Brushfire
I see what you're getting at Dark, and you are right. Btw, I'm not "out of luck", I can't stand Kanto now I've played it so many times. I'm thinking it may be featured slightly in Gen. V, though I hope not. Godot
Well, the first images of Gen V are up. So yay. I already like how the game looks, and hopefully Nintendo and GF don't screw it over. Brushfire
Upon seeing the new Screenshots on Serebii, I have to say I'm very impressed. They're going for a realistic, modern approach including somewhat proportional buildings and cars (about time too). The new Pokémon center looks great, as does that City. I look forward to it's release.

Also, it seems like they added Text Bubbles and such. Well, Pokemon Sunday should have at least 1 more new thing to add later on today.

Brushfire
Side from the fact it might take me a little to get use to the new graphics they do look great. Only natural, though. It's a change from the usual route that they took with all the other games, though DPPt took some getting used to as well.
Dark
The graphics are just... I honestly can't believe this isn't for the 3DS. :/ I see what you're getting at Dark' date=' and you are right. Kanto is getting stale, but I love capturing Mewtwo. <3 Upon seeing the new Screenshots on Serebii' date=' I have to say I'm very impressed. Phantom Roxas
Okay, with those graphics, they need to trade up to the 3DS.
Flame Dragon
Okay' date=' with those graphics, they need to trade up to the 3DS.[/quote'] They could be making it with the 3DS in mind, but are also making it work for the normal DS
Catman25
The graphics look amazing, especially the city. This new battle scene looks questionable though. =/
Astro Dude
I think we can also expect the return of Pal Park, and a few cameos form characters of games past.
EliminateHRN
Since we already have a Black and White thread, I'm going to bring another topic up. I have two questions. On honey trees in Diamond/Pearl, if you soft reset, could you get a shiny pokemon? I know the gender and level could change, and I know the pokemon won't change, but could you get a shiny pokemon from that? And the last question, how useful is Aipom/Ambipom? I caught one on the honey trees and I was just wondering how good it is exactly. Also, the screenshots look awesome.
Zexaeon
One thing I must point out - Gen IV featured a lot of evolutions for Gen II / Gen I Pokemon. Additionally, Jasmine, from Gen II, made a cameo in Sunnyshore. Then GSC got remade. In HGSS, Steven Stone makes two cameos, and almost all of the Gen III Legendaries are catchable with relative ease (as opposed to Gen IV Legendaries, which were somewhat sparse, and difficult to obtain (You needed an Event Arceus just to get one of the Dragon Trio)). Given this subtle evidence, I can be confident in a Gen III remake coming soon.
Dark
Yes, iirc, you can soft reset for shinies on Honey Trees. And competitively, Ambipom is a good UU lead. But in-game, it's lacking, because you won't really use Baton Pass or Fake Out that often.
Phantom Roxas
Zex, the RS remakes probably won't come out until after Gray, or whatever they're going to call the third Generation V game.
Flame Dragon
Since most of my friends don't play pokemon competitively I made a NU team to use against them. The way I look at it, this team won't destroy them. I got a couple of matches on shoddy under a new account and it did well. So thoughts on it? Zexaeon
=O But Miltank is good. Like, really good. When did she drop into NU? @Rox: That's what I meant. Also, let's play a game! =P I'll name off the 6 Pokemon on my UU Team I am currently using. And you all have to try and guess the moves they're using~ I won't tell you to guess EVs, because I'm not a Smogon-copypasta, so you probably won't be able to just guess what they are. Anyone game~? -Berserker-
I suppose the manga will have a new chapter with characters named after the games. I imagine: Both characters are named Jack, so they are called by their last names (Black & White) to difference them. For the screenshot, I can say the main character can also be named Jaden, so the rival can be Chazz.
