Let's induce something that isn't involved with hardcore Pokemon training.

Apparently, according to Platinum's Dex, a Magikarp that has lived on long enough can leap over mountains using Splash. It then says that the move is still useless. But if a Magikarp can leap over a mountain using Splash, wouldn't it have to bounce off a ground ridiculously hard? Hard enough to inflict some serious damage to something that doesn't have a rock-hard body (if it was a rock-hard body, what you'd get is probably Magikarp sauce)? Or if all else fails, it can use massive Splash velocity to make itself a living missle and launch itself at whatever it's aimed at (Magikarp+bomb strapped to it+properly angled launchpad=living missle. Literally. Just get a bunch of them and WHAM-O! You've got enough firepower to do some pretty sweet stuff.).

Could you imagine Splash being used like that? I think it would be awesome.

Or we can kill them in the masses for Speed EV's!

I like my idea better. It'll show just how not useless Magikarp is. :D

Impish is a really really really bad nature for a Gallade since you just killed his best stat and help his worse.

Gallade is more of a Physical Attacker anyway. But still. I think it couldv'e been trained better. The Speed should have been focused on in particular because with a DEF like 150, it is pretty fragile physically.

I got my Darkrai through AR.

But still 403 is good.

I'm doing the Elite 4 on Platinum atm. Level 73 Lucario FTW.

403 Special Attack is 2 off the maximum possible for Darkrai. I got the Darkrai from the event. Well, 3 of them. 1 is Level 100 Timid and EV'd as best as I could.

Here's the stats of the LV100:

Item: Leftovers

HP: 252

ATK: 190

DEF: 216

Sp ATK: 352

Sp DEF: 214

SPD: 353

Moves:

Dark Void

Nightmare

Ice Beam

Dark Pulse

Getting good IVs on a legendary legitamately takes time that one person doesn't have. Good IV'd legendaries have to be cloned and traded otherwise you won't get a good one. The easiest thing to do would be use an AR. It's lame but so long as you don't go ver board with the IVs it's not a big deal. For normal breeds it doesn't take too long if you do it the right way but legenderies can't breed so it's too difficult.
