yes i knon the bottem of 1 of its leg is missing

When you recolor the sprite, don't fill everything in the way you did.

You took out 2-3 shades with black. You use the color tool to get lighter or darker shades.

You also did not finish recoloring the 'spikes', as there is a random, ill-fitting color mixed in with the rest of the sprite.

There are un-recolored blue borders.

You cropped off part of the front-left 'foot'.

The head is simply pasted on with part of the 'necklace' missing.

I bet this Sucks' date=' The wing is like that on purpose. As it's supposed to have 2 different colored wings.

Don't use yellow as a border for a black.

You have green pixels on the dustox wing.

You have a green blotch underneath the beautifly wing that has no use.

There is a line with a ball on it next to the green blotch.

There is a light green pixel on the shoulder closer to the beautifly wing.

The random blue on the beautifly wing is ill-fitting.

Your yellow pixels on the forehead don't belong.

Don't border reds with a light shade of black.

You removed borders on the dustox wing.

Shading tutorial finished!!!
Shading Tutorial ]

When Pokemon splicing or recoloring, it important that you make the image look as real and as 3-D as possible.

Each Pokemon sprite has shading already added, as in the following example:

Let's look at that zoomed in:

Where do you think the light, or the light source is? Well, look at the lighter spot on the top of Voltorb and the shading on the bottom. From the shading, we can tell that the light is somewhere in the top-left corner.

Now, bear in mind, and this is very important, not all Pokemon sprites have the same shading!

This means that, If you want to make a Pokemon splice, the pieces you add on may not have the same shading.

Say, for example, that you splice Voltorb with Geodude's arms. While Voltorb's light source in the top-left corner, Geodude may have its light source in the bottom-left corner. If you splice on Geodude and make no changes to the shading on the arms, your splice's arms will have one light source while your body will have another.

Also, when splicing or recoloring, do not erase the shading! That will make your sprite look 2-D!!

It is very important that you check the light sources of the Pokemon you're splicing and change the shading accordingly!
