Went back over the border to try to make it the right shade

 

 

The flame on the tail should resemble the flame on the head. Try adding rocks sticking out of the tail, and then a constant length of rock up to the flame. And maybe make he shoulder pads and bone plates on the arms and legs stone so that it doesn't just look like a recolor.

So I finally got back from spring break... and I was bored today... so I scratched a Fakemon. It's going to be a bug electric with an emphasis on the special side and hp.

yea, figured i needed to work on shading more so ive been focusing on revamps.

 

Its a good idea to take out the infant.

 

Im thinking...swampert or blaziken legs.

ok...went and did a more complex ver. and didn't like the onyx horn to much so i replaced it with absol....used Charmeleon instead of Charizard's fire.

And Tyranitar for the colors, legs, and stomach.

 

 

thinking of taking Tyranitar's tail instead of absol's.....and getting rid of the fire all together

 

as for revamps....i think im getting better at that too.

The revamp: Don't make all of the borders black. Make some dark green where the skin is light green and use dark blue where the skin is lighter blue. Also, use a bit of Bulbasaur's red for the eyes and for the mouth.

yea i didn't do anything to the red/blue bulbasaur's border or eyes. I might go back and change it.

Edit: Changed the Tail, yea i know the tail sucks...i had to combine the two tails and then fill in the spaces where they didn't connect.

If your going to use that leg off of mewtwo at that angle, your going to need to scratch the part hidden by Mewtwo's body. Otherwise, it looks like a disfigured limb. You also need to work on reshading, if only a little bit.

AAAUUUGGHH!!!!! PLEASE recolor borders! There are some dark blue borders on the tan! Fix it now!

On the Crobat + Mewtwo one, just throw away the one with Crobat's body.

The Mewtwo one looks nice! Notice the shading and where the light source is. Some parts should be casting shadows on other parts..

on the chest, the other sprite that i used for the base[can never spell the name] the lighting is opposite that the tyranitar. but the fire red sprite isn't. So....im gonna remake this with the other sprite to fix the lighting.
