For some reason' date=' the one on the left is the best looking. I am confused about this because that one may be the Grass starter.

That's because it's a giant mind game. It really is the fire starter.

Meh, I don't care so much what the first forms look like. Show me the final then I'll be happy.

Also if the fire one ends up being the pig looking thing I'm going to rage.

I have a question to pose for you guys. Is "shiny" a fan-made term, or has Nintendo/Game Freak ever acknowledged a Pokemon as being "shiny"? I was having this debate on Serebii, and I could not find any sources for either side.

In-game, "shiny" would be a misnomer for "shiny" Pokemon, so they call it "alternate-colored" or something to that effect. But is the official term shiny, or something else?

Prima Guides are bullshit and do not cite them for anything. <_<

I believe the official term is "alternate-colored", as you mentioned.

I think that is the official name too, but as you said I haven't seen evidence either way.

GRASS STARTER IDEAS

-Dinosaur

-Plant Cat Thing?

-Gecko

-Turtle

FIRE STARTER IDEAS

-Dinosaur Lizard Thing

-Flaming Mouse Thing

-Bird/Chick

-Monkey

WATER STARTER IDEAS

-Turtle

-Alligator

-Salamander?

-Penguin

I don't think it would be that hard to find more ideas.

After reading everybody else's thoughts' date=' I have come up with my own.

Middle could be this rabbit-thing, with the ear/leaves on its head.

Right could be Piplup with a unibrow.

Left could be a mermaid thing.

Has everyone forgot about Treeko? It's a Grass-Type Gecko.
