Flame Dragon
The way I see it is that even with Belly Drum and Extreme Speed. Linoone is no where near frightening enough to initiate the switch you'd need to make the Belly Drum work. That combo would work on a Smeargle though' date=' Spore, BD, and then Extreme Speed till you hit a ghost of a freak like Skarmory.[/quote'] There is something called a fourth moveslot: OVERHEAT! Linoone is UU or NU? Also, Chansey sucks in UU compared to Blissey in OU.Have you even played UU? Chansey is just as used their as Bliss is in OU. Dark
Yes, I have played UU. But even with HP and DEF EVs, Chansey can't take as much abuse as Blissey can in OU, even with the lack of power in UU. It's Pursuit bait. Sad face. ='( That, and, there are no Dragon/Fliers (bar Altaria) for me to hit with Ice Beam. And I don't have SToss on this thing. ='(

Also FYI, Chansey is number 21 on the UU list.
TrickyPooBoy
I'm back on for now, I guess. :D Felix, I'm not really happy with my team. I've learned stuff from Smogon recently and thought of this team: LinoonePorygon-zHonchkrowSkarmoryBreloomArcanine Does that work?
Felix
You don't have a Pokemon that can effectively be a Special Wall or at least take Special hits.
TrickyPooBoy
Replace Linnone for an Altaria?
Felix
Altaria is a fairly bad Pokemon when compared to the OU worthy Special Walls that are out there.
PANDORUM™
Altaria confuses me it looks like a flying type buts its also dragon type and doesn't look anything like a dragon but there are other pokemon that are like that.
Madsen
That's pretty sweet but you shouldn't have Lefties and BD on a Zard. BellyZard is a no-no? Since when? Also that was in my first team, when I knew only about lefties D:
Felix
Belly Zard is fine if you can make it work but you won't make it work with Lefties. That's what I was saying. You're screwed if Rocks are up though (which they usually are).

~/Coolio Prime\~
Tyrannitar is easily Revenge Killed. Definitely not a sweeper under most circumstances.
Dark
Tyrannitar is easily Revenge Killed. Definitely not a sweeper under most circumstances. Hahahahaha. Wut? TTar is usually used as a Special Wall. Not a Physical Tank because of damn 4x weakness to Fighting and 2x weakness to Ground. =( With Sandstorm, his SpD and HP are pretty good, but not as good as the whore known as Blissey. Most use TTar as a sweeper with CB, CScarf or DDance. What do you mean revenge killed? Maybe some weaknesses to Bullet Punch and Mach Punch, but he resists Pursuit and has almost excellent defenses. But I see where you are going with this. The damned Scizor.
Flame Dragon
Tyrannitar is easily Revenge Killed. Definitely not a sweeper under most circumstances. He can sweep. DD lets him. However he is best saved to mid or late game.

~/Coolio Prime\~
Eh, most Scizors can beat a Tyrannitar or at least force a switch, and since they're pretty obligatory on most teams I don't usually see one sweep. Though I guess I can see the potential of one that's used DD once or twice.

Of the 6 teams I have on shoddy I think 1 has a Scizor only because I wanted a nOOb team (OU of OU pokemon). Also I see a Scizor in 1 of maybe 4 battles I have on shoddy as of late. Also this is why you wait to Scizor, and other that use moves like his BP, is dead and why you run at least 2 Scizor counters if your tring to sweep with T-Tar since after a couple DD he is next to unstopable. ~/Coolio Prime\~
Oh, I see a lot of Scizors when I play, but you're right that after BPers are gone he makes a good mid-late game sweeper. I usually try to scout out and eliminate Tyranitars and Hippos early on since I primarily use a Hail Team so I don't usually get sweeped by them. The rating says who you face and I'd guess that on the lower end you'll run into more nOObs using OU of OU.
~/Coolio Prime\~
Oh, I started last week and I'm around 1100 or something. That's probably low so that'd explain all of the Scizors.
cerberus21
I use Scizor in a sandstorm team (but then again, i AM a noob to competitive pkmn)
Felix
I hate being so average. I have a stupid Scizor:/ Still working on some sh!t so I should have a fairly competent team by the end of it (although I did say that the last 3 times).
