BREEDING HELP. BREEDING HELP.

I need a Hippowdon to learn Slack Off and Stockpile. I have an Arbok (Male) and Slaking (Male) that know said moves. Can somebody please please PLEASE help me figure out how to breed them all properly' date=' or which pokemon I SHOULD be using to get these egg moves?

[/quote']

Unless I'm mistaken you can only get both of those moves on him via bredding with a Smeargle

Man, that's pretty hard to do, seeing as when I tried doing this via link battle, it failed. I think I'll just give up on this guy having both moves.

In addition' date=' I need help choosing a team of pokemon for Sandstorm tactics and stuff. Please help me narrow down this list of guys I think I'd do well with:

Hippowdon

Impish

Leftovers

[b']EQ[/b]

Slack Off

Roar

Toxic

EVS: 176 HP, 84 DEF, 248 SpD

Fine, but I think I like Stockpile more, I can always re-do it just in case. I'll try it out your way first.

Lucario

Adamant

Life Orb

Swords Dance

Close Combat

Extreme Speed

Ice Punch

EVS: 252 ATK, 4 DEF, 252 SPE

Aerodactyl lead

Jolly

Focus Sash

Taunt

Stealth Rock

Earthquake

Stone Edge

EVS: 4 HP, 252 ATK, 252 SPE

Okay.

Magnezone

Mild

Life Orb

Thunderbolt

Magnet Rise

Signal Beam

Explosion

EVS: 88 HP, 88 ATK, 248 SPA, 84 SPE

Gliscor

Jolly

Sand Stream Preferred for team

Yache Berry

Swords Dance

Roost

Aerial Ace

Baton Pass

EVS: 252 HP, 40 ATK, 216 SPE

Swampert Mixpert is the best Pert IMO

Careful

Chesto Berry

Curse

Avalanche

Earthquake

Rest

EVS: 252 HP, 40 DEF, 216 SpD

That kinda wouldn't work, since you already gave me a lead here... oh well.

Once again, please use professional opinion in telling me which guys I should use. I'm already running a Scizor. I have no time to get a Heatran, and I'm not looking for moveset ideas.

Well, I think that the Hippowdon, Swampert, Aerodactyl and Lucario would go well in a team with my Scizor and Tyranitar I just finished raising. Any other comments would be graciously accepted, and thank you for wasting your time on a noob (I've played this series for 10 years and never realized how serious competitive battling was until last year. Pokemon Blue FTW?).

IMO not having an attacking move is a bad idea. Plus odds are you won't get much of a chance to stockpile unless your opponents counters are all dead. That's just me though.

One of the things that makes Pert so great is the fact that he works one most teams lead or not.

Problem with this team is we are really weak to Grass and Water. You also have weaknesses to Fire, Ground, and Fighting. Those 3 are very common attacks. It's made worse when you look at the fact that you have nothing to switch in on a Water, Fighting, or Ground moves (Aero is going to die by the second attack). So when ever one of those attacks are coming your pokemon are going to be hit hard.

I'm back again to annoy you guys with Emerald based Pokemon (apologies for the inconvenience).

I'm working on an Umbreon, but I need help finding room for Psychic, because people at my school run Gengar and Heracross (I do too, but that's besides the point).

I currently stand at:

Toxic

Mean Look

Protect

Wish

Hm. What if I replace my Swampert with a SubPataya Empoleon and fit my Magnezone in somewhere? And what's your stand on Mamoswine? What else should I do for my Sandstorm team that I'm obviously lacking in? Also, I figure that since I'm still not good at competitive battling yet, I should take your opinion on the Stockpile thing... on try the in-game idea, thank you, Tekken Ham. In fact, for some reason, what would adding in some sort of Articuno... with MIND READER and SHEER COLD? Could I for some reason start a trend with it by the mere suggestion of figuring out how to let it live for two turns?!

Emp is good, but Swamp is better IMO. Drop the T-Tar for it since it does help to have a special attacker.

OHKOs are banned competitively. Try Shoddy and form your own opinions.

This is very true

It's me again. :S

I'm running a CB Salamence but I once again need a filler move for the last slot.

It's ATK stands at 384.

Dragon Claw

Hidden Power Flying

EQ

????

Sue me?

CB Mence move set is best as....

~ Outrage

~ Aqua Tail

~ Fire Blast

~ Earthquake / Stone Edge / Dragon Claw

Also speaking of mence he is the pokemon that dropped. HE IS NOW 5. I know. That is a very big drop off.

So' date=' here is the full tier list.

A few pokemon took a fall, but Sal's fall is large and very note worthy.

WOAH. How the freaking hell did Gyarados get on top of Mence?

Nothing. I think it's more so Dragonite getting Extreme Speed and Latias getting used more has cause people to use he other Dragons. If you look even Flygon also went up a bit. Also, with Scizor's use up his would also go up a bit since he makes a decent counter.

Cresselia with Max HP and a good amount of DEF with Reflect up can easily live through a CB' date=' Technician Scizor using Pursuit while Cress flees.

I think. Someone do a damage calc on that.

[/quote']

I'm trying to do the math now and it is so hard, it really is.

Have fun if you want to try.

I don't think Cress will walk away without a chunk of it's HP gone, but that is just me.

Yea, I've been playing with the numbers and for things I know would, lets say kill a heatran, I'm getting that they won't. I'm likely doing it wrong, but I'm not able to help with the math.

Cress can either Rest or Moonlight. Moonlight is hampered by SS which is common. Cress can obviously live the pursuit, but it will not like it at all. With Scizor's amazing popularity, the #1 used poke always dents Cress and forces it out. Also Garchomp is on the suspect ballot. Which means a possibility of an OU Chomp. Which means a revival of SS teams. Which means Cress just dies.

If it did live through that it can't come back in and expect to take another hit before it heals, it'll either die or be crippled. I figured you would say Mence, but it's probably not for the reason I thought it might be. Regardless of weather it can live through it, you shouldn't really be relying on it.

I'm going to start playing a bit more before Zex's tourney so if you feel like getting an easy win before it starts, be my guest.

Odds of Chomp coming back into OU are small. He has had a bloody 79.11% useage there. Even in uber he sits at 13.32% which is great seeing as how it puts him a head of several well known ubers.
