Hiei is my favorite character. I have the first two seasons on DVD, I saw a lot of the third season, and only a scarce few episodes of the fourth season. I read info off of YYH Wiki. His 100% (which Dragonball z ripped of to use on Frieza) Was like a big floop, i mean, the things that led to his head ruined it all, And yeah, Hiei owns pretty much. Yeah, the first ones are like stupid and all, but when you get to episode 6 it starts getting awesome, it isn't called one of the best Shinbun (Or whatever stands for violence) animes for nothing. YYH is probably one of the reasons why I loved Saturdays. My personal favorite character is Kurama. (Yoko is cool, but I prefer Kurama as he is.)
