OMG!i love my latest splice, i just love the awesome blue flames that come from its back!

here ive added gastly gas around voltorb, and put haunter hands with it..i also recoloured the hands and gas to match the dark shades of voltorbs bottom part..

at -pichu-'s request i have done chikorita+pichu+shinx...i have added shinx tail, and pichu ears onto chikorita...although i have done chikorita's colour...

at ANBU_Leader's request i have done a glalie+spheal+shelgon splice!

how i made it--_i used shelgon eyes instead of glalies for the base pokemon(glalie), and i extended shelgon legs a bit for legs, i also used spheal teeth instead of glalies...

my first legendary splice, moltrecudos! yes, the 3 leg. birds, its moltres+articuno+zapdos! i loove how it came out! i especialy love the blue flames!

how i made it--_i gave moltres articuno legs, then gave it zapdos beak...i then put zapdos colours onto it, after that, my favourite, i put articuno colours for the flame!

made with zapdos. articuno, and moltres from dragonflycave.com/hgssspritegen.aspx ("click here for a pokemon sprite site" link in my sig)...

i just used that tool to use the colours on voltorb upper body and recoloured the arms..

The arms on Voltorb are too far to the right, just look dropped onto it's side, being as it's a 3D ball, try making the arms match it's 3D-ness.

 

As for Charciquil, simple technique, and not too exciting and doesn't really give a good effect anyway D=

 

Try some different pokemon.

 

Practice with Geodude+Shroomish or something, get two similar body types and make the appearance look like it's both.

 

Best thing to do is get the one unique special feature from one pokemon, and add it or replace it with another pokemon.

Ok I'm not going to go into extensive detail, but I saw you mention black bordering. You can't go adding a black border around the entire sprite. You need to keep the borders intact, and to recolor them to the proper colors. A black border around the entire thing goes against the rules of Pokemon Sprites.

 

Also if recoloring is taking you so long, I highly suggest you learn to use the eraser tool to recolor. It shouldn't take too long to recolor. Find a tutorial. Not to advertise, but if you find my stickied one in the tutorial section, I cover how to recolor properly there.

You can use the same Pokemon. However if you're going to make an exact duplicate, don't bother posting it, as you wouldn't really be able to accept that much credit for it. You're free to make a duplicate to get the idea, just do it for practice.

Sorry, there is nothing I can recommend. A good splice isn't necessarily about the pieces, but how it is done.

..ive done about...6 now but 2 i forgot to save and i frogot what they where...i was gonna do pichu ears on pikachu then maybe a raichu tail on pikachu...shall i still do it?
