Umbra
The greatest project in the history of Written Cards. One card for every pin and every character, every plot element in one of the greatest games for the DS: It's a Wonderful World, better known as The World Ends With You. Ladies and Gentlemen, and those of you that belong to "Other", I give you Project Shibuya. Let's start with the most fabulous Reaper of them all. Sho MinamimotoDARKWarrior4 / 1900 / 1300Once per turn, you can send up to 3 DARK monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard to increase this card's ATK by 100 points for each card sent, until the End Phase. During your Standby Phase, you can add 1 “Garbage Heap” in your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Minamimoto uses Taboo Noise to power himself up during the boss fight. He also places random heaps of garbage around Shibuya (only in the UG, it seems). Garbage HeapContinuous Spell CardPlace 1 “Scrap Token” (EARTH/Machine-type/Level 1/0/0) in Defense Position in up to 2 Monster Card Zones on the field. “Scrap Tokens” cannot be removed from the field except by destruction by battle. Any Battle Damage taken from a battle with a Scrap Token is increased by 300. Taboo Refinery SigilContinuous Trap CardOnce per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower DARK monster from your hand. If a “Sho Minamimoto” you control is destroyed, you can send 2 DARK monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summon 1 “Taboo Minamimoto” from your Deck. Minamimoto uses a Refinery Sigil to produce Taboo Noise, and also to power himself up after his death. Taboo MinamimotoDARKWarrior6 / 2500 / 2100This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by “Taboo Refinery Sigil”. This card gains 200 ATK for each DARK monster in your Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. During your Standby Phase, increase your Life Points by 800 points. You challenge Taboo Minamimoto once in the original storyline, absurdly powered up and seemingly indestructible. On top of that, he has regeneration. Leo CantusDARKBeast-Warrior6 / 2800 / 2300You can Special Summon this card by selecting 1 “Sho Minamimoto” during a turn where exactly 3 DARK monsters were sent to the Graveyard by the selected monster's effect and Tribute it. This card can attack twice per Battle Phase. When this card would be removed from the field, you can remove 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard from play instead. If there are no DARK monsters in your Graveyard, this card is destroyed. Minamimoto's ultimate form, the lion-human Leo Cantus. An incredibly fierce beast that he can shift into by absorbing Taboo Noise. But of course, there are other Reapers as well. Koki KariyaDARKSpellcaster8 / 1500 / 1300If you control a face-up DARK monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card attacks, increase it's ATK by 400 points during the Damage Step. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card to destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls. If you do, you cannot declare an attack this turn. Uzuki YashiroDARKWarrior4 / 1800 / 1400This card cannot be destroyed by battle. This card can attack twice during the same turn. Kariya and Uzuki are the two Reapers first encountered by the Players as they stumble through Shibuya. Kariya is often described as powerful, but wanting to keep himself on a lower position on purpose, hence the low ATK and DEF. Yashiro on the other hand is a veritable killing machine, eager to earn those extra points. Megumi KitanjiDARKSpellcaster8 / 2400 / 2400Once per turn, remove 2 cards on the field from play. When this card is destroyed, you can remove it from play to destroy up to 3 cards on the field. If this card is removed from play by this effect, it is Special Summoned during your next Standby Phase. Yodai HigashizawaDARKWarrior8 / 3000 / 1200You can Special Summon this card from your hand by sending 2 DARK monsters in your hand to the Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 DARK monster you control (except this card) to destroy up to 2 cards on the field. Kitanji is the Conductor of the Game for the three weeks, and one of the game's most powerful Reapers. He's able to erase most players on the spot, either using Noise or his own power. Higashisawa is a big, bulky guy that likes to make analogies with food. He's a really strong guy that doesn't afraid of anything. Mitsuki KonishiDARKSpellcaster7 / 2400 / 2300If a player's Life Points is higher than their opponent's, switch control of this card to that player. When this card is attacked, you can redirect the attack to a face-down Defense Position monster you control. Konishi is the last of the Game Masters, and a sly one at that. She spends most of her time hiding in shadows, and can change her allegiances easily. Noise FormEquip Spell CardEquip only to a Level 4 or higher Warrior- or Spellcaster-type monster. The equipped monster's Type is also treated as Beast-Warrior. Increase it's ATK and DEF by 800 points. When the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead. Puck of LightEquip Spell CardIf the equipped monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, equip this card to another monster with the same Type as the equipped monster you control and place 1 Combo Counter on this card. Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 500 points + 100 points for each Combo Counter on this card. Some Reapers have a so-called Noise Form, the shape you see them as in Boss battles, which greatly improves their skills and stats. The Light Puck is what Players in a partnership use to build up their strength. Link to comment
Docomodake
I wish I had played TWEWY to understand these. These sure are some fabulous cards, I'm just disappointed in myself that I don't understand what they're based on. Link to comment
