Izo heaved a pleasant sigh as he wandered about campus, an energetic smile on his face and a notable spring in his step. He was in a pretty good mood today and it showed in his positive attitude. It was a relief to get away from the hustle of a crowded city and go to somewhere where he could not only relax away from his father, but also meet new people and indulge in one of his favourite hobbies, and better yet get graded for it.

 

His deck was held firmly in a box on the side of his belt, just next to where his arm hung down by his side as he walked. He was very fond of his deck and couldn't wait to try it out against someone.

Let's see he thought I'd rather not jump the gun so soon, but I'm still eager to see what the people here are like. After all, I'm betting they're in a whole other league than the duelist back home

He paused, taking out his deck and rifling through it, pondering if it might be a good idea to give it some improvements while he was here.

Danny heaved himself out of bed. His first day at duel academy awaited him. After getting a quick shower he started to get dressed. He took the New Coral Red Uniform from out of his wardrobe. He took the Red Blazer from the Uniform and hung it back up in the Wardrobe. He didnt need to wear that. He already had Garth's Leather jacket, he would wear that instead to remember his Adoptive father. He put on the uniform and then put the leather jacket over the t-shirt. but left it unzipped so people would know what dorm he was in. Danny Picked up a box from off the bed side cabinet. And took out his Knight deck. How long before the other students realise its the Knight deck from the legends he thought to himself. Danny grabbed the duel disk he found with the legendary deck from off his table. He didnt know why but when he wore the Duel disk it made him feel different somehow. Danny Placed the deck into the duel disk and set off for his first class.

Aeolus is dueling 2 students for their final exam. He starts with 4000, the students start with 8000.

 

The taller of the students goes first. Student Summons Gladiator Beast Samnite in ATK position and ends.

 

Aeolus draws a card. Sets 1 card and sets "Silence Eye." Ends.

 

Shorter student draws and summons Alien Warrior an ATK Position, Attacks Face-Down "Silence Eye" with Alien Warrior and destroys it. Aeolus activates "Silence Burst" destroying all other cards on the field. Student ends.

 

Aeolus draws. Activates "Sacred Text of Silence." Discards "Silence Vine" to add "Silence Stallion" to his hand. Discards "Silence Stallion" to add "Palace of Stillness" to his hand. Activates "Palace of Stillness." Summons another "Silence Stallion." (ATK: 2100) Activates "Silence Crystal" and uses its effect to place one Stillness Counter on "Silence Stallion." Palace of Stillness' effect activates. (Stallion's ATK: 2500) Attacks directly. (Students 8000 --> 5500) Ends.

 

Student 1's turn. draws. Summons "Gladiator Beast Hoplomus." Special Summons "Test Tiger." (DEF: 300) returns Hoplomus to deck to Special Summon "GB Darius" (DEF: 300) Special Summons GB Samnite from Graveyard (DEF: 1200) Ends.

 

Aeolus draws. Activates "Polymerization" fusing "Silence Knight" with "Silence Gargoyle" to Summon "Silence Paladin" (ATK 2700). Attacks Test Tiger with it Paladin. Test Tiger is destroyed. Paladin can attack twice. Paladin attacks Darius. Darius is destroyed. Stallion attacks Samnite. Samnite is destroyed. Ends.

 

Student 2's turn. Summons "Alien Ammonite" (DEF: 200) Special Summons Alien Warrior From the Graveyard (DEF: 1000) by Ammonite's effect and Alien Dog by its own effect (DEF: 1000) Places A Counters on Paladin. Ends

 

Aeolus Draws and summons Silence Marauder. (ATK: 1600) Marauder attacks Ammonite and by Marauder's Effect inflicts Piercing. (Students: 5500 -->4200) Attacks A- Warrior with Stallion. Attacks Alien Dog with Paladin. Paladin can attack twice. Paladin attacks directly. (Students 4200 --> 1500) Ends.

 

Student 1's turn. Summons GB Equeste. (DEF: 1200) Ends.

 

Aeolus draws. Activates "Silence Strobe" and equips it to Marauder. (ATK: 3600) Destroys Equeste with Marauder. (Students 1500 --> 0)

Izumi screwed the plate back into position and turned the computer over. She was about to switch it on, but her eyes caught the clock at the edge of her desk and she though better of it. She didn't need the computer for class or anything, so it could always be tested later. She pushed the screwdriver into an inside pocket on her new yellow jacket and stood up, scooping up her duel disk and deck box, quickly putting them on, and hurrying out of the room, pulling on her shoes as she left. It was the first day, and she knew from experience that if you miss the start of something, you're almost certain to miss something important, and as far as her classes went, Izumi didn't need to miss anything important.

Danny took a deep breath of the fresh air as he left the comfort of his dorm room. Before he set of to class he would check to see if his Duel runner had arrived. It didnt matter if he was late by 5 mins for his first lesson. They would only be telling them what would be happening this year. Danny set off taking in the scenery of the academy. From the Coral Red dorms he could see the main building where his lessons would be, he could also see the beach. I might have to go there soon to see if the beach is any good, Danny thought to himself. Danny took one last look at the main building and set off in the opposite direction towards the Sand Yellow dorms. The Duel Runner arena was near there and so was the Garage, if his Duel Runner had arrived it would be there. As Danny got closer to the Yellow Dorms he could see a Female Sand Yellow student walking towards him heading for the main building. As Danny got closer to the student he saw a Screwdriver poking out from a pocket on her Jacket. I wonder if she's just been to the Duel Runners he thought to himself.

Izo wandered inside, still rifling through his deck and not paying any real attention to where he was going. Only when he'd finished did he seem to bring himself back to reality and heard the unmistakable sound of dueling nearby. Following the source he wandered into the duel arena, standing just in the doorway and looking down on the room. There he saw the final move of a three way duel, won by a older boy in a blue uniform.

 

Izo clapped politely at the boy's victory, a small smile playing about on hi face.

"Most impressive," he called down in a cheerful tone "I only wish I'd arrived sooner so I could've seen the whole thing."

Mike was in the lecture hall waiting for all the students to arrive. As the Dorm instructor for Coral Red it was his job to introduce all the students to teh staff. He began reviewing his teachings for the day which where just basic introductions into the academy and what to do and not do. Well this doesn't appeat to very exciting for the first day and as usaul Mike began changing the teachings to his own liking and and get the students excited about getting into duel academy. There much better Instead of having boring lectures about the rules he decided to ahve them experance duel academy for what it was and have them duel during the time instead. This should make the students happy

Max awoke suddenly, a sharp pain in his back. What th- He looked over, he saw what resembled a large armband. Oops. Must have left it on He took the duel disk and deck and headed outside. He saw a dark haired boy from his dorm, (Ocean Blue) being congratulated by many students. Wow, who knew duel academy was so popular. Now I just need somebody to duel... He walked to the duelling hall to find someone. "Who wants a duel!" No-one answered. He saw a white haired boy from Yellow watching the duels. "Want to duel?" he asked showing him his deck briefly. "I run Blackwings." He thought the person might again ignore him like everyone else has. There were more people entering the hall now.

Waiting for a reply to his comment, Izo thoughts became sidetracked when he noticed another student in blue walk up to him, his deck out.

"Want to duel?" he asked "I run Blackwings."

Izo raised an inquisitive eyebrow at this comment.

Blackwings, huh? He thought Don't think I've ever dueled against one of those before, this could prove quite the challenge

 

"Sounds good," he replied brightly "I've been meaning to see how well my deck fares out here.

On que, he retrieved his own deck and started shuffling it casually.

"Oh yes," he continued, looking up "My name's Izo, Izo Geru. And you are?"

As far as he was concerned, it was polite to introduce yourself to your opponent first, after all there was no reason they could become friends afterwords.

Allen walked around campus aloof, checking out the area he spots a bunch of kids together. they had just finished there duel. The kids looked around and saw allen. Instantly they notice the criminal mark on his face and were either scared or confused. in there minds they wonder how did this punk get to duel academy? The big jock like one had on a ocean blue uniform calls alllen a punk. Allen continues to walk and the jock keeps taunting him. half the his friends were scared for the jocks life will the other joined in with him. Allen turns around and with his ice cold eyes, and enters the duel

he activates reinforcement pf the army and add marauding captain to his hand, then he summons captain and with captains effect special summons command knight which give his whole field a 400 boost. captain (1600 atk) knight (1600 atk) and sets negate attack and ends his turn.

activates mystical space typhoon and destroys negate attack

then summons engora troop leader( 1800 at,1400 def) and uses the effect of troop leader to special summon engora soldier (1600at, 1900def) then he tributes both to special summon engora battle knight (2400 atk, 2000 def) activates battles knight effect which discards a card from both players hands allen discards engora medic which effect activates when sent to graveyard by engora card effect and allen special summons back troop leader from the grave. then battle knights 2nd effect kicks in which sends the top 2 cards of each players deck to the graveyard. allen mils an engora medic and engora scout. the effect of the medic special summons back engora soldier from the grave. then engora scouts effect kicks in when its sent to the graveyard by an engora card effect hs gets to add an engora monster from his deck to his hand. he add engora solider then when allen controls and engora monster on his side of the field he can special summon engora soldier from his hand. he special summons soldier. now allen has 4 monsters on his field (battle knight atk 2400, 2 engora soldier 1600 atk, and 1 engora troop leader 1800 atk)

allen commands his engora soldiers to suicide with the jocks marauding captain and command knight leaving his field open. allen attacks with battle knight and troop leader to end the game ( 4000-2400-1800= -200)

 

with no problem at all allen defeats the higher ranked jock in one turn.

in a rage the jock rushes allen

allen see his chances and flips the jock and beats down the jock.

his friends come and tries to help his friend until campus security and came took allen to the head deans office.

the word spread quickly around school about a sand yellow student with a criminal mark beating a ocean blue student not only in a duel but in a fight.

rumors are going like widefire about the criminal student.

Mike still had about 2 more hours till he had to start the class and not a single student had shown up. He knew he had to be patient and decided to go watch Aeolus's duel. He heard that he was dueling students for their final exams. Since Mike tended to avoid dueling since he found himself not enjoying it a lot lately , he didn't duel students for their final exam. When Mike reached the areana the duel was done and Aeolus had won. just what I thought. He really doesn't go easy on them. Mike walked on down to the areana. So you think they pass or fail, Aeolus Mike liked talking to people, though so people did not enjoy his company. I caught the last end of your duel and, boy were you good, though I'm sure they were good too. Mike was very energtic while he talking and often ignored what people said even when he asked the question, he would answer for them.

Grey decided to sit down for this duel. "Alright, I'll let you go first, kid."

 

DUEL START-Grey Faltren vs Coral Student

 

Coral Student's turn. Draw. Activates "White Dragon Ritual," discarding one "Armored Lizard" to the graveyard to Special Summon "Paladin of White Dragon" in attack position. Activates Graceful Charity, drawing three cards and discarding "Kaibaman" and "Silent Doom." Summons "Gagagigo" in attack position. Ends turn.

 

Grey's turn. Draw. Summons "Flamvell Guard" in attack position. Removes "Flamvell Guard" from play to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" in attack position. Uses "Red-Eyes'" effect to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Wyvern" in attack position. Activates "Lightning Vortex," discarding "Lord of D." to destroy his opponent's monsters. Attacks directly with the two "Red-Eyes" monsters, reducing Coral Student's LP to 0. Grey Faltren wins.

 

"Nice try, but you'll have to work more on that White Dragon deck of yours. Feel free to challenge me any time you want."

while being escorted by security to the dean's office many other students look in fright while others look in hate.

everybody is staring at his criminal mark, they see him as an outcast and a monster. Allen arrives at the deans office.

"please sit down" allen sits while the dean paces back and fourth. "So allen what is this about a fight i hear?" allen stays silent. "well since this is your first time ill let you off easy" Allen still doesnt speak. "allen ive notice you at the tryout exams, you are quite a good duelist and you have alot of potential to go professional" "cut the bullshit" allen finally talks "your just like all the others"

they all judge me, but THEY DONT KNOW ME! "im doing no such thing" he turns around and allen leaves the office. The dean stop him "you must understand im trying to help you" "thats what they all say, until they betray you!" "well im not keeping you here against your will you may leave, but remember ill always be here for you" before he can even finish allen left.

The duel now over and done with, the spectators quickly departed, talking about Grey's amazing OTK. He just smiled and moved on.

He walked past the dean's office and heard a heated debate going on between him and Allen. We don't have arguements like these where I'm from...((OOC: In America!)) He thought Allen was an alright guy, and an even better duelist, but it always seemed like the guy thought someone was out to get him. Something Grey didn't really understand.

He saw Allen walk out.

"Hey, Allen! You alright? I heard a slight bit of what was going on. Are you paranoid or something?"

Izumi passed a boy from the red dorm heading the other way, and pushed the screwdriver, which had somehow worked itself upwards and was poking out of her jacket, back down into the pocket, out of sight. Izumi glanced at the time again. Although there wouldn't really be enough time to set up and test the computer, it wasn't exactly time for class, so she decided to wonder around the school. There would almost certainly be someone duelling, which aught to kill some time. Apparently a couple of duels had already finished, having been won in a single turn. Izumi supposed that it wasn't impossible with enough luck, and it wasn't impossible that two people had enough luck in the same place at the same time.

Danny had passed the Yellow dorms and could see the Duel Arena in the distance. Danny kept walking for another 10 min's until he finally reached the duel runner arena. Danny entered the garage to the left of the Arena. Danny Spotted Garth's Duel Runner parked up near the wall but could also see three Men stood around the Duel Runner. As Danny approached the men to see what they were doing, one of them stood up and looked Danny in the eyes. "Do you know whose Duel Runner this is" The Man asked Danny.

"It Belonged to a Man called Garth Liddle but it now belongs to me" Danny replied in a serious tone.

"How did you get this Duel Runner" the man asked in shock. The other to men had stood up beside The older man and were looking at Danny like he was something amazing.

"I'm Garth's son, and he gave me it when he passed away" Danny said feeling intimidated by the three men.

"I Didn't know Garth had a son, But that doesn't matter because I'm challenging you to a duel" Said the man who Danny gathered was there leader.

"What kind of duel" Danny Replied.

"A duel on our bikes. If you are the so called son of Garth you should have his skill's but if you did you wouldn't be in Coral red now would you." the man sniggered.

Danny got on his Duel Runner and drove it into position only to be joined by the mysterious man 5 min's later.

Speed world 2 activated. 3,2,1 Go Danny took the lead on the Duel Runner and got to the first corner before his opponent.

"I Go first, my turn" Danny Shouted over the roar of his engine.

Danny drew a card to add too his hand.

Danny summoned Black Knight in Attack mode: ATK:1900 DEF:800. Danny then activated the effect of the White Knight in his hand and special summoned it in Attack mode: ATK:1700 DEF:1500

Danny set 1 card face down (Returning Knight) and ended his turn.

"My turn, prepare to lose already"

The man summoned a Machina Gearframe to the field and used its effect to add a Machina Fortress to his hand. He then used Machina Fortress's special effect to Special Summon it in attack mode. He set 1 card face down (Mirror Force) and then entered the Battle Phase. He sent Gearframe to destroy White Knight.

(Danny=4000-100=3900)

He then sent Fortress to destroy Black Knight.

(Danny=3900-600=3300)

The man then ended his turn.

Not so fast Danny shouted i activate the trap card Returning Knight and Special Summon Both my White Knight and my Black Knight to my side of the field.

Dannys turn.

Now i Synchro summon Twilight Knight in attack mode. And i activate its special effect. By paying half my life points i can destroy all cards on the field.

(Danny=3300-1650=1650)

Then i can pay 1000 Life points to summon Black Knight in Attack Mode.

(Danny=1650-1000=650)

Then i Summon Hell Knight in attack Mode and activate the special effect of Death Knight in my hand and summon it to my side of the field.

I now Attack you directly.

(Man=4000-1900=2100)

(Man=2100-1700=400)

(Man=400-1300=-900)

"It Looks like i win" Danny said rounding the last corner.

Meanwhile Justin was dueling a kid.

Justin's turn. Draws AOJ Cyclone Creator. Summons AOJ Core Destroyer(ATK:1200). Sets a card.

 

Kid's turn. Summons Blizzard Warrior in Attack position(ATK:1400). Attacks Core Destroyer. Justin activates DNA Transplant making all monsters on the field Light Attribute. Core Destroyer's effect destroys Blizzard Warrior immeadiately. Ends.

 

Justin Draws. Summons AOJ Cyclone Creator(ATK:1400). Attacks directly with both monsters. (Kid: 4000-->2600-->1400) Ends.

 

Kid draws. Summons Numbing Grub of the Ice Barrier. (DEF:1800) Ends.

 

Justin Draws. Summons AOJ Nullifier. Special Summons AOJ Cosmic Gateway by its own effect(ATK:2400). Synchro Summons AOJ Decisive Armor(ATK:3300) using Cyclone Creator, Core Destroyer, and Nullifier. Decisive Armor attacks numbing grub. Cosmic Gateway attacks directly (Kid: 1400-->0)

Danny parked up his Duel Runner and stepped off of it.

"Th...Th...Th...Those cards, are they the cards i think they are?" stuttered the Man, Danny had just dueled.

"If your talking about the Knight cards from the legends then Yes." Said Danny.

"This is amazing, How did you get those cards." Said the Man in shock.

"I spent Half a Year tracking them down, until I finally found them in a castle in England along with this Duel Disk" said Danny lifting his arm so the Man could see the Duel Disk.

"You Duel just like your father, With Spirit and Passion and a hell of a lot of fun. By the way I'm Harry I'm the teacher for Duel Runner" Said Harry.

"Thank you, and its a pleasure to meet you sir." Said Danny holding out his hand.

Harry Took Danny's hand and shook it. "No its my pleasure to meet you, your father was an extraordinary duelist and my Idol when i was a kid." Harry admitted.

"Thank you for the Duel sir, but I must be on my way to class I'm already 10 minutes late." Danny said looking at his watch.

"My apologies for keeping you so long Danny, You are an outstanding duelist just like your father. You wont be in Coral Red for long with your talent." Harry told Danny.

"It was my choice to be in Coral Red" Danny shouted as he left the garage and set off towards the school. Leaving Harry a little puzzled as to why.

in the facility at the age of 12." people like you judge me on who am i. to you people i am nothing but a criminal (evident buy Allen's criminal tattoo). now get out of my way." allen leaves grey and heads out. not caring to go to class allen heads to the sea side cliff and stares at the oceans to pass the time. wondering to himself what his life could of been if he was born in the nice areas of new domino city. if we went to school and made friends and enjoyed life. realizing that this is his chance to start a new life. he couldnt waste it. but he still has a hard time trusting people.

Izumi settled into a seat in a large lecture hall where her first lesson was to be held, and prepared the things she would need for it. Whilst she was waiting, she glanced around at who else was also already in the room. A lot of them seemed to be with existing friends, however the ones Izumi had made earlier were either in different classes or hadn't arrived. With nothing else to do, she pulled out a small electronic toy, pulled the screwdriver from her pocket, and began to dismantle it. As she looked over the components, she pulled out a plastic bag, ready to drop them into it when the class began.

At this time Aeolus was getting ready to begin his lesson in one hour, yet only one student was in class. The Student was getting bored, so he challenged the teacher to a duel. Aeolus accepted.

 

Student's turn. Summons Wattgiraffe(ATK 1200). Ends.

 

Aeolus draws. Summons Silence Marauder(ATK 1600) Activates Polymerization fusing Silence Gargoyle and Silence Knight to summon Silence Paladin(ATK 2700). Marauder destroys Wattgiraffe and Paladin attacks directly, twice by its effect. (Student 4000-->3600-->900-->0)

allen runs into the lecture hall in the middle of the lesson. everyone is staring at him and are starting to gossip. the teacher was far more welcoming and lets him sit down where ever he wants. he sit down to the far side of the class room away from the other kids. wonder to himself now that either everyone is afraid of him or hate him he wonders to himself if its to late to make friends? he turns around noticing behind him was a girl playing with tools and some sort of electronic contraption. she was really into the electronic device and she didnt notice him. allen failed to pay attention during the lesson to busy thinking about himself when the bell rang he was the last to leave just after the girl with the electronic device.

Izumi slipped the parts of the toy into the bag and pocketed the screwdriver when the teacher appeared. As she listened to the first lesson she found it was better than she'd expected - most of what was covered had already been drilled into her head by her brothers, so she found it easy. She knew it would get more challenging, and she knew she couldn't stop concentrating or it would come up on her without her noticing, but at least she had time to get used to the school before having to struggle with her work. Izumi would have preferred to have been gone as soon as the bell rang, but she was trapped toward the middle of the row, and so ended up being one of the last out of the room.
