Flame Dragon
I forget' date=' are team fixes in this topic, or is there another topic to post them in?[/quote']Yea, this is the topic for team fixes. I haz question. Does 5th Gen mean they're making another Generation of pokemon. If so' date=' it better not SUCK like the 4th.[/quote']Yea. The 4th gen did not suck in the least. It is one of the best gens, IMO it is the best gen. It gave so many old bad pokemon good new evos, a lot of good new pokemon, gave a lot of the weaker types better moves, and the split of the ATK and Sp ATK use. And odn't say anything about the sprites please. A side from a handful of odd balls this gen looked great.
Xing
IMO the 4th was a piece of sheet that crawled up Nintendo's ass and died. In all of about 2 seconds. The pokemon looked ugly, and were terrible knock-offs of the originals.Bulbasaur & Evos = PlantTurtwig & Evos = Tree That's the only difference between the 2. And more. And IMO all of the 4th are ugly looking. I just scrolled through a list of them all, not 1 was appealing.

And how many REALLY are "knock-offs." Their are huge difference's between Bulbasaur & Evos and Turtwig & Evos. For starters Bulb and family is part poison, Wig's finale form, and I think second, are ground. Side from that they have totally different stats and move sets. They don't even look that much a like. Bulb doesn't look anything like a turtle, Wig does. When you look at the final forms Tor still looks like a turtle. Plus he isn't just a tree, he looks like a walking continent. And even if your point is valid, how does that make the whole 4th gen bad? Also here is a pokemon that can't be viewed as bad looking in the least. Lucario. Phantom Roxas
Magmortar, Probopass, and Lickylicky are probably the worst looking of the generation, but Lucario, Gallade, and Infernape are among the best.
Brushfire
Yeah, Roxas is right. But I have to say this, because imo it's quite true: If you play the games for the games, then Generation 4 was horrible. The vast majority of the Pokémon looked stupid, the region was bland, and they're now going to SPACE POKÉMON. If you play the games competitively, then Generation 4 is by far the best. While I can think of a handful, most look cool, or at least decent. I also don't get how the region was bland, so I want to know why you think this. Also the space pokemon thing started in the 3rd gen with our DNA friend. Also here we only had like 3 at max so it isn't much to complain about. And as for the games themselves I find all the competitive additions (better moves, attack split, over all more good pokemon) to make even normal game play more fun. But again this is all personal opinion. I like the 3rd gen best' date=' 'm not sure why, probably because it was a good gen for steel types.[/quote'] from a competitive standpoint 4th gen gave us more good steel types then the 3rd. Of course, everything that is said is personal opinion to do with stuff like this. I found the majority of the Pokémon to look stupid (I have exceptions, Luxray, Lucario, etc.), but I agree that decent is kinda where you draw the line. I swear I've explained it in this thread before, but I found Sinnoh to just be... bleh, generic? Saying that Kanto is by far the most generic so I can't really say that. I found Sinnoh's towns to be so ubran (rather than the rural areas of Johto, or the hot diverse areas of Hoenn) and boring, not to mention the snow as a bit... random. Nice, but random. I can't really explained it as it's just a personal preference, but there was nothing "Wow!" about Sinnoh, aside maybe the lakes imo. And yeah, but they could've kept it to a bare minimum. A space mutation is one thing; Space and Time (and even worse: God) Pokémon took it too far. Which reminds me, there were SO many legendaries that it was really stupid. Come on, 5 per game is enough. :?
Chaos Pudding
Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus SashAbility: PressureEVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 SpdJolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)- Stealth Rock- Taunt- Earthquake- Rock Slide Suicide Lead Aero is sex on wings. Pretty much the fastest Taunt you're going to see, it gets a guaranteed Stealth Rocks up 9 times out of 10. If they switch in their Rapid Spinner early, I just bring out... Gengar (M) @ Life OrbAbility: LevitateEVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtkTimid nature (+Spd, -Atk)- Protect- Shadow Ball- Focus Blast- Hidden Power [Fire] ...This beast right here. Not only does it block Spinners, it also can take out the two most common spinners in one hit. Not to mention it's a solid counter to Scizor, when it isn't using Bullet Punch against me. If it is... Magnezone @ LeftoversAbility: Magnet PullEVs: 172 HP/84 Spd/252 SAtkModest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)- Substitute- Magnet Rise- Thunderbolt- Hidden Power [ice] ...Then I bring out this guy right here. He also fares pretty good against Fortress if he can get up his Magnet Rise before the EQ comes. Tyranitar (M) @ Choice BandAbility: Sand StreamEVs: 160 HP/252 Atk/96 SpdAdamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)- Stone Edge- Crunch- Pursuit- Aqua Tail Generic CB set. Aqua Tail for Heatran. Blissey (F) @ LeftoversAbility: Natural CureEVs: 24 HP/252 Def/232 SDefCalm nature (+SDef, -Atk)- Aromatherapy- Softboiled- Seismic Toss- Thunder Wave I chose the Cleric over the Wishpasser because I really hate Toxic and Thunder Wave. Latias (F) @ LeftoversAbility: LevitateEVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtkTimid nature (+Spd, -Atk)- Calm Mind- Dragon Pulse- Surf- Recover Generic CM sweeper. One of the notable problems my team has is Breloom, especially after Aerodactyl is dead and gone. Other than that, I find it's a really solid team. Flame Dragon
@Chaos: You team looks to be over all really basic so I can' think or many fixs. Also Beloom shouldn't be much of a problem after it sleeps one of your pokemon since Latias should be able to handle what ever it throws at you while set up on it.
