  1. 1. Is Yami Yuugi's Punishment For Losing His Games Cruel and Unusual?

On youtube, i've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh Season 0 Episodes. Then at school, we were doing the amendments. Then i've been thinking...is Yami Yuugi's punishments cruel and unusual? Although it's in Japan, it would be illegal.

[spoiler=Amendment #8]

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

Do you think Yami Yuugi's punishments are cruel and unusual?

[spoiler=One Punishment]

A guy who was obsessed with watches stole a "D-Shock" watch from Honda-kun who was holding it for Miho-chan. Yuugi played a game with him, and he lost (guy who was obsessed). His punishment was the illusion that he became a clock himself. Part of his hand was ripped, showing gears. His watches were fused into his skin and when his glasses moved down to show his eyes, it shows that his eyes became clocks itself.

Well' date=' the guy shouldn't have stolen that watch in the first place.

If he didn't steal that watch, he wouldn't have been screwed over so bad.

Also, why do these people agree to play Yami's games anyway? They could just shoot him or something.

It's the same reason why everyone wants to take over the world using ancient magic and children's card games. Guns are overrated. Unless they are invisible.

lol, I wonder what would happen if Season 0 has been dubbed?

Also, losing the YAMI NO GAMEs are used as punishments for their greed, that they would show what it really felt like.

First one was with Ushio, as he was obsessed with greed, had the money changed with cards and fell into a pool with monsters.

If it has been dubbed, then 4KIDS had to give a damn about Season 0.

No for three reasons

1) They are in f***ing Japan' date=' so the American Bill of Rights desn't affect them

2) Yami Yugi is an Egyptian spirit imprisoned in a short 15 year old, so he probably has never even heard of the 8th ammendment

3) Laws and rules do not cover Magic, so it is a moot point
