Tronta Posted February 16, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 well, it can be used on any kind of summon that doesnt start a chain.maybe i need clarification on how it does. is it because of the secondary effect then? the burn/token part i mean. nephthys also cannot be solemned when its revived by its own effect. but i dont think thats for his m/t nuking. elaborate if you will. If it were a Summon effect, it would only be usable during the Main Phase of its controller, which is rather obviously not the case. nephthys also cannot be solemned when its revived by its own effect. but i dont think thats for his m/t nuking. If so, no. Voltanis is not Summon either, so no. Look at it this way: if a self-Special Summon effect would be activated in the same way as a Normal Spell would be activated or a Normal Summon would occur - from the hand to the field, during your own Main Phase, not in response to anything - then it is probably Summon.
