I'm going to have to say Beartic, but Vanilluxe is good overall. Cryogonal isn't that great, at least I don't think he is.

Not to mention Cryogonal is stupidly hard to find at this time of year

Go for Vanilluxe, it can learn Frost Breath and use it properly, as that will be your only Ice move for a while

Yesterday was a big tournament. I didn't go, but my friends went, and they sent a Youtube vid seeing that he lost. I warned him lol :P

The tournament only allowed 4 pokemon from the Unova region only, so can anyone criticize what I have if I did attend:

Sigilyph

Relaxed Nature

Wonder Guard

Holding Nothing Currently

-Toxic

-Whirlwind

-Cosmic Power

-Roost

Whimsicott

Hardy Nature

Infiltrator

Leftovers

-Substitute

-Encore

-Hurricane

-Leech Seed

(I got impatient and used the Sun Stone before it could have learned Cotton Guard >.<)

Mienshao

Adamant Nature

Regenerator

Normal Gem

-Fake Out

-Substitute

-High Jump Kick

-Acrobatics

Volcarona

Modest Nature

Flame Body

Holding no item

-Fiery Dance

-Hurricane

-Quiver Dance

-Some other move...

Horrible moveset for sigilyth. Use stored power, cosmic power, psycho shift, and roost then have flame orb equipped.

Forgot, here's my layout for the my locals tournament. They're allowing two out region pokemon and it's 6 on 6. Here's my layout

Darmanitan EV 252 attack 252 speed 4 hp Adamant

Guessing you need a moveset.

Item: Dragon Gem

Moveset:

Outrage

Night Slash

Iron Tail

Earth Quake/Hone Claws

I really don't like the Gems since Life Orb is such a better item. And Iron Tail really is a bad move. Personally I'd give it Dragon Dance, or since it's a max speed version maybe a Choice Band and Dragon Claw (so you don't want to lock yourself into a move unless you need to).

Iron tail with hone claws would OHKO any ice type. Life orb I can't really agree with. People will more than likely pass on a status effect or setup with stealth rock and such. Life orb will only drain hp faster. Haxorus has a speed of 332 and under when Jolly and isn't fast enough to kill most things that can kill it so life orb would be a bad idea. In the case of dragon vs hone claws it depends on your opponent. If they have a strong ice type. Keep hone claws and use iron tail. If not then dragon dance and dragon claw is fine. Choice band is terrible unless you're smart enough to switch it out at the right time.

Ice types are often very frail so even without a 2x move Dragon Claw coming off of him will kill most things anyway especially with a +1 boost. Plus as you said he isn't the fastest mon so he can easily be killed by anything fast + ice move, and most pokemon carry ice moves if they can because they have great coverage and destroy dragons, kills him. That's why DD is so good one him it makes him that much harder to out speed and lets him hit that much harder. And you never know why pokemon they will have and over all DD is better.

Life Orb gives a much need boost to all moves and you don't loss it. Lossing 10% of your HP is worth it if your now OHKO things. And really, he doesn't have many choices. As said the Gems are horrible. Leftovers doesn't work on attackers like him. Choice items are risky and DD sets are better over all imo since you get a little of both. When you use Haxs you don't normally use him to sweep, just dent your opponent's team to let another mon get the sweep.

CB is good if you know how to use Choice mon and now how to predict your opponent.

I agree with you there but non-frail ice types like regice have been used on a random matchup and if not them then mamoswine, weavile, and vanilluxe. Vanilluxe may be used for the glitching reason but still. A weavile can KO a most dragons excluding ones that take half damage from fake out. Let's say you send out the haxorus. Weavile will definitely go first, use fake out disrupting your set-up then use ice punch KOing Hax. I've KO'd a fully ev'd IV'd latios that 28 IVs in everything and 255 EV in speed and attack with my jolly weavile. With mamoswine depending how you set-up. If you use a trap move than your opponent more than likely will just KO haxorus with something like Ice shard. If they don't set-up a trap and predict you using DD then they'll just throw ice shard or something than use endeavor next turn than ice shard since they probably use focus sash.

Regice is unlikely be in the same tier as Hax, and even then you wouldn't stay in on it. Why would you leave Hax in against a Weavile unless you already have a speed boost? Rule of thumb is all Mamoswine carry Ice Shard so leaving in any Dragon against him will result in a dead dragon. And Mamo has no trap move so again, you would be stupid to stay in against one. Also Mamo only carries Focus Sash if it's leading. For the other 99% of the time it's either CB or LO (most likely Band) and speaking from experience a max ATK Banded Ice Shard kills most things it's super effective against.

Return is terrible for Slaking as is brick break. If anything for fighting hammer arm would work. This is a flip flop team if you bothered checking my earlier layout. They're meant to work well with one another and giving Slaking brick break is a bad idea. Sure screen and reflect are annoying but my earlier layout can survive the oh so annoying screen/reflect. The said slaking has over 400 attack and 277 speed. Sure 277 isn't very fast but good enough to employ hammer arm. Giga impact with Slaking is great either way. Truant or no truant. Giga impact is unaffected by truant and if you're going to suggest something else suggest crush claw or strength. Substitute with empoleon is bad as well because it can't make up for lost hp and the special attack isn't high enough for it to be a payoff. Heatran is there for lava plume and the one I have EV trained has high enough defenses for it to not need scarf. I have two bronzongs. One with levitate and one with heatproof. In the tag battle bronzong can use skill swap to avoid the 4x weakness.

You do know Return is better then both Strength and Crush Claw. At max it hit a little over 100 base power and with stab jumps to over 150. I'm not sure how Truant works with Giga Impact so I'll trust you when you say it's better. Also, why Faint Attack over Shadow Claw? Sure Normal pokemon are immune, but the damage out put is so much better at 120 vs 140 on 2x hits. Plus the always hit bonus is so much worse then the increase crit odds one.

You haven't seen Subleon sweep have you. Trust me with Agility (you should cut Signal Beam since it doesn't add any needed coverage anyway) and the Petaya + Ability boost his Surf/Hydro Pump puts holes in teams and Ice Beam is a great clean up move. However if they have a priority fighting move the combo is useless and with cinderblock clown so popular I wouldn't recommend it without a good clown check (you do have one fyi, Gliscor). I would do a defensive set to take advantage off all his resistances. However for an aggressive set like the one your looking for the Sub set would be best imo.

Also, for your Scor, you might want to drop U-Turn or SD since they don't work all that well together. I'd say add on Ice Fang since Ice moves are always nice to have.

Also taking advantage of Steel stab is rarely worth it on Emp or Heat since they simply have better moves. For Heat give it Overheat and for Emp give is Grass Knot.

Also, why in the world are you using Metang? If it's for the DEF boost of the item it really isn't worth it since you loss out on an item (Leftovers is your friend) and higher HP, ATK, and SPE stats. Also even without the stone Gross is still one hell of a tank and can take hits.

Also, it's not very good to have a team of 3 steel types all of whom are weak to EQ. Especially if this is for double battles.
