The Northstar Nova List

Recommended Posts

The correct reason to prove that a card that is useless in Advanced due to its target card being banned isn't banworthy is that their targets aren't banned in Traditional' date=' and they have their uses back.

They shouldn't be Limited in Traditional because they aren't limit-worthy in Traditional.

If dedication were banned in advanced, it would be limited in traditional, which means that it would still be usable...

so... umm... what was the point of your "test"?

I'm sorry that our perfectly valid reason didn't match up with the nonsensical "justification" that you were looking for. Next time, I'll remember to use my clairvoyant space-brain to read your mind.

Seriously, deciding the Advanced Format list based on Traditional is even stupider than banning useless cards. Advanced Format is the format that can actually be salvaged, and hence all decisions should depend solely upon its status; Traditional should simply be dragged along for the ride.

tl;dr: Your test fails; anyone who passed fails; anyone who gave the real reason (uselessness is not a crime) passes.
