Bloodrun? Former? Wha?

If you could tell FP this in the mods section, I thank you.

 

I've been a member here for awhile. Not as long as you FP but awhile. So, like many other members, I suggest you get the f*** off your a** and do something about this forum. Do you remember the forums Golden Age? When Altair was "da clown of hell" and Jedite had the only holo shop around? Everyone was at peace and the Super Mods did something other than demote mods. Seriously slap yourself across the face because this forum is dead. The noobs and spammers are taking over and you're not doing jack sh*t. First up, appoint some mods. Altair & problematica would be good for the GD Section. And appoint each one to parts, one to Showcase & Requests and one to Shops. Next, YCMaker, make J-Max a Super Mod. He is trying to help this forum and deserves that position. Every forum needs new mods. At least 2 in the smaller sections and 3-4 in the others. General would need 3-4 because there is alot of spam there. Also, don't ban/demote them or lock the thread. Members have the right to speak their minds. It's the Internet. Next, YCMaker, I suggest adding a mod that stops members posting anywhere until they read the Global Rules. There is a way to do this. I saw a mod on the internet somewhere. This isn't necessary but it would help greatly. And finally, when you are about to lock a spam thread, post the reason why you are locking it so the member gets the idea and doesn't create another thread just to ask why it was locked. << These ideas will help the forum greatly. YCMaker, I thank you for making this great place but you're losing control. Take the reigns and remind us you're the admin. FP, if you think this is arrogant crap then go to hell. Listen and this site will win.

 

 

J-Max, you are a legend. You are sticking up for the forum and you should give yourself a pat on the back.

Nah, being a moderator is the dream of almost all members in this forum, including me. But I think I will not apply myself for now. There are so many other members that deserve that place, like you, Chaotix. ;)

^ Yeah, you're right. tbh, even I wanted to become a mod at a time. But although members may have the dream as you said, they shouldn't be using this thread as an excuse to say "If I was helping you as a mod J-Max, I'd do all this awesome *insert random crap here*." Hence, promoting themselves as a mod candidate.

 

Just my opinion. Don't start any arguements. Not everyone in this thread is doing it, so no one should be taking it personally, but I have noticed it in more than one post in this thread.

Bloodrun appears in Both Former and Active. Someone has put him in former. Can't they see what this means? It was a crisis enough as it was. It was 1 little argument that Blood had with Faint. Don't strip his Mod Power!

Actually, I know why Bloodrun got demoted.

 

On InfiniteX I was talking to him and asked him why he was banned. He told me why and that he was going to leave the forum and stuff, and that he would try not to come back and make YCMaker put him in the Former Moderators group...

from what i know he probably is still a mod of a certain category, added by YCMaker, but his primary usergroup is former mod.

Meh...... As was described in a PM I recieved from a Member. I am now in a "Ludicrous" situation. Seriously I love YCM and all of you Great Members to bits but i'm desperate' date=' I have cried up for help ever since Bloodrun was banned for that week and no-one listened. It's like the Mod Team doesn't exist, our thoughts are usually ignored.

I know where you're coming from because when I moderated General, I had enough at times well and repeatedly asked for a second mod, but my candidate... didn't get promoted. Too bad, move on.

you were right to go on strike because i have noticed a lack of mods on the forum

there is probably only 5 or 6 active mods out of all of them including super mods

 

i think YCMaker should open a few application threads or just PM the users he feels worthy of being a mod. i would like to be one but i have a long way to go

the most eligible people worthy of the mod position is probably people like Ashje, Demented and other brilliant members on the forum

But, I don't want Bloodrun to be banned. He is a good guy.

 

As for the other problem - I suggest you talk to other Moderators. If they support you, then your suggestion might be considered by YCMaker.

 

If YCMaker sees that not only you, but other moderators as well, think that more moderators are needed - it is more likely that he will listen.

I doubt he will even see this thread.

 

We are only Normal Members - there isn't much we can do besides giving you a credit for being brave and caring about the site.

They are doing their job, but they have a real life as well.

He wanted to retire at first but then decided he wanted to Mod again after his return. He even created a whole thread devoted to the fact that he was Sorry and was just stressed at the moment. I'm just annoyed they HAD to go through with Demotion during the current crisis.

I understand Dj. I know that Strike Action will do nothing but what am I supposed to do? Sit there in front of my PC all the time? I don't want that' date=' no-one does. When was the last time Falling or YCmaker here to discuss possibilities? Hardly ever. It was mention that Totalobelisk should be asked to Mod again but he quit long ago (Why exactly is he still on the Mod List?)

 

I suggest a New Mod Application thread. This is a serious damn Joke and there is no way I am going to sit on my PC to Mod all the time. Oh yeah, I did hand in a resignation. 2 days before the ban was issued. The whole time while I was banned, my account was untouched, I was still a mod. Even when I was unbanned, i was a mod still for 2 days. I was banned for arguing (speaking my mind), am I not allowed to do that?

So, they demote the mods who show that they can speak for themselves, but keep the mods who don't do crap? Not even log on?

Anyway, back to the resignation, I did resign, but I realized that J-Max was having a hard time, seeing that members thought there would be a new mod picking, thus, they suddenly became more active.

 

Also, you might say, "well you finally got what you wanted".

I have already bought this up in the Mod Forum but now I want awnswers. Why is Bloodrun suddenly a Former Mod? He can't do anything Mod related while there. Was is some kind of way to halt Mod Duties while a Inverstigation is going on? It's not a coincidence that he has been "Demoted" since I bought up the whole CC Things. A Very small part of me is starting to think that I may be next.

Yes this isn't fair to J-Max. This site needs 3 or 4 more Mods for teh CC section. J-Max doesn't need to do this by himself.
