 5 lines long.

CAUTION:
I will invoke a 3 Per Person rule of my own. Failure to comprehend a rule once will result in one strike. Failure to comprehend again will result in two. Failure to comprehend a third time will result a third strike. Three strikes and you're out. No exceptions.

There will only be 7 people, excluding Fading Black and me, that can be accepted into this RP. And to add with that, those 7 people, whomever it is, must stay active during the course of this RP. Failure to comprehend will result in deportation of the RP, and another will take their place as a new ally.

Colispy= These are more like priests/mages of the story, who use the power of Psychic abilities, however they can only have one, like making a wall, penetrating minds, etc., (this is used to help make the RP more fair, cause what if we use Psychic NPCs on you?) but don't play a significant role in the RP itself.

Fell Art= Magic that is forbidden so to speak, it is similar to Black Magic, only more, how should I put it: Body usage? (Currently we still haven't decided how Fell Art is going to be used)

Cryahola= The kingdom that is currently under reign of Queen Viclicia IV

More will be added as the RP progresses...

Reserved for future application. Just one question. Is magic allowed for usage? If this is not that kind of rp then nevermind, I was just wondering because I was considering having it be a part of my character.
Actually, yes. Magic is usable.
It's just that we're not sure if we should let it go to the characters as well, but we are sure that it will go to the priests (though they don't play much or at all a role in the RP), and some of the the villains who use Fell Art. I'll add those to a glossary of the RP.

Name: Roy Bloodsteel
Gender:Male
Profession:Blacksmith
Age: 22
Appearance: Standing at six feet and three inches. His hands have several scars from accidents in his youth. Because he gathers the minerals he smiths personally he is built rather powerfully. His eyes smolder a deep hazel colour. His skin is tanned and his face lightly freckled. A large diagonal scar works it's way across his back from an attack by a wild animal when he was young. He also bears his family mark on his right shoulder. Four arrows converging onto an eye. It is to represent that all truth returns to the point of perception. His hair is a deep black color that he never allows to extend past his brow or too far down his neck so as not to interfere with his work.

Personality: Stoic but not by any means cold hearted. While behind his anvil he takes great pride in his work and gives his all to every action and project. Everything he makes is quality. While not working he is usually gathering materials to work. But should someone come to him in need of help he is prepared to. He holds a kind of "Big Brother" mentality to those who ask him of help. He also holds Loyalty as his greatest virtue.

Bio: Ever since he was a boy and received the mark of his family his father forged him into a man as if he were a sword or a fine peice of armor. He was taught of loyalty, diligence and how to fight with a sword that he forged himself. But above all else he was taught to always speak and protect the truth. So when he was told of the great injustice done to Ujilpad and the horrific atrocities committed by the house of Ultipon. He wholeheartedly agreed to take up arms in the name of truth. He swore to give aid to the others who knew truth by providing Armor and Weapons if needed. And, when necessary, take up his own blade against the scum of Ultipon

RP Sample (Yes or no?): Working as usual at his anvil, sparks flew with each crash of his hammer as the sun blazed overhead. He was forging a mighty battle axe as someone had given his order for one. Just then a duo of cloaked beings approached him and spoke in a whispery voice. "A Sssssword good Sssssmith." The two hissed. Roy imagined something suspicious about the two but he agreed and proceeded to get the metals necessary. Just as he got back the two were upon him with daggers drawn. In a flash his sword had dispatched one of them and had parried the 2nd's dagger strike. Venom dripped from the tip of the dagger's point. "Poison eh? Tell your masters from Ultipon family...It will take much more than some unearthly blight such as this to silence the truth." The man hissed aloud and attacked only to have his dagger kicked from his hand with a mighty snap. Roy then launched his other leg into the man's jaw sending several teeth from his mouth into the forge. His sword then firmly planted in his chest. The two men dead, he wiped his blade and sheathed it, and then went back to work on the Axe, whistling as he did so.

All right then, can I have my character be a bounty hunter who uses magic as well? I had something similar done in another rp but that quickly fell apart. I'm banking on this rp holding together, and if it does magic will be an integral part of my character.

Well, go on ahead, I never said your character couldn't be a bounty hunter, just that it had to be realistic occupation is all.
I'll see if we can allow magic to characters, although personally, I don't see why not, just that I don't want it to go magic crazy in the RP.

Well, here it is, my application for the rp. Hopefully it meets with the expectations and standards of what is expected.
Name: Dorago Chisoku

Gender: Male

Profession: Bounty Hunter

Age: 22

Appearance: Dorago Chisoku is six feet tall. He has a muscular build, but not so much so that he would appear to be a body builder type. He has black hair that is spiky and goes in all directions. He has green eyes that speak of having gained experience beyond his years due to his current occupation, and a face that is a kind one when he is not working. However, it can easily become an emotionless mask when he is taking on a bounty, and is likely to stay like that until the mission for which he is conscripted has been completed. He has no identifying marks on his body, such as scars and the like, something that is rare for someone in his line of work. He is Caucasian, although he can easily appear to be something else other then that should the need ever arise.

Personality: On the surface, Dorago is a kind person, and that is actually his true nature. However, losing his parents in his teenage years due to a violent robbery caused him to become harder and colder, much more serious minded then he otherwise would have been. He prefers to work alone, although he is not above working in groups, and often spends his free time perusing tomes of magic so as to gain new spells of power, train his body so as to ensure that he will be able to stay in top condition whilst on a mission, or looking for a new bounty. He sometimes does recreational reading.

Bio: Doragos life was normal up until his fourteenth birthday. On that day, he went to spend time with his friends. When he returned home he found that his parents had both been brutally slaughtered. It was not known who had committed the crime, only that it had been a very violent one, and the house had been ransacked as though the criminal had been looking for something. After this rather tragic turn of events Dorago began distancing himself from his friends. On his fifteenth birthday he found the present that his father had meant to give him in a secret compartment of the chimney in his house and decided to leave his home to become a bounty hunter. His fathers final gift to him had been a tome of magic spells and other various bits of information that were hard to come buy, such as the locations of powerful magic artifacts. Suspecting that this had been what the criminal had been looking for, Dorago immediately decided that only he could ever see the book ever again and made learning a spell to create a pocket dimension for storing things in so that only he would be able to get at them his first priority, It has now been seven years and Dorago has been on many missions, even found some of the artifacts that he was looking for such as the Mantle of Cyrahola and the Staff of the Gods, although these are rarely used, if ever. Dorago is currently living a rather spartan life on his own, but has enough hidden treasures to buy a kingdom. In all this time he has yet to locate the one responsible for his parents murder, but he has decided to move on from that dreadful incident and is currently seeking a new bounty.

RP Sample: Dorago walked along the streets of the town that he had once called home before the death of his parents at the hands of a rather vicious criminal. It was the first time that he had been there in years, and although he would never admit it to anyone else, he had to admit to himself that it felt good to be back. Walking along the streets that he knew so well, he headed for a local tavern called Phil's. Upon arriving he stopped to make sure that the spell he had in place to conceal his true identity was securely in place before heading in. He didn't want to take the chance that anyone might recognize him. Taking a corner seat, he made sure that nobody was looking as he reached into the pocket dimension that was with him wherever he went and only could be accessed by him to pull out one of his favorite books.

Dorago started reading and waited for a waiter to be available to walk over to him before setting aside his book. He calmly placed and order of fish and chips along with their finest steak before going back to his book. He was no longer interested in reading it however, and merely held the book in place to hide his face as he though of rumors that he had heard of a den of bandits that had been raiding the town for the last few years. Might as well do something about it if they attack again while I'm still here. Dorago didn't look it, but he could hold his own against a small army of people, probably as many as a hundred normal men at once given which spells he used at the time, and he had to admit to himself that he didn't like the idea of his hometown being raided the way he had heard it was. That is, if the rumors he had been hearing were true.

As his order came up and was delivered to him, he sighed and set the book aside, preparing to dig into his first meal in over a day. He could have gone longer, but he wanted to keep his strength up. It was then that he noticed a few rather rough looking characters at the door, as well as the reactions of anyone who noticed them. So, I guess there was some truth to the rumors after all. Still, better to avoid fighting until after I've finished with my meal if possible. However, as Dorago started eating his steak, one of the vagrants took notice of him and headed his way, the others mimicking his movements. Dorago sighed as he put down his knife and fork. It looked as though he was not going to be able to eat first after all. It was a shame, really. Soon there would be blood on the floor...their blood.

Name: Troy Gradshaw, or "Big Boy Troy"

Gender: M

Profession: Soldier

Age: 29

Appearance: Troy stands exactly 6 feet tall weighing in at 310 lbs, and he claims all his weight is solid muscle, and few dare to challenge that claim. Troy's large and intimidating size is topped off by his battle scared body. Troy's entire body is littered with scars made from slash wounds and large stab wounds, but the most noticeable of all is the bayonet scar on that covers his right cheek. Besides the large scar Troy's face is untouched and in perfect condition, his eyes are a deep dark blue, his chin and cheek bones are chiseled giving him the look of a hansom young noble, and dew to military standards his hair has been completely cut off. Troy's dark blue eyes are cold and lifeless having no emotion or feeling. Troy's noble like face is smooth and inviting, yet cold and intimidating at the same time, giving him stern and kind outward appearance

Personality: Troy's outward appearance reflects very little of what he actually is very smart and inelegant. Troy respects those of higher and equal status as him, and is sort of a traditionalist, keeping a code of honor that few still know. Troy might seem to be the uptight, but when he is not in uniform he is a regular man with a strong taste for whiskey, but when Troy is in uniform he acts as if he were a machine programmed by the military. During a fight Troy fights with all his strength and determination, giving his all in every attack.

Bio: Before Troy joined the army at eighteen he was a farmer, and was raised knowing nothing, but strength, hard work, and respect. When Troy joined the military he instantly loved it, he trained for countless hours with and without his fellows. Troy trained like he fought, with all his strength and determination, he would work at something till he got it right and then work harder at it to become better. Troy's Sargent referred to him as the ideal soldier, but his fellows knew him as "Big Boy Troy" he was the good man who would buy you a drink if you didn't have the money to get yourself one. Troy out seized and out muscled all of his fellows by the time he was 27, and continues to be the biggest and strongest the military has to offer, and during every battle and war he was in he came out with more than enough trophies to show off(be them scars or other wise), but Troy never bragged about his trophies only told the story of how he got them the most famous of these being the one about the scar on his right cheek, which he received by a group of savage natives whom he claims to have slaughtered, but while Troy was one of the folk who attended the speech that the noble Ujilpad was murdered at

RP Sample:
Troy sat in the cover of a stone building that had been destroyed by cannon fire, it was to quiet something wasn't right. Troy rolled onto his stomach and crawled slowly around the destroyed building looking around, he saw nothing, but something told him that there was someone there. Troy scooted himself backwards and pulling himself up into a squatted position and looked again and having the same results, but this time he leaped from cover and landed in a full out sprint running at the nearest pile of rubble and leaping over it running like he had fire under his boots, he stopped quickly turning a corner and pulling his large musket around at the ready. The tip of the bayonet on Troy's musket was inches away from an enemy soldier's face, the man Troy stood in front of had a look of shear horror on his face as he took in the size of the man who had his gun pointed at his face. Troy looked him in the eye and spoke briefly and swiftly "Put down your gun and run back to your camp, and maybe I wont shootcha ye." the man shakily put down his musket and backed away slowly then turned and took off as fast as he could back to his camp, but before he took four strides Troy fired his musket hitting the man in the leg, the man fell with a grunt and muffled screaming, as he had landed face first in the ground. Troy walked up to the man and looked at him and spoke "You should've ran faster." Troy then raised his musket high and stabbed the man in the back of the head killing him instantly. Troy picked up the musket the man had dropped and slung it over his shoulder and continued to take cover and prepared to run and take out another enemy soldier, wherever one may be.

Here be my app. I believe it to be in order.

Name: Yukari Tsumura

Gender: Female

Profession: Mechanist, State Engineer and amateur metallurgist

Age: 22

Appearance: 5' 5", thin yet muscular figure due to lifting heavy metal, tanned skin. Her large turquoise eyes give the impression of a cheery and bubbly character, but have a cold, analytical attitude lurking beneath the surface. Her disposition is usually one of energetic enthusiasm to the world around her and their inner workings. Her long blonde hair is straight and reaches her upper back, usually tied into a ponytail. Due to being outside most of the time, she has very distinct tan lines at her elbows and knees. Her hands are small, callused and almost always covered in grease stains. Her personal effects include a gold chain with a metal cog hanging from it, an iron ring on her right index finger and a pair of iron bracers on her forearms.

Personality: Yukari is energetic and naturally curious, especially when confronted by an unfamiliar mechanism. She has a natural mechanical talent of being able to disassemble and reassemble any mechanism, all the while making it more efficient than it was before being disassembled. She is very earthly and is a secular humanist, believing that people can only help people, and should do so without the use of magic. She is starkly against the Colispy, believing them to be the cause of the recent appalling use of human bodies for energy.

Bio: Yukari was born into an old and well know family of State Engineers. Her father was very disappointed about not having a son and was even more so when Yukari's mother was not able to bear another child. Becoming disillusioned with her father, Yukari grew up with her mother, who trained her to be a tailor. For the most part, Yukari found this profession rather dreary and boring, but enjoyed the weaving aspect, the weaving machine in particular. More and more, she escaped her mother's cooking and tailoring lessons to get time alone with various mechanisms she scavenged around the house, including the grandfather clock at one time. When Yukari was 12, she witnessed her father's death as he was experimenting with a volatile powder. After this, she vowed to carry on her father's lineage and become a State Engineer. She toiled for seven long years, designing a ranged weapon that could replace the dangerous and unreliable arquebus on the battle field. The fruit of her labour was a crossbow that could fire ten bolts in quick succession without the lengthy reloading time of the traditional crossbow. The local governor was impressed and presented her with the Iron Ring, the symbol of membership in the State Engineers. She then set off on designing a new arquebus that did not have to use gunpowder to fire.

RP Sample:
Heikichi ran through the abandoned district of the city, one of his favourite stomping grounds. It was quiet, no traffic and no cops to bust him as he ran across rooftops. He quickly scaled the roof of one of the warehouses by clambering up the wall nearly four metres to grab a handhold before jumping off that handhold to the roof above. When he got to the top, he scannned the darkening horizon to find one warehouse in particular. Earlier, he had gotten a slip of paper from the Black Rebellion requesting his presence in an abandoned warehouse. Considering that the abandoned warehouse was among several other abandoned warehouses, Heikichi felt like he was trying to find a needle in a haystack.
"What warehouse could they be talking about? Geez, they could've been a little more specific..." Heikichi thought angrily to himself as he scanned the district. After a few minutes, he dropped down from the roof and ran down the street to continue looking. After checking the inside of three warehouses, Heikichi started to consider calling it a night and give up the search. Before he could turn back, he noticed one of the warehouses had light coming from the windows. Heikichi felt like assuming that it was just a bunch of homeless to found shelter, but since he was already here, he decided to investigate. He quickly made his way to one of the doors and knocked. While he waited, he noticed how bad shape the warehouse was. Even though all of the warehouses in the area were abandoned, this one was in exceptionally bad shap, with trees growing into the wallls as if they were a part of the structure. Heikichi began to think that knocking on the door was a bad idea. Heikichi got poised to run off if the hobos were angry.
