Saturn of Elemia
Let's discuss the Blue Bomber in all his glory - original AND X. Which series was your favorite? Which game was your favorite? Which boss(es) was/were your favorite? Have at it! 8)
.Requiem
Ah the classics some of the best of megaman. Some of the BNWS was a joke compared to some of theses.
Saturn of Elemia
Mega Man 3 was the best game of the originals for one single reason - it was the LONGEST of the originals. You had to fight the original 8 bosses, then the 8 bosses from Mega Man 2, then a fake Protoman, THEN Wily's Castle. Mega Man 9 was a big disappointment, personally. For all the hype, they could've done SO much more with it. They should've done what they did in Mega Man 3 except take a boss from each previous game. .Requiem
Well they couldn't think of anything, so they took bosses from the old games and created this random transformation between them.
Saturn of Elemia
They didn't really do that great of a job, either. The only unique Robot Master was Splash Woman. All the rest were just...boring. This is why they should take ideas from the fans - like they did in an early issue of Nintendo Power. (That's how they got the idea for Knight Man and Wind Man for Mega Man 6)
.Requiem
Well if they took ideas from fans then the game would be 10x better.
Saturn of Elemia
Yup, and yet game companies just don't seem to understand that concept very well. The bosses that were listed in that Nintendo Power were just freaking awesome. Glue Man was my personal favorite. If I remember right, he used his Glue Shot to hold you in place until he got close enough to headbutt you with his spiked helmet. On another note, has anyone noticed that there's a Gutsman reference in every Mega Man game? It's a nice constant theme. Wily has his favorite picked out, that's for sure. It even shows in Mega Man 7 when Wily stole Guts Man from the Robot Museum out of all the other potential candidates.
.Requiem
Wait glue who, never seen him before. Well he is in every megaman game including the new games. With the chips.
Saturn of Elemia
The most popular reincarnation of Guts Man is the Guts Tank. Concrete Man from Mega Man 9 is almost a carbon copy. Guts Man is fun to play as in Mega Man: Powered Up for the PSP, though.

That's already pushing it. Anymore, and you may as well just make it freakin' 3d. Also, MM2, which many people (myself not included) consider to be better than MM2, has roughly the same length as MM9. Seeing as how they BLUNTLY said that they were trying to make this game like MM2, you really couldn't expect it to be the longest game in the world. In that case, you may as well call every other Robot Master in the series unoriginal. *Sorry if I seem kinda rude. I'm trying not to be. I just find urges to speak up when someone doesn't like a game that I like and actually GIVE reasons, unlike other people who'd probably just be like "MEGAMAN 9 IS FAIL!!! Larxene
I never liked Mega Man all that much. The gameplay is okay, but Mega Man looks like a jabroni, and so do all the bosses.

Guest JoshIcy
I liked MMX4 a lot.It had Animated Cutscenes, difficult bosses, multiple routes for some stages, and a great learning curve. But it left a lot to be desired. The same could say for MMX8. It had a lot, but once you get Zero's Weapons, replay value drops like a stone in water. Not to mention, the Ride Stages were harder than all hell.

He sounds like a whiner in X4. But his voice in Mega Man X7 sounds much better. Guess X must've hit 'puberty' or something during X5 and X6 (most noticible in X6 since his Japanese voice sounds really cool). At least it's not as bad as Cammy from Street Fighter (she's had like 5 or 6 different voice actresses) Zero's voice has always been cool.Axl's voice has too much of a nasal sound to it and gets rather annoying.
