Bengal Archetype and various old deck support

New Archetype: Bengals (a series of Beast-Warrior-Type monsters that retain their effects if they are treated as a Normal Monster).

 

Bengal Monsters:

 

Hunter Bengal

Earth/Beast-Warrior - Effect

1200/1000

Effect: If this face-up card is destroyed, select 1 level 4 or lower Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type monster in your deck and Special Summon it. If it is an Effect Monster, it is treated as a Normal Monster as long as it remains face-up on the field.

 

 

Saber Bengal

Dark/Beast-Warrior - Effect

1900/1000

Effect: If this card is treated as a Normal Monster, it still gains its effect. If this card is the only monster you control, it can attack the opponent directly. In that case, Battle Damage inflicted to the opponent is halved.

 

 

White Bengal Brawler

Earth/Beast-Warrior - Gemini

Effect: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field and in the graveyard. You can Normal Summon this face-up monster to treat it as an Effect Monster with the following effect:

 

* Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can send 1 Normal Monster from your hand or your side of the field to the graveyard to treat 1 face-up Effect Monster on the field as a Normal Monster until the End Phase of the next turn.

 

 

Bengal Gardna

Effect: If this card is treated as a Normal Monster, it still gains its effect. This card cannot be destroyed by the effects of Effect Monsters that target. Once per turn, if an opponent's Effect Monster targets a Normal Monster you control with its effect, you can change the target to this card.

 

 

Shadowed Bengal

Effect: If this card is treated as a Normal Monster, it still gains its effect. You can send this card and 1 Normal Monster on your side of the field or in your hand to the graveyard to destroy 2 Spell or Trap cards on the field. The targeted cards cannot be activated in response to this effect.

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing 3 "Bengal" monsters or Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type Normal Monsters in your graveyard from play. This card cannot be treated as a Normal Monster, and is unaffected by the effects of Spell or Trap cards that excludes Normal Monsters as a monster(s) their effect is applied to. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, if Normal Monsters you control are attacked by Effect monsters, the attacking monsters are destroyed after Damage Calculation.

 

 

Bengal Metropolis

Field Spell

Effect: All "Bengal" and "Tiger" monsters on the field, in your hand, and in your graveyard are treated as Normal Monsters, and gain 500 ATK and DEF. "Tiger" Effect monsters affected by this effect still gain their effects. If there are more face-up Normal Monsters than Effect Monsters on the field, the effects of all Effect Monsters on the field are negated. If there are more face-up Effect Monsters than Normal Monsters on the field, destroy this card.

 

 

Primary Perception

Continuous Spell

Effect: Card effects that specifically apply to either Beast-Type or Beast-Warrior-Type monsters only are now applied to both Beast and Beast-Warrior-Type monsters.

 

 

Nobleman's Charity

Normal Spell

Effect: Select 1 face-up monster you control and destroy it. If it was a level 4 or lower monster, draw 1 card. If it was a level 5 or 6 monster, draw 2 cards. If it was a level 7 or higher monster, draw 3 cards.

 

 

Anthropomorphism

Equip Card

Effect: Equip only to a Beast-Type monster. When the equipped card is sent to the graveyard, Special Summon 1 Beast-Warrior-Type monster of the same level from your hand or deck. It cannot attack or activate its effect that turn.

 

 

Bestiary

Normal Spell

Effect: Pay 1000 life points. Declare a Monster Type. Select 1 Monster of the declared type from either player's graveyard and return it to the bottom of their deck, then draw 1 card. If the drawn card is a Monster with the selected type, you can Special Summon it to your field in face-up Attack position.

 

 

Guardian of the Underworld - Cerberus

"Messenger from the Underworld" + 1 or more non-Tuner Fiend-Type monsters

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. While this card is face-up on the field, card effects the opponent controls that affect, activate in or when sent to, or remove card(s) from the graveyard are negated. Also, by paying 1000 life points when this card is Synchro Summoned, this card gains the effect(s) of the non-Tuner monster(s) used to Synchro Summon it. This card cannot attack unless it was attacked during your opponent's last turn.
