E-Hero Kyle
Use Palatino Linotype for old versions of booster packs if you don't have the Matrix font use NeoSans Black for 5D's For effects use Outer Glow, Gradient Overlay and maybe try Bevel and emboss
.Requiem
You don't get the same interface with PS 3 for gimp. So bevel and emboss effects don't really work on gimp.
~ Chidori-Kun
How? That is the question
.Requiem
Well the best thing to do on gimp, maybe use some filters. Then make your text seem 3d to a agree, but can make look interesting. I checked, you get bevel and emboss, but don't get the same results with gimp. .Requiem
Always do your text first, then maybe use the gradient like what E-hero said something in that order.
~ Chidori-Kun
Outer glow is Where in GIMP? I can find soft Glow but not outer glow
.Requiem
It is the same as adding border. First I think make the text rendered then you add a border.
Uchiha
Use Georgia then Scale so it looks taller.Outer Glow: Duplicate Text Layer. Gaussian Blur X15 Y15 Colorize>Max Out White.Emboss: Map>BumpMap: Depth needs to be used to liking. Change the invert/revert to where the lightsource is then: Use the IWarp tool and make it swirve. Right click Text Layer in Layers Dialog and hit ALpha to selection. Ctrl+I Then Cut the swirve layer. Move to liking.
