Flame Dragon

Deoxys - S is non-uber, in fact, I think it might even be BL or something. Its speed is ridiculous, it can put up layers, and other such. Overall, the only thing that keeps it from being broken is its hitpoints.

It's only so I get the first hit. Can it learn explosion? I know alot of people who put thier main attacker first.

It doesn't really matter if you put 255 or 252 into a stat. Unless the 4 HP EVs are imperative so you don't take extra SR damage, you can put 255 and nothing bad is going to happen. Not like the one extra stat point will actually ever help.

I still know nothing about the damn Gen V metagame. <_____<

Team seems solid enough.

For champ leftovers is almost always a must, Also his ability should almost always be No Guard to work with DyPun. If you want to keep the one you have drop Punch for Cross Chop and maybe use burn/toxic orb.

Edge is good one Chomp.

It slightly increases your probability of winning the game. Every hitpoint helps.

I wonder how long it will take smogon university to figure out the current OU standings.

I've been in upwards of 250 WiFi and ShoddyBattle battles, and I've never had an extra stat point in HP or Speed ever help me. The probability is so miniscule, and it almost never comes in to effect. Chances are when you run a damage calc, the maximum damage will surpass both HP stats, and the damage under that will leave you living on both fronts. It will almost never come into effect, so it honestly doesn't matter. When I EV train in-game, I do a 255/255 spread. When I'm playing on a simulator, though, I can use 252/252/4 since it doesn't take any more effort. :/

Its easier to do the 4 EV in this game with feathers, just go back and forth on the Miraculous Bridge, its also a good place to hatch eggs.

But you could run into Swannas

one time my Gengar lived a Super-Effective move on 1 health, without Focus Sash. Ever since then, I always put the 4 in HP.

One time in how many attacks? A few thousand?

If you are on a simulator, fine. But why put in the extra effort when it won't end up mattering? The chances are so slight that it doesn't affect "win chance" whatsoever. It's extremely situational that your Scizor lives with 1 HP because you put in 4 extra HP EVs that ends up sweeping with CB Bullet Punch that ends up winning you the game which you would have lost otherwise because your other Pokemon was a Farfetch'd.

Scizor was a bad example because of the nature of its HP, but my point still stands. It won't help.

Is it really that much more difficult to beat 2 Audinos (each give +2 HP evs) before starting the regular EV training?

10 EVS (Pokerus, power item, 1 EV) x 25 = 250

Remove Power item = 2

250 + 2 = 252, Its not that hard it to EV to 252

I'm really pissed off what they did with the berries. I can't use Unburden Drifblim Peteya sweeper without Dream World.

Best alternative then is:

Drifblim@Ghost Gem

Ability: Unburden

252 Sp. Atk / 128 HP / 124 Spd

Timid Nature [ +Spd / -Atk ]

- Shadow Ball

- Psychic / Thunderbolt

- Thunder Wave

- Calm Mind / Thunderbolt

Trust me, one of the best Unburden sweepers out there.

498 Spd after Unburden with Ghost Gem.
