I noticed something...

I have noticed people saying stuff like "No attachments, you n00b!" "Shut up and stop spamming, you complete n00b!" "Read the rules, noob!" "You're as dumb as a n00b!"

Here is 1 thing to say: They can't help it.

Everyone started out as a newbie once (except YCMaker). So, people always start out with a little trouble around the site, until someone takes the time to tell a newbie how things go around here. I'm sick of people making fun of newbies.

There is no reason to report them, either. They are new. Leave them with a warning. If you do, tell them what they did wrong, and how they can fix it. Reporting a 4 star member for doing something wrong is reasonable, but I believe 1-2 stars should get some slack. Who agrees?

[b']People says those things so they can highten their own ego and try to make themselve's "EPIC" when really they are just being just as dumb as we stereotype "n00bs" for.[/b]

Actually, it would be their fault and problem that they did not read the rules of the site before posting.

Everyone started out as a newbie once (except YCMaker).

I can assure you that YCMaker was not born with the knowledge that it takes to "not-be-a-n00b." He had to learn it as well. It's just like an infant growing into an adult, you have to learn how to not be something before you can be something else.

So, people always start out with a little trouble around the site, until someone takes the time to tell a newbie how things go around here. I'm sick of people making fun of newbies.

Well, this just sounds like a personal problem. If you don't like people making fun of you, then have the sense to just walk away. Or just ignore them. If they hurt your feelings, remember this. On the internet, your feelings are the only thing that others can touch. They cannot touch you physically, but only mentally, and it shouldn't be that big of a deal. You do not know these people personally, so their is no point in trying to tell them what is right and what is wrong. Or in this case, what you are sick of and what you prefer.

There is no reason to report them, either. They are new. Leave them with a warning. If you do, tell them what they did wrong, and how they can fix it. Reporting a 4 star member for doing something wrong is reasonable, but I believe 1-2 stars should get some slack.

Already been said, still is not happened. I've counted that this advise has been repeated atleast 100 times in the history of YCM and nothing has been done about it.

Who agrees?

You have a good motive, but you lack persuasive skills. So, no.

Yes. But YCMaker was never a newbie. When you make a website, you are forced to be Admin. So, that proves he was never a newbie. And explain me this. Why is he 7 star when he only has 440 posts? Because he was forced to be Admin. Enough of that. Anyway, who agrees with that newbies should get some slack?

No, he chose to make the site, so he chose to administrate it, so he chose to have 7 stars when he has less than 500 posts. He could also choose to leave the site and assign someone else with his job. It's as simple as that.

What on earth do you hope to accomplish with this topic? As with your earlier topic whining about how people were "improperly" using the word "spam" (even though the usage was correct), you don't seem to be doing anything beyond venting.

Also, if idiots act like idiots, they need to be informed of their idiocy.
