LV Ritual Monsters

Max Darkness

Recommended Posts

A pseudo-RFP FIRE Archetype that need to be Ritual Summoned with their lower-Level counterparts to gain their effects. Simple really.

And the effect "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Ritual Summon" is not a typo. It's the effect of a Nomi Ritual Monster.

...Not quite sure how I forgot to post the Ritual Spell when I first put this up, but oh well...

Enjoy.

Effect: This card is used to Ritual Summon a "Helios Mage" monster. You must also remove from play monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you are attempting to Ritual Summon. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead. If this card is removed from play during your Draw Phase and you control a face-up "Helios Mage" monster(s) you can add this card to your hand instead of conducting your normal draw.

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Ritual Summon with the Ritual Spell Card "Spell of the Firecaster". Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. If you do, you cannot activate cards of the same kind (Spell or Trap) until your next Draw Phase. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, increase any Battle Damage inflicted by an amount equal to the number of your removed from play cards x 50. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can remove it from play instead. During your next Standby Phase, if you control no monsters, you can return this removed from play card to your hand. You can remove this card in your hand from your hand to add 1 "Helios Mage" monster to the top of your Deck.

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Ritual Summon with the Ritual Spell Card "Spell of the Firecaster" or by its own effect. If this card was Ritual Summoned by removing "Helios Mage LV2", it gains the following effect:

* Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. If you do, you can only activate 1 card of the same kind (Spell or Trap) until your next Draw Phase. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, increase any damage inflicted by an amount equal to the number of your removed from play cards x 100. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can remove it from play instead. During your next Standby Phase, if you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card in Attack Position from your Removed from Play Zone.

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Ritual Summon with the Ritual Spell Card "Spell of the Firecaster" or by its own effect. If this card was Ritual Summoned by removing "Helios Mage LV5", it gains the following effect:

* Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, increase any damage inflicted by an amount equal to the number of your removed from play cards x 200. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can remove it from play instead. During your next Standby Phase, if you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card in Attack Position from your Removed from Play Zone.

Nice cards. Well balanced and no OCG errors that I can see. 9.9/10 Next, post the ritual card itself.

Thanks. I don't know how I managed to miss the Ritual Spell...

Originality is not lacking but x50 Burn is pointless, rise it to 300!

Again, cards are great ^^

I'll raise the burn shortly. I think 200 might be better, considering you RFP the materials to start off with.

Thanks for the rep and rates. As for the cards, they were made on MSE, which are a lighter shade.

Erm, shouldn't the Lv2 have an effect to summon the Lv5 written into it somewhere?

Good cards though.

No, since these are Type 3 LV Monsters (compare the "Ultimate Insect" and "Dark Lucius" LV lines), so they can all be summoned independently, but need the lower form to 'unlock' their effects.

Now those are some great Ritual monsters excellent work 10/10

Thanks for the rates.

Actually Lv. 5 and Lv. 8 are useless cuz you're not Tributing the monster for the Ritual Summon! you're removing them from play...

That was a typo in the effect caused by me having copying the old versions by mistake. The cards say 'removing', but the effects said 'Tributing'. That's fixed now.

The only thing I don't like about them is the monsters thier pics.

SO I'll give them a 9/10

Aw, really? I thought they were quite good, showing the progression from simple mage up to elemental master. Oh well.

Very nice cards, I love the Ritual cards good ones are hard to come across now a days.

I enjoy the LV cards too, all of these are very well balanced.

9/10 - Nothings perfect

Of course. Thanks.

Card effects edited to increase the burn damage.
