Need a break from my new archtypes and sub-types and such, just want to make a card. Well, and get a bloomin win, haven't had one for a while.

 

First come (with a good requirement) first served. As usual, first to three, rep for winner plus points depending on margain. (50 for 3-0, 25 for 3-1, 10 for 3-2)

 

Kirby's Challenge - Make a card based on Chinese Mythology.

Lore: All Fairy, Warrior and Dragon-type monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. During your Standby Phase, you can Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field to activate the corresponding effect:

-Fairy: Increase your opponent's Life Points by 1000. Special Summon 1 Fairy, Warrior or Dragon-type monster from your Graveyard whose Level is lower than the Tributed monster.

-Warrior: When you opponent next declares an attack, negate the attack and inflict damage equal to the ATK of the Tributed monster. You can only activate this effect if the Tributed monster is in your Graveyard when an attack is declared.

-Dragon: Destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap card on the field. If the destroyed card was a Spell, Dragon-type monsters you control are unaffected by Spell Cards (except this card) until your End Phase. If the destroyed card was a Trap, Dragon-type monsters you control are unaffected by Trap Cards until your End Phase.

Lore: You can Special Summon this card by removing from play 2 monsters in your Graveyard. This card gains ATK equal to the number of monsters in your Graveyard x100. While you control this face-up card, any cards that are destroyed are removed from play instead of being sent to the Graveyard.

Anyways, it's alright if you don't like this, but:

Make a set of cards (presumably 3 or more) that make up a story together (such as Gagagigo).

Ooh, I know I said first come first served... but I do like Zextra's requirement (I'm guessing it has too be Vanilla's for a story to work right?)

 

I like Kirby's requirement as well. But it's so hard to choose, I wonder which is better... There's only one way to find out... FIGHT!!!

Well, they don't HAVE to be all vanillas. However, it would require at least one vanilla as the base of the story :D

I've gone old school boosting Field Spell with added twists. Have some logic behind what I've done effects-wise, but will explain fully later (yeah like anyone gives a...)

 

This thing is open to votes. First to 3.

 

Ps Zextra I'm going to log off shortly but will try to PM you cards tomorrow, I think flowing pictures are going to be the tricky bit here but once I find some hopefully I'll be hit with some inspiration :lol:

I hope - when you say more descriptive effect - you haven't voted for me just because my effect is longer than Kirby's.

 

More useful is a decent reason though, so 1-0.

I'll vote for Matt's card as well. It might require tributes to do anything other than increase ATK, but in the long run, the LP increase, spell/trap destruction and attack negation all come in handy.
