You've just been promoted to a general in the Lysenna Army. They recruit from any city.

Your job is to lead an army and recruit men to fight the forces of Draem.

Lysenna and Draem have been at war for hundreds of years, and you and all other new recruits can help.

This is the map of Lysenna.

(WE HAVE STARTED :D)

Daelam exited the kings throne room.

"Wow, I never thought I'd be a general," he said excitedly.

Daelam walked to the nearby inn.

"Looks like there's some fresh meat here to recruit," he thought to himself.

Daelam walked inside and stood up, "I am enlisting soldiers for my army! I am General Daelam Gregous, if you wish to join, step up immediately!"

10 Men stood.

From outside the inn, sounds of firm footsteps can be heard against the wooden floors of the inn. A young man, twenty-three of age walked into the inn, a beautifully crafted sword horizontally placed behind him on his waist. The young man had a stern facial expression as if he means business and not one to joke around. "So you're General Daelam Gregous...." Riohs started. "I am Riohs Tredal, here...." Riohs said while handing Daelam his mercenary contract paper to the Lysenna army.

"Riohs Tredal?" Daelam questioned, "I've heard great things about you. It's an honor to meet you. What are you doing here?"

All the men that accepted Daelams invitation lined up in front of him and saluted.

"No need to salute, friends," Daelam said, "We will be fighting as a team, and we will be taking Draem down one piece at a time!"

All of the men cheered.

Daelam turned towards Riohs once more.

"Great things?...." Riohs said in a quiet tone then gave a slight saddened chuckle. "What a joke.... There's nothing great about being a memory...." Riohs replied. He then pointed to the contract that Daelam held in his hand. "The contract.... I've been assigned to your division to work as a soldier for thirty days.... That's all there is to it.... Don't worry, your king paid highly for my services, and I'm not going to disappoint.... Just tell me what to do General...." Riohs said coldly as he looked to the other soldiers. "Humph.... You might want to toughen them up a bit.... They wouldn't last against Draem's Imperial Army in the shape they're in now...." Riohs said.

"Very true Riohs, very true. We will need to toughen them a lot, but I'll need your help. After the thirty days are up, I'll put in a recommendation for you to become a general, you'd serve this country well."

Daelam scratched his head.

"I have a training outpost nearby, we'll get them stronger there. I'm ready when you are."

"General?.... Sorry, but I'm going to have to pass.... If you paid me for my services then I'm willing to provide my skills, otherwise, find yourself another general.... I'm not interested...." Riohs responded as he closed his eyes and leaned against the wall. Riohs once again opened his eyes and stared at the soldiers in line. "A training outpost huh?.... At least that'll provide some time to get these recruits ready for the real test.... I'm not in line to be giving orders.... You're the general afterall.... I'll just follow behind you, so lead the way...." Riohs said as he walked to the back of the line with the other soldiers.

"Alright, I guess that works," Daelam said.

A few moments later, Daelam, Riohs, and the soldiers arrived.

"Alright, recruits!" Daelam yelled, "You are still soft, we need to toughen you up! There are practice swords lined up on the ground in front on you. Take them and we will begin!"

All of the men picked up their swords and stood in a ready position.

Selene was practicing with the other men of the army; she knew she shuold be in the mage training area but it already had surpassed her patience level; the magework was getting easy for her and she needed to exercise her muscles.

Selene stood in ready position, her black hair swept neatly into a ponytail behind her. She wondered if they were going to be sparring each other or on practice dummies.

Daelam approached the recruits.

"Very good," he said, "You all are doing very well. Now, it's time to practice against each other. Before we begin, is anyone here more proficient with another weapon."

3 men raise their hands.

"I use daggers. I can assassinate people," one said.

"I use bow and arrow," the other two said.

Selene also raised her hand. "I use magic, but I also am skilled with a bow and arrow, though a sword is fine with me." she said coolly, letting the other men know that she was a woman and not a man. She hated it when everyone thought that the recruit swordtraining ground was for men only.

She grabbed her training sword and held it in a hard but malleable grip. She was ready to show everyone how strong she was, and to fight.

"Yes, I am," Daelam said, smiling, "And you must be Sir Richard, or "the Devil's Claymore," it's great to meet you."

Daelam put his finger up as if to say "just a minute."

"Good work, boys! Keep fighting! Once you all master sparring each other, we MIGHT be ready to go into battle. We'll just need to make sure you can handle real weapons," Daelam yelled.

Daelam stuck out his hand to shake Sir Richard's.

Richard firmly grasped Daelam's hand

"And it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Looks like a good group you've got here."

Richard said looking at the group of people sparing

"I remember when I was like them."

Richard laughed

"But that was long ago."

Richard smiled

"Its been awhile since I have spared though."

Richard looked at Daelam with a grin

Sîon Jones leaned back into his seat, holding several documents, each of which he scanned in turn.

"If I combine those two, and those three, and move the spares to those," he muttered, waving various pieces of paper around, "then they'll be back up to strength. Then it's just a case of getting some new troops." He set the papers down on the table in front of him, and reached for the tankard sat there. He took a swig and tipped his head back, eyes closed, pondering where he was going to get the best part of an army from. This town would supply some men, but they would be raw, and he needed to find some scouts, so it looked like he would be leaving the built-up areas for a while.

Selene clashed swords with some random person. She used magic to harden the sword which was about to splinter under her firm grip.

She gave a small smile, then raised her sword up as if surrendering, then ducked under with a parry and a stab under his defense. The man lay spread-eagled on the floor, arms raised, with her sword at his heart.

"I surrender," he gasped, sweating.

Richard started to swing but seeing Daelam's sword had broken he dropped the sword

"Good fight, you will make a fine general."

Richard said putting his hand on Daelam's shoulder

"But you'll haft to alot better to keep up with me."

Richard said smiling

"What do say to letting my new troops fight yours?"

Richard said looking at the group of troops Daelam had at his command
