Joe stood firm. Numerous thoughts ran through his head. His anger made him want to attack all four of these monsters at once, but he knew that he couldn't underestimate these monsters. A direct attack without knowing what they're capable of would be suicide, and yet, he couldn't just stand by and give them the first move. And if he were to attack, which one. It couldn't be Atlas, he couldn't bring himself to attack his friend. He knew that Legion was responsible for his friends' condition, and that made Legion the most dangerous. He saw that GriffEnd was fast, and had yet to see what MeteorKnight was capable of.

"Guess it's time to see what we're dealing with". Joseph charged MeteorKnight head on. He leaped up in the air and threw a punch at his head (roll: 14).

MeteorKnight raised his shield arm and canceled out Joseph's attack completely. Joseph felt almost like he hit a brick wall. Almost like he collided with another fist. Whatever that shield was made of, it was as tough as he was. Joseph bounced off a bit and landed a few feet in front of MeteorKnight.

The 3 other Tetrarch's didn't budge to help their comrade, they just watched in amusement.

Caoimhin watched in horror as MeteorKnight easily deflected Joseph's attack like someone swatting a fly. His attention then turned to Atlas. He needs to be sent back into the depths of Tartarus again but would fighting him make Joseph turn from ally to enemy which would not be the best result considering the current position he was in. Caoimhin thought over it for a few seconds till his sense of duty took over the thought of losing his alliance with the others. Caoimhin's falcata appeared in his right hand.

"You're mine Atlas!" he shouted as he ran to his enemy and slashed horizontally at Atlas. (roll: 13)

Atlas maneuvered his massive body and side stepped Caoimhin's attack as gracefully as if it were part of a dance. He then looked down on the relatively small adversary. "You'll need to must much more strength than that little Olympian." Atlas then clenched one of his four hands and threw a punch at Caoimhin (roll: 12).

Sean looked at the damage caused by MeteorKnight and Atlas. The very thought of defeat was imminent. He looked at Joe, and then Caoimhin. He fell to his knees and demorphed. He then lowered his head, saying in a quiet tone, "Father, forgive me. I failed you." He then stood up, his eyes still closed and his head still down. He then opened his eyes. "But that doesn't mean that I will give up!" Suddenly, an emerald green aura began to flow around Sean's body. The emerald then levitated to his hand, where it glowed ominously. "I've been meaning to tap in to the limit of my power, and I'll make sure you all are taken care of!"

Sean raised the emerald up as high as he can, and it created a powerful flash that blinded not just the other rangers, but Vile and the 4 Tetrarchs as well. When the flash ended and everybody's vision was restored, Sean was fully morphed, feeling more powerful than before. "Vile!" he yelled. "You've hurt my friends for the last time! Give me one of the challenges and I'll be sure to take it down!" He made his stance and began to prepare for the worst.

Caoimhin coughed up blood into his helmet' date=' dropping his falcata and falling to his knees. [i']How can he be so strong?[/i] Caoimhin questioned in his mind. He could not believe Vile could make him this powerful. How can i challenge him in my current state, i'm not strong enough to take him down alone...but will Joseph help me? Will he fight the one who helped him gain the Genesis Blade in Tartarus?

Caoimhin picked up his falcata and used it to prop himself back on his feet. "Atlas, you weak-minded fool, even you shouldn't have been taken control of by Vile. You are nothing but a remnant of your former glory. I will take you down for my ancestors and this world i promised Zordon to protect in it's time of need"

Caoimhin leapt up into the air and kicked at Atlas' head. (roll: 2)

Atlas just stood there as Caoimhin foot collided with his face. He didn't even blink. He smirked "Care to try again guardian?"

Joe saw how Caoimhin was faring, but his thoughts were still divided. And more importantly, he had another Tetrarch staring down at him: MeteorKnight. Joe stepped forward calmly. "You know i underestimated you"

"Really" MeteorKnight finally spoke in a monotone robotic voice.

"It won't happen again" Joe promised as he stood directly in front on MeteorKnight. He smirked, "Golden Radiance!!!!" (Roll:18 )

Just then a blinding light erupted from Joe's armor and and explosion engulfed both him and MeteorKnight. Just then a figure went flying out of the blast and crashed through the nearest tree, causing it to topple over.

As the smoke cleared, a tall figure (momentarily surrounded by what appeared to be a light blue aura) emerged. It was MeteorKnight, perfectly unscathed. The tree branches shook a little as Joe tried to climb out of the debris. 'What the heck was that' He thought to himself

Meanwhile Vile laughed at Sean's attempt. "Quite the light show you put on there. But it was all for naught. Let's see if you are any stronger than before?"

GriffEnd stepped forward slowly until he stood in front of Sean. He then screeched in an ear shattering voice "Let's hope you are more of a challenge than those first 3."

Dominic grunted, it's been a while since he was in a proper fight and with countless new tactics to try, this situation was like Christmas to him. He stepped back for a second, holding his arm back as well. Suddenly, a black spark leaped from his palm. More and more were created as Dom was seemingly charging something. Then, the sparks collected and formed a javelin of sorts, filled with some sort of dark matter.

"Well, when you have an infestation it's typically a good idea to start at the source. That is, if the source is some creepy guy who intends on destroying you."

Dominic jumped forward, lobbing the javelin at Vile with sloppy precision. Not that it mattered really.

Before the lance reached Vile, a shadowed claw reached out and snatched the very attack from the air. The shadow returned to legion as the weapon vanished. 'That is not my Master's destiny today little ranger, nor is it your destiny to win this fight' Legion stated to Dom, his voice was slightly sad, as he knew that was going to happen. He had decided it would have anyways. 'Now vanish' Legion commanded and sent his shadow towards Dominic in a large fist. (Roll: 2)

"Oh I see how it is. You all actually have a sense of strategy? I suppose this makes things fun, I guess." Dominic slid to the side to avoid the large fist, making sure to get enough distance encase it exploded. Considering it's Vile, you could never be sure of things. As he dodged, he reared his fist back and prepared to launch himself at Legion's face. Maybe a direct hit would do something if he put some energy into it.

The shadows at legion waist reared up and grabbed Dominic's fist. 'Admireable, however, I knew that was going to happen, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised' Legion said in his own melancholy. The shadows still gripped Dominic by his arm, but parted to give a clear shot at his chest. Legion formed a black sickle and took quick aim. 'This won't kill, I want to play a little bit more' Legion said and slashed Dominic diagonally across his chest. (Roll: 17)

"Do you not know of what I'm capable of now, Vile?" asked Sean in a curious tone. "With my power reaching its limit, I'm now stronger, faster, and more powerful than I was before..." He turned to GriffEnd. "Speaking of faster..." Griff End smirked. "Just try to catch you feline freak!" said GriffEnd in the ear shattering voice again. Sean, not affected by the high sound of his voice, yelled, "That's it! You asked for it King Poultry!" he then began to dash towards GriffEnd and slashed him with his claws.

A second before Sean's claws connected, GriffEnd vanished. Sean claws made a loud swoosh that could be heard from the surrounding areas. They then collided with the ground and made a huge impact about 3 feet deep.

Vile clapped his hands "Very very impressive. I apparently have underestimated you. But I wasn't the only one that underestimated, isn't that right?" Vile asked pointing upwards.

GriffEnd stood suspended in air. He squecked loudly and then touched down on the other side of the crater. "Very impressive indeed. That would of done quite a bit of damage to me. BUT ... were you not listening. I am the master of mobility. And whereas you are truly fast, ... you sadly are limited to only 2 basic directions. Left. Right. Forward. Backward. But me ... i can choose up and down. And any number of variations of these. Sadly ... you don't have what it takes little kitty. But I'm a sporting fellow. KaKaw. I'll give you another free hit."

"That's what you think, Pterodactyl breath!" yelled Sean. Just then, the emerald glowed again, this time, the energy flowing to the claws itself. "Do you not know the rules of fighting an enemy? Never lower your guard!" The claws began to glow and slide off his fingers and going on top, connecting to the small armor gloves on his hands. "Emerald Chain Claw!" Just then, the claws bursted out, with an emerald green energy in the form of chains attached to each claw. Each chain was about 1 meter long, but can stretch to incredible distances. "These claws will match up to your speed, giving me a chance to stop you in your tracks!"

Sean then began to run, the claws dragging on the ground. He then lifted them up, pushed his arms out, one towards GriffEnd and one towards his directional evasion, up. At lightning fast speeds, almost as fast as GriffEnd, the claws were launched in the directions the hands were pushed out. If the first doesn't succeed, than the area of evasion will.

With all four ofthe Tetrarchs occupied, Star was torn between her options. She looked from each of the battles, decidng whether to help her team or go straight for Vile. Deciding on the former, she took aim at the robotic clad Meteor Knght with her bow. Focusing her energy, she aimed for the monster's head and fired, the arrow striking through the air with ease.

"Joe, duck!" She called as the arrow sped towards their opponent. (Roll: 12)

GriffEnd saw the claws coming and decided to toy with Sean a bit more, and wait to dodge at the last moment. He then dodged incredibly fast to the left. One chain went past him and struck the ground, while the one in the air had to target.

GriffEnd laughed. "i told you. I can dodge in an infinite number of directions. So unless you have an infinite number of hands, you're out of luck." GriffEnd laughed again and then was started by something that flashed before his beak. a feather tip. Sean's blades were faster than GriffEnd thought, and one managed to slice off the tip of a feather. This was certainly no significant wound, but it certainly made GriffEnd furious. He then dashed upward with a lightning fast speed, grabbed one of the chains as it was retracting, and pulled Sean in the air after him. He flew round and round, building up enough momentum until he finally flung Sean towards the ground with an earth-shattering thud. (roll: 28 - see OoC thread for details.)

Meanwhile, as Star launched her attack, Joe, who had reentered the fight with MeteorKnight, heard the warning and got out of the way. MeteorKnight immediately lifted his shield and the energy arrow seemed to disintegrate on impact. He then laughed. "I would attack, but i'll give you both one more chance. Then I'll take my move."

Joe ran over to Star to regroup and think of their next attack. It'd have to count

Dominic flinched as Legion took his shot. He fell to his knees, a bit of blood coming from his chest. The wound wasn't deep, he would live from it. The pain on the other hand was something else. He looked up at Legion; well more like glared, and stood up once more. Another spear began to form, this one was slightly bigger. As it finished, he spat at Legion. "Your kind sickens me. Controlling something that shouldn't be controlled. Is that really necessary? Wouldn't Destiny or Fate not be the same if someone was controlling the outcomes?" With that he jumped upward, lobbing the spear down pointblank at Legion.

Legion took the blast head on, smoke scattering everywhere as Legion's shadows released Dominic. There was a brooding hope that it may have struck, except that when the smoke cleared, Legion was completely unharmed. 'If things are not to be tampered with, why then can we tamper with them? You humans fascinate me in that hypocrisy, but it doesn't matter, in the end of course' Legion answered. (Roll: 18)

Dominic was startled, he had put quite a bit of his own energy into that attack and Legion could merely brush it off? He landed a good distance away from Legion. Now that he knew what this guy could do, he wouldn't want to risk another attack. "All the more reason for you to die." Dom paused for a second, "So, if you can control Fate and Destiny, why don't you just kill us? It would be incredibly simple for you, wouldn't it?" He formed two more spears, lobbing them randomly at Legion. With the speed it took to create them, they were much weaker than the others.

Legion captured one of the spears and let the other sail past harmlessly. He regarded the weapon before tossing it away. 'Why don't I kill you? Because Master Vile does not is me too. It is relatively quite simple human. I can be regarded as Master Vile's shadow, I will always be by his side and do as he commands. If he does not wish you dead, then I shall not kill you' Legion answered. (Roll: 12)

Before Sean came in impact with the ground, the emerald glowed again, forming a shield around him and preventing any critical damage. He was damaged, but not enough to severely weaken him. When he got back up and saw he sliced the tip of one of the feathers, he knew he picked the right time to unleash these powers. "You're overreacting to a mere hit on a feather?" asked Sean. "How pathetic."

The chains disintegrated as the claws began shifting back into being parts of his hands again. The emerald glowed again, but this time, the glow began to move across the arms and concentrate in the palms of his hands. The process was a bit slow, but Sean was patient. And because of his increase of speed, he knew this would come in handy. He stared at GriffEnd for a moment, smirking under his helmet. "You think you're fast, watch this!" In mere seconds, Sean rapidly blasted energy balls from his hands in various directions. He knew he got GriffEnd now.

Legion noticed that the green one was trying something, closing his eyes (Does he have ANY!?), he looked into what the destiny of the attack foretold. 'Now, that just won't be too effective when it comes to GriffEND' he stated and casted a look back at Dominic. 'Retreat and heal your wounds, before I decide to me any more' he recommended. Deciding his fight was over, Legion returned to Master Vile's side. 'The Tetrarchs are performing excelently my lord' Legion commented, watching the gold ranger hopelessly fight MeteorKnight. The green ranger using ever trick he had to defeat GriffEND. The hades ranger losing his battle. And finally the black one, taken out by Legion himself.

Griffend was starting to get annoyed. He knew this attack posed little threat to him. Those blasts, while fast, lacked the energy to cause much damage. It didn't even seemed worth it to dodge since none of them were really aimed, and if any were, the majority were a diversion. The full amount of the damage would be slight if anything.

Meanwhile, Joe and Star were having trouble with their adversary. They tried to think of a plan as he approached. He suddenly stopped and looked over at Griffend's impending attack. The cylindrical protrusions on his shoulders started to spin, until finally he fired them at Griffend.

Griffend didn't move and Seans blasts connected and exploded on impact. A huge plum of smoke erupted where Griffend stood. The park was silent as everyone watched. Some looked on and smiled. Oddly, Vile and Legion were two of them. As the smoke cleared, a light blue aura emerged. When the smoke had completely dissipated, it revealed a set of disks in front if Griffend. These were the same disks MeteorKnight shot out. These disks emitted an interconnected chain of magnetic fields. Apparently these fields absorbed the blast. The faded and the disks flew back to MeteorKnight. Oddly enough, MeteorKnight momentarily glowed green, then purple, then gold, then finally the auras faded.

"Yes!" Sean yelled as he thought he got him. But then the smoke cleared, showing GriffEnd, looking as though it didn't effect him, even though it did slightly. "Oh come on! You're really getting on my nerves!" He turned to Joe and Star. "Hey, guys. Can you help out here or something?" He didn't know what to do. He was at his limits. He felt as though he ran out of options. If he is about to die here, then so be it. He knelt down to his knees, put his head down, and demorphed, feeling shame.

"I'm sorry...father." Don't give up yet, son. said an echoed voice that was loud enough for everyone to hear. Sean looked up and asked, "Father?" he stood up and a spiritual figure of Sean's father was shown in front of him. Don't give up, not since you feel like things are different. You have it in you. Your spirit is within you. The Emerald Panther, the spirit of the Speed of Sound. Now go, Sean, and show them the meaning of power! Sean gave a smile as his father's figure faded. Sean clenched his fist. He then called Zedren. "Zedren. Come in! You happen to remodel my spear?" He knew that it was time to use his old weapon again.

Legion was slightly amused by the stunned look that Sean's face had; he watched on at the hopelessness the rangers were in, especially Sean. 'MeteorKnight is nothing short of a marvel Master Vile; but I think we have wasted enough time here, don't you? As much as I understand you want to see the rangers suffer; it seems best now to stop toying with them and take them out. So we may take care of the truly important, that being Loki, Gargantia and Deos. We can leave GriffEND here at least, he doesn't seem to be in mortal peril' Legion suggested, showing what may have been concern.

Vile was enjoying every minute of the one sided battle, but Legion's words were true. "You're right. We've made our point. MeteorKnight, Atlas, fall back and leave this to GriffEnd" he commanded.

Atlas looked down on Caoimhin, "get stronger young one. Let's see if you truly can claim you're destiny." Atlas then walk over towards Vile and stood by his side.

MeteorKnight lowered his shield arm and headed over towards Vile. "My lord. Allow me to finish them all now. Save GriffEnd the trouble. You know of my second ability."

"Yes MeteorKnight, but save that for Gargantia. Put it to more proper use." MeteorKnight nodded to Vile's words and took his place next to Legion. "Well rangers, it's been fun. And I guess this is time to say goodbye. So ... goodbye." he then turned into the purple and gold energy serpents again. They flew around the 3 Tetrarchs twice and then they all disappeared.

GriffEnd faced the rangers, "So are any of you going to make this more interesting, or is this going to be like a babysitting job?
