It would really no attack power what so ever just really good defence.

That's not what I meant, Blissey doesn't need huge atacking stats because that's not what it does. It stops/cripples sweepers as well as supporting the team. The weakness in a team would of Blisseys would be speed and a weakness to physical moves. Lucario for example could sweep without the hint of a resistance.

Im thinking this for my Sandstorm team:

Tyrannitar

Shuckle

Scizor

Garchomp/Aggron

Metagross

Magnezone

do pokemon hwo are' date=' say for example, rock/steel get double the bonus from Sandstorm? No right?

Add A Cacturne. It's Not Rock, Steel OR Ground Type, But Survives Sandstorm (Ur Opponent Won't Know Wut's Coming!). Also, Instead Of Tyranitar, Put Hippowdon In. Tyranitar's Weaknesses Are Fight (Worst), Ground, Steel, Water, Grass, And I Think Bug. Hippwodon's Weaknesses Are Water And Grass. Teach Hippowdon Thunder Fang + Ice Fang/Fire Fang (Heart Scale) And Ur Good.

Blissey is a good Pokemon but at team made out of 6 of them would suck b@lls.

No' date=' I'm just breeding an Army for Tradebait.

It would really no attack power what so ever just really good defence.

Yeah, but Special Sweepers are getting more popular and more common, so High Sp. Def is a must.

Blissey needs no Attack investment regardless. And regardless of the Blissey you're going for' date=' maximum Defense investment is always a must. It turns OHKO's from Physical Attacks into 2 or 3KOs.

Besides, the only Physical Attack Blissey should ever know is Seismic Toss.

Even with 280+ Special Defense, Blissey can still take plenty of Special Attacks because of its HP.

Ahhh. I like a good debate. Though Special Sweepers are getting even more popular' date=' right JD? Yeah, Blissey can take a lot of hits regardless but it's Defence is particulary weak. So is it's Sp. Defence.

[/quote']

I dont think a Base 135 Special Defense Stat is weak but yeah, its Defense does suck but investing 252 EVs in it does make a difference. Some OHKO's become 2KO's just by doing that.

lawlz, Blissey's SpD is not bad. It's 8th highest in the game. 6th if you don't count Ubers.

But yeah its Defense sucks. 714 Hp compensates for that but not enough to stop STAB CC's.

Blissy really doesn't need any HP EVs. It's HP is the highest in the game so with 0 EV it's still over 600. You need some Sp. Def EVs so to make many 2 OHKO into 3. It doesn't need to have that maxed so from their you can give the remaining EVs to HP or Sp. Atk to give it's attacks more bite.

^Blissey is a whore, disscussing the thing is something that can lead to many different topics. It's easily one of the best Pokemon in the game and that's why so many people use it. It can also be somewhat controversial in its OUness.

@Flame: Cutting Hp is only really a good idea if you have something you deffinately want to do with it that isn't taking any physical hits. The only reason mine takes physical hits so well is max Hp and Def.

@Akiza: SmogonUniversity Look at the different kinds of Blissey and make those. Don't make noobs sets.

That may be your personal preference' date=' but 114 HP can make a lot of difference.

A quick Question: Is Blissey considered a Tank due to it's High HP?

Yes.
