I originally made these cards for a club set. But it was unfortunatly discontinued. I came up with the name and the concept, so don't try to take any credit :P

I decided to make this a co-op Set with Tomtekorv. So expect some edits in the following days.

Anyways this set is one based on the only part of YGO that isn't exploided yet, the turn count.
So here are the Twisted Destiny monsters!

Boss Card
So what if I named it after myself! It's a good name so don't complain.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by moving the turn count back to 0 when it is over 30. (The turn continues as normal.) Once per turn, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to the turn count x 400.

Each time this card destroys a monster by battle, move the turn count forward by 2 turns. (The turn continues as normal.) Once per turn, you can select 1 face-down monster your opponent controls. By moving the turn count back by 8, you can flip that monster to face-up Attack Position. (The turn continues as normal.) Flip Effects are not activated at this time.

When this card is Summoned, select 1 monster you control. This card cannot be selected as an attack target while you control the selected monster. You can send 1 monster on your side of the field to the Graveyard to increase the turn count by an amount equal to its Level. (The turn continues as normal.)

Once per turn, you can equip 1 face-up monster you control to this card as an Equip Card. If the turn count is 25 or higher, you can also equip your opponent's monsters to this card. (You can only equip 2 monster at a time to this card.) Increase this cards ATK by halve the equipped monster's original ATK. When this card is destroyed, return the equipped monsters to thier owners side of the field.

Once per turn, you can move the turn count forward by a number of turns equal to the number of "Twisted Destiny" monsters you control. (The turn continues as normal.) Each time a "Twisted Destiny" monster is destroyed, place 1 Chaos-Incarn Counter on this card (Max. 12). You can remove any number of Chaos-Incarn Counters to Special Summon 1 "Twisted Destiny" monster from your hand or Graveyard to the field, whose Level is equal to the number of Chaos-Incarn Counters removed.

Activate only when you control 2 or more "Twisted Destiny" monsters. Move the turn count back by 15. Negate the activation of a Spell Card / Trap Card / Normal Summon / Flip Summon / Special Summon and destroy the Spell Card, Trap Card, or Summoned monster.

Just a question, but
Are cards like Swords, Cage, and Final effected by this? o-o If so then
(Doesn't run swords with this, tosses 3 final countdowns)

xD it seems like an interesting arctype, and it would serve a perpous of actually counting turns in the game other then for swords.

o-o you should totally make one that says "Once per turn, you can decrease your turn count by one to special summon one, level 4 or lower "Twisted Destiny" monster from your hand or deck."

This deck could also fairly easily abuse swords, as you would find a way to keep the turn cost down...

o-o this would also give a reason to use Pyro Clock of Destiny, other then for FC, SoRL, NSC and all them

I can actually see this becoming a wide spread support. If anything certainly a good theme. It'd require a 3-4 more monsters and some more spell and trap cards and it can actually be up to par with Reptiliannes and fortune ladies amount of support and tier. With cards like these Pyro clock of destiny isn't even needed. Konami can actually introduce this series its really good, the'd have to introduce it in the anime or a whole Structure deck first, as their not only very new but their also need a explanation sine they have unheard of effects, and stuff like that usually appear in the anime (morphtronic, Earthbound Immortals, etc)

An extremely interesting idea Lex, I congratulate you and Tomtekorv on one of the most original and creative sets I have ever seen. But, how much does creativity matter if it is not playable?

Pic: 10/10 Amazing pics, fit perfectly

Template: 8/10 Normal Template

OCG: 10/10 No errors that I could find

Originality/Creativity: 10/10 +Rep I already made that point

Playability: 8/10 I was pretty much kidding here, they are pretty playable and can be quite devastating with cards like FC. For Twisted Judgment, however, I would move back the turn counter back at least 10 turns, possibly even reset it to 0. It just seems broken otherwise, cuz you'll make up those turns extremely fast. Armory Tamer is almost broken as well, I would suggest rephrasing it so that as long as Armory Tamer is face-up on the field, that monster cannot be declared as an attack target. Weaponry Master I don't understand, because when it would be destroyed in battle the equipped monster should be destroyed instead, so I would say instead that if it is destroyed by a card effect, equipped monsters are returned to their owner's side of the field.

Overall: 46/50 Awesome :D these almost blow my mind and if they existed for real they would be very well played in the meta.

Yeah, perhaps I should increase the move back on "Twisted Judgement". Well "Armory Tamer's" effect looks ballanced enough imo seeing that you still need to send monsters to the grave for its secondary effect to work, but I shall see what I can do.
Well "Weaponry Master's" probebly different then what you would expect, it returns the monsters that it used. In countrary to "Relinquished" and similair monsters.
