Printing Problem (Low Quality)

I just can't seem to print a decent looking card.

 

I got the real size of the card, but whenever I print, the "effect" text of the monster or spell is barely readable.

 

I tried resizing in two different ways : one via a website that resizes pics, and two via Photoshop CS3. When I resized it, I saved it at the maximum quality. I printed using a Canon PIXMA iP1000.

 

I have a Lexmark 3400 Series printer as well although I don't know how to operate it.

Maybe, sharpen the image, or something.

 

The point of this site I think is to share your custom creations, not just print them.

I've seen tons of threads here regarding printing the custom cards. The only problem is none of them target my problem.

The cards aren't meant to be printed, that is your problem.

Why print it anyways, it just wastes ink?

 

But whatever, that's the prob anyway. it's using to much ink, so you can't read.
