Bad Rulings - The Discussion

Recommended Posts

here,we diss-cuss S*** rulings we have had handed to us.

mine,and this is a doozy:

The scene is as follows.I am playing my last match of the TDGS sneak.I'm 3-2.This one could land me in top 8.

He has Goyo out, final game (i beat him once,he beat me once).

My only cards out are F/D,a Mind Protector and a Telekinetic Power.

He attacks. My Mind Protector hits the Grave, and i play T-Power.I call a judge to be sure.He looks at the scene.i explain it,and my opinion. The Fudge calls it that i'm screwed and can't activate it because apparently,

MIND PROTECTOR IS NOT A PSYCHIC-TYPE MONSTER.

You already mentioned that in another thread. If you didn't, then somebody gave the same situation with the same ruling. That really sucks. I once actually got 2 crappy rulings in one Sneak Preview, both of which I had stated in another thread:

1. I was using my Crystal Beast deck. I had 4 CB Continuous Spells out and my opponent had 5 cards. I activate Crystal Abundance. He chains Dust Tornado to destroy one of my Crystal Beast Continuous Spells. The judge ruled in favor of my opponent.

2. Okay, this one isn't really as much a ruling problem and I didn't call a judge, I just let it go because I thought it was funny. I was using my Mataza Whack deck against a Cloudian deck. He summoned Turbulence, it gained 1 Fog Counter, then he used it to summon Smoke Cloud. He set a card and ended his turn. When I went to attack, he used The League of Uniform Nomenclature to summon 3 different Cloudians from his Deck. None of those were normal, but one of them was Eye of the Typhoon. I told them that he couldn't do that. He just said "They all have the same name: Cloudian." I let it go, even though they only have the same title. I ended up owning him with my 7000 point combo. He probably didn't have a Spirit Barrier or Sanctuary in the Sky, because I could get a lot of damage done by attacking his 800 ATK Cloudians.

Okay, so really only one crappy ruling.
