My crush - Does she like me or not?!?!

Meh... Been gone for over a year so bear with me if this is off for this section...

As goes for any highschool kid, I have a crush... -.-

But this doesn't exactly go for any highschool kid. 1: I can be extremely paranoid sometimes... 2: I get extremely jealous 3: I am shy 4: I am sensitive. So don't tell me, "Oh just ask her out!!!" I literally can't do that. But...

I think she likes me! Of course, when I said I was paranoid, I mean f@%@#$%ing paranoid! I keep telling myself she likes or dislikes me at the slightest sign, and I can't help myself from doing this... It pisses me off.

Anyways, I went online to look at body language tips. There is only one problem. The site creators seem very short sighted, because they fail to realize that some people do what they do with their body just as habit or if someone crosses their legs, it's because they're tired, not because the person is telling me to move on.

Anyways, with what I could tell from the info, she half likes me, half hates me...? I don't think that makes much sense and I was getting depressed because I constantly doubt myself. I always tell myself to consider the worst, that way no matter what I'll feel better because what happened won't be as bad as what I imagined. This doesn't work out so great in this situation though.

In gym a while back she was hanging out with another guy and they were getting along real nice. But she kept looking at me across the room and brushing her hair while looking at me. This is a sign she likes me apparently... She also kept positioning herself to face me. I later asked my friend if she ever hangs out with that kid in his gym class (We are broken up into several gym classes) and he said no.

So I assumed since she was getting along with a guy she doesn't normally do while I'm around... (Or someone else...?) then I assumed she doesn't like him and is trying to make me jealous! AGHH so confusing!!!

So I tried making her jealous and from what I can tell it worked! I was sitting with another girl during gym because I forgot my change of clothes. She was looking at me, noticed I was talking to a girl and immediately looked away and started brushing her hair like there were bugs in it! She seriously was combing it with her fingers every other second and looking at me with a frown. I kept smiling at her the whole time whenever she looked...

Later on our way to our separate locker rooms, she took an alternate path, the path I take and I got in a sentence or two before she had to turn to get to the girls locker room. She was smiling and looking at me in a different way.

Aside from that...

1: She's in about four of my classes not counting lunch.

In Biology, we had a lab together once and she was squeamish at the sight of writhing worms. Gross for me, not squeamish material though. We used to talk a lot back then. Anyways, all the signs I've seen show that she's not the kind of girl who jumps up at the chance to cut open a pig... But that's exactly what she did.

That's important because I was the assistant. That's important because... Each dissecting team has an assistant, a cutter, a writer and an artist. All assistant places were taken and 2 cutter spots were taken. The next cutter would be on my team, while the next writer and artist would be on earlier teams based on some graph the teacher drew up. She wanted to be a cutter... Do you think this could be because of me?

We talk a bit on AIM to. Once she told me the story of her old boyfriend, and how much of a jack!@# he was. She asked for my honest opinion and I gave it to her, and it was on her side. She also wanted me to listen to.

I am seriously confused and at the same time hoping she likes me... But as I said I'm a shy kind of guy. I need someone to give me their honest opinion, do you think she likes me...? Give a reason to, thanks.

(P.S. for anyone who cares -- She's dirty blond, about 5'9-10, blue-ish/green eyes and named Errin M.)

I know!!! One thing I forgot to mention was way earlier this year when I waved to her... She kept giving me a weird smile, I waved... She stared... E.t.c. After that I couldn't bring myself to talk to her for a while. I'm back though and talk to her a lot. Gonna try asking her to be my dance partner in gym and ask her out on valentines day. Normally I wouldn't do that but it's a special day... Depends on how she acts around me I guess.

Thanks for the input.

Also everyone in my school believes boys should asks girls out sadly... Lots of girls said they think I'm cute and they like me but I REALLY like this girl and am not prepared to go out with another girl just to "cut my losses". Even when they tell me they like me though, they still just stare at me expecting me to ask them out... ><

Yeah it kind of is for me. When I said I'm shy... I meant I'm shy and have negative four years of socializing(I thought it was a good idea to be homeschooled)... Oh did I mention I recently moved to the area I'm in...? Yeah isn't that a great combo... Still I'm mustering my courage. I'll try asking her out on valentines day.

Luckily for me the highschool I'm in has very nice people so the only social issues I have to worry about is this one, not nasty kids and cleshays like that.

lol xD

Wait... I can;t bring flowers and chocolate to her before I ask her out... If she says no... WTF?!? I'm just gonna be standing there with a box of flowers and a bu cay of chocolate. Or... Yeah w/e. If I ask her out it won't be in front of other probably... :P But she's really nice. Reeeaaaaly nice, not one of the plastic squad if you know what I mean.

And if I ask her out it's gonna be somewhere private.

That is BRILLIANT! I always thought of putting love notes in her lockers... But then of course the part of my brains that gives me doubt kept saying "You'll look desperate! don't do it!" Only problem with this... And this might be a good thing in my case, is that once I slip a note in, no going back!

Aaaaand... Well, let's be honest. It does seem a bit desperate but since it's the day before valentines day, well, romantic sort of. (Val's day is on Saturday)

Yeah it's pretty bad. I've let the problem grow within me since third grade when I told a girl I liked her... err well I was young and didn't know any better so I told her I loved her... And it was near valentines day and some of my friends were doing the same so... Oh wow this is f@#$#@#$ed up but I told two girls that at the same time when they were next to each other... Actually I told my friend to tell them. No, I didn't hit my head when I was a kid. It may seem that way, and looking back at that experience I think myself that I hit myself on the head with a hammer.

Mmhh... I always thought that was a bad basis... Maybe I'm wrong. When I'm online I'm a completely different guy, outgoing and not the least bit shy. It's my strength. I also know one of her friends from a boxing class I go to. Me and him were friends a couple months before I knew he was Errin's friend. A bit coincidental.
