Max Darkness
Konami has been releasing Tuner Monsters recently that, when used as a Synchro Material Monster, grant that Synchro Monster additional effects; be it Piercing Damage or additional ATK. So, using the right cards, a Synchro Monster can become far more powerful than it would have been. So, here are the "Nakarans", an Archetype based on that idea. Since Ritual Monsters were the original non-specific multiple tribute monsters, it seemed fitting to make the entire set based on Ritual Summoning. The Ritual Monsters themselves seem underpowered, but depending on which monsters are Tributed to summon them, they can gain any number of additional, and powerful, effects. As for the names and aesthetics, they are based on the Hindu version of Underworld. All are named after Asuri (lit. Dark Gods/Demons), with the Rituals being named after the more famous ones. The exceptions are the "Nakaran Asuri", all named after the Hindu Demonic Traits, a counterpart to the Christian Seven Sins. Enjoy. The Ritual Spell The Ritual Monsters Great destroyer of the trinity, arise to change this decadent world. Take strength from the ones offered to you! Ritual Summon! Auspicious divinity, Shiva Narakan Demon! [spoiler=The Narakan Asuri] [spoiler=Other Narakan Support]
Kato_Zenamara
A nice idea, but its more or less already been done by the Ritua Monsters and the Djinns. Valiant effort though. About the cards themselves, I'm liking the effects. They're more than just ATK boosts or piercing damage, which brings originality. I like how, once you get your Ritual Monster out, it blocks just about everything else and you have to wait until the next "round" to "try again". Max Darkness
@ Kato: Like you said, this has been sort-of already done by the "Ritua" monsters. However, I wanted to go for a true 'pick-and-mix' of effects the Rituals can pick up, meaning you can summon 2 of them with very different effects. Thanks for the comment. @ Terma: Thanks. Lexadin
I like this idea.Pics are ok.Effects are ok, except Conceit. His effect + Dark Room + any other burn effect = OTK. Becouse it inficts damage each time Dark Room inficts it and then Dark Room inflicts damage each time Conceit inficts it, to make an infinite loop.OCG looks good. A 8.5/
