Jirachi and Togekiss both say hi. Dunsparce will need some ridiculous stats to break into top OU. An evo would probably start off in OU and drop to BL or UU like Tangrowth, Cress, and Yanmega.

Likewise, Gyarados also has a field day and MixMence can find very little opposition in this team. This team is also very Scizor weak since it can U-Turn and hit almost everyone pretty hard with it sans MysticGar and Magnezone.

Lucario is an over all pain of a pokemon. After 1 SD it can destroy most pokemon since anything that would out speed dies to Extreme Speed while everything else takes massive damage off of CC. Gyara can't really kill Las unless it has Ice Fang even after the +1. Scizor is also an all around pain.

 

The first thing I would suggest is to lose the Blissey since TTar tanks special attacks really well and Blissey is usually a large punching bag. Yours also lacks either Flamethrower or Ice Beam to take care of Mence and Scizor.

I'd never say T-Tar can't take special hits' date=' I've used one as a Special wall for some time, but mine was built to take them. A normal T-Tat can't do that to well. And even if it could you still take massive damage from one of the most come special based attacks, Surf. I've personally never like Bliss, but for when it's used it should have Ice Beam or Thrower.

 

I would fill that empty slot with a stall breaker Gliscor to counter non-Ice Punch Lucario. Ice Punch Lucario can be revenge killed, but Gliscor can wall non-Ice Punch Luc which is really good.

Cor makes for a great Cario counter and a great physical tank. If you were to make a switch that would be a good one.

 

The last thing I would suggest is switching Magnezone for Heatran. The set is really your choice but I would go with a Rest-Talk set as a reliable switch in to Breloom to eat the sleep. Then Gengar can come in and pick away at Breloom. Specifically' date=' I would go with the following Heatran set:

If he were to go with the set you posted you really would need to switch. If he were to it would give Loom a free sub so on his next move he'll kill what ever you may switch in or cause massive damage.

 

I guess I should have give more input on the team but TBQH I've never looked to in depth when I make teams. Even when I've tried I always have some problems that come up simply because no team can be bullet proof (lol bad Scizor reference)

Looks like it would stay Normal or gain Bug, Ground, or Dragon. But no matter what type it ends up (if it gets an evolution) it will end up being a ferocious beast.

@FD, I've been doing some RMT stuff on Smogon lately. But when I don't get walls of text to work with, it makes it harder to respond with walls of text. TTar can take special hits well enough to revenge kill or trap. He ain't walling anything for sure. But Blissey almost never contributes anything to a team without Ice Beam or Flamethrower. The Tran set could theoretically RestTalk on the sub to mess with the loom. I find that the main counter to loom however, is to not give it a chance to switch in. The constant threat of a strong attacker or something with taunt or a flying move can pressure people to leave loom on the bench. Nothing is a sure fire counter sans Honchkrow but he's iffy in OU.

 

@Zex, Both Rachi and Togekiss are extremely versatile as well. Rachi can pull of SubCM, Scarf hax, Scarf Revenge killing, tanking, wish passing, etc. I see Dunny's evolution ending up exactly like Tangrowth though. Used in the beginning for improved stats and the new factor, but fades away for more familiar things like Celebi. Just my two cents.

Good point with T-Tar. However unless it has leftovers the damage will build up.

 

That really is the best way to keep counter Loonm, but the problem is getting it to work. Loom has just the right type to come in on some common moves and if it's slower then it (+ Speed Nature and max speed EVs out runs all base 80 pokemon unless they use + speed nature, Gyara is a great example of a pokemon he can out speed.) your going to loss a pokemon no matter what you do. Even Krow can fall if the Loom has Stone Edge.

While this likely to just fade into the backround it could end up like Kiss.

 

On a side note I hate the haxs pokemon. To be able to hit a lot of pokemon for decent damage while the opponent can only watch as you down all their pokemon because they can't get in an attack is just uncool. This is really true for Scarf Rachi.

Speaking of haxing, I experimented with a Special Dunny in UU. Freeze-haxing with Blizzard is fun~

 

 

Still though Tekken, as far as Serene Grace pokemon goes, Dunsparce is easily the most capable pokemon in the game at abusing it. It just lacks the stats to back it up. I doubt it'd be like Tangrowth, mainly because I imagine a Dunsparce evolution would probably outclass Togekiss.

 

Jirachi will still have his uses, of course, but Togekiss, with its inferior movepool and versatility, would probably fall to the wayside if the Dunny evolution's stats were at least on par with Kiss's. And logically, looking at his stats, I see Dinsparce having a higher potential ATK or Sp.ATK, all depending on nature / EVs than Togekiss. It'll probably also gain the flying type, giving it likely access to Air Slash - just one more flinch move at its disposal.

Any way I get the Grass/Fire and Dragon/Fire, but I don't think I've ever seen a Dark/Fighting and I can't really imagine one so have you seen any that could give me an idea what it could look like. If you can't that fine since trying to think up different type comboes is fun.

 

Also we need another Electric/Water type or need Lanturn to get an evo.

Take the weakness of the two types and combine them. So that would be Bug, Fighting, Grass, Ground and Water.

 

In short it would suck unless it has a damn good move set and stats.

Steel, Grass, and Electric. Resistances are a big part of any defensive or tanky pokemon. Offensive wise it gets Fire STAB which is always nice, however a Grass STAB is rather mediocre. There are only a few Grass types in OU, Celebi and Breloom instantly spring to mind, however each has a niche which it fills nicely in order to stay there. Celebi has an amazing support movepool and useful resistances while Breloom has Spore and Poison Heal making it one of the hardest pokemon to counter.

It could make a for a decent sweeper. STAB moves hitting 7 different types for 2x damage is a nice thing.

 

Electrice Dragon would be a good defensive pokemon. Hell it works good for offence too since both are good offensive types as well. Still I like Steel/Dragon more.
