Also Cheese, While Jester Confit, Infernal Prodigy, Fiend's Sanctuary and similar cards provide instant tributes for Monarchs, Cydra is infinitely better due to the fact that it is aggressive and powerful regardless of whether or not you're going to tribute it. Cydra can literally be splashed into any aggressive deck to put pressure on your opponent and use up their resources faster at a time when they'd rather save them for later. It is one of the few cards that you can use to overextend without screwing yourself over too badly advantage wise. I suppose the lv5 easy-synchro ability is a factor, too.

True, I was adding on the insane usability for Monarchs.

Looking back on my Pojo 05 guide (lolPojo), in the era of unlimited CyDra, any tribute monster under 2100 was automatically bad/unplayable. Even though it is Pojo, they did have a point, CyDra is splashable, good, a 1-1, and gives you an easy 2100 beatstick.

@csaman3, Even with our lowered standards they are still high. Although not so much for the Apprentice rank, but even then you have to have SOME knowledge of the game. Your deck does not demonstrate that as most of the cards have little to no synergy and there is no underlying strategy.

 

Verdict: No

 

@yu-gi-ohfan, we only accept the elite, although that does not hold for Apprentices, you still did not raech our standards for that rank, we will not help you UNTIL you become an Apprentice.

 

@Star, I know that isn't your real deck. Lulz. Although after the wave of bad entries, I'm tempted to say yes.

hmm see, nowa days cydra isnt really amazing!, if it was at 3 only monarch decks would use it as tribute fodder! its also hardly "aggressive" to the extent its being portrayed, arnt we forgettign that mearly 2 weeks ago, tele dad easily summoned 2-3 synchros first to second turn!

 

sure thats dead now, but glad beasts are eaqually if not more agressive!

 

and cydra cant really be splashed into any deck, take lightsworn glads or teledad cydra couldnt fit into any of them as there just isnt enough room!

 

back in the days where cydra was used at 3, it was because there wasnt much else to add to decks

 

but the game has moved on, and things have progressed and a 2100 beatstick isnt much anymore!

Agreed, also, Cydra was broken in aggro and Chimera OTK

 

Ban Overload, and Overload in Cydra should be at 3

However I now need to reinstall Linksys but I cant find the CD so I got no internet. Im on my friends comp now just letting you guys know why Im off. Anyway Ill be able to be on today and for some of tomorrow but after prolly not till I can find the Linksys CD. Really fast though heres the decklist for a GB deck Ive built that since has only lost 1 match since I built it' date=' which includes 4 tournaments and I know Ive told Cheese how my locals are so its some credit to the deck ;)

I don't know much about GB's but from what I've seen, with only 1 Bestiari, you want to play a much more control orientated build rather than Gyzarus turbo.

While it looks like its Gyzarus turbo its got a lot of control in it. It does get out Gyzarus several times in a row but it also plays a lot of control. Plus they crow the Bestiari I got Herak still and Herak + Chariot + Solemn = scoop phase
