Well they were last saved as .png, and uploaded as .png, but somewhere you messed something up. My bet is you possibly at an earlier date saved them as non .png. Later you went back, saw the mistake, and tried fixing them. Generally if you at all save them as something else, it ruins it forever. Although some people get lucky and can reopen the file and still have it be normal. If this isn't the case, perhaps your uploading source altered it in some way.

-------------------------

I'm now attending to the Fakemon of my region. I first did the grass guy, but then later, at school, I had nothing to do. I was doodling, trying to figure out how to fix my very horrible fire starter. I was finally able to conceive and idea, and here it is. So I skipped the grass starter family and did the fire starters, they needed the attention more anyways. They aren't quite the same as the previous ones, but at the same time they are. The new story is that an evil spirit harbors a doll. Eventually the said evil spirit attracts hate and ill willed feelings. This eventually causes the doll to burn. Fire-Fire/ghost-Fire/ghost still. I like this guy a lot better. Also I thought for a moment that perhaps this guys story is too 'brutal' for Pokemon, but hey, Pidgey's eat Caterpie, Houndoom's howl is said to be the grim reaper coming, Dribloom tries to abduct children. I think he fits right in =P.

The one in the top right corner is one with borders. I liked the one without, but I kept that one just to show it off.

I can already see I need to work a little bit more on the transition. My plan right now is to take the middle form, add more flames and stuff, so it's closer to the last stage. Unless people think it's fine the way it is.

You need to save your splices as PNG file.

What are PNG files? How are they any different from BMT files?

.PNG is a file type. They are ideal for sprites. They keep all the pixels the colors you made them. Generally they do take up more file room for this, but that's worth it. You can tell something isn't .PNG because of how it looks. A sprite that isn't saved as .png becomes distorted. The pixels dont' remain the same color, you can't edit it, fine details are lost, and overall it looks blurred and wrecked.

While saving for the first time, while assigning a name, you should see a drop down box on the save window, below it will list some file types. It will say some stuff like .Jpeg, .gif, and others. The important one you want is .png. Make sure that when you save for the first time it is as .png. If you save as something else, it could ruin the image forever if you don't.

[spoiler=Why I came back]

1) I couldn't keep a club up. I failed miserablly.

2) I have cooled down. I am (surprisingly) a person who makes drastic decisions

3) I am bored out of my mind.

Accepted.
