Thread Tagging Rule in CC

Recommended Posts

With the amount of n00bish threads being posted in CC, I thought it would be good for there to be a new rule that allows you to tag your thread [adv][/adv] if you are an advanced user using advanced OCG, and allowing people to skim through CC and read only the best threads if they don't want to critique n00bish cards. Of course, n00bs do deserve some comments, but I think there also needs to be the possibility of singling out the better threads to make it so people aren't avoiding CC on account of n00bishness anymore

I don't support this idea. Define "Advanced OCG". People have their preferences as to what OCG they use. For starters, I don't use Release/Advance Summon, as that term does not really exist in the TCG. I also don't use your field/your opponent's field, as that term doesn't exist in the TCG either. It doesn't make my cards noobish, but I quite simply don't agree with those ideas posted in the OCG thread.

Then there will sill be people who fail at OCG adding such tags to their post. So in all, it becomes pointless.

What would prevent noobs from tagging their own threads? o_O

same as any rule, if they tag it, they get reported and locked. But whereas it takes longer to learn OCG, it hopefully will only take one shot to let them know not to tag their threads advanced.

I like this idea and it has actually given me an idea along these lines' date=' i will see if i can implement it.

thanks :D

I'm eager to see what your new idea is

Perfect OCG hardly is a guarantee of a good card. Literally copying the effect of a all ready created card gives you good/perfect OCG but wasn't much work. Some of the things harder to word usually are the better cards.

I support this idea as long as the rules of tagging are a bit different than the ones you created.

I don't.

You are gonna create unnecessary bias by doing this. Separating members on a conscious level.

Ooh and I'd like to point out...

Advanced OCG does not mean it is better. I myself prefer Old OCG due to taking use of technicalities and rulings. And yet, I am not one of the worst. Now am I?
