[DISC] Arms Wing, Armored Wing, and Armory Arm

Recommended Posts

ARM EVERYWHERE.

Blackwing-ArmsWingRGBT-JP.jpg

"Blackwing" Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner monster.

When this card attacks a Defense Position monster' date=' it gains 500 ATK during the Damage Step only. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the diference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points.[/quote']

What the hell? Why is this so subpar? Armored Wing was much more creative, what happened when they designed this?

1 "Blackwing" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

This card cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. If this card attacks' date=' you can place 1 Wedge Counter on the opposing monster (max. 1). By removing all Wedge Counters from your opponent's side of the field, the ATK and DEF of all monsters that had a Wedge Counter become 0 until the End Phase.[/quote']

I like this one a lot. Very nicely made, since Blackwings lack ATK power.

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

Once per turn' date=' you can treat this card as an Equip Card and equip it to a monster OR unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. While this card is treated as an Equip Card by this effect, the equipped monster gains 1000 ATK. When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.[/quote']

I have mixed feelings about this one. At least it has 1,800 ATK so it can stand by itself, but otherwise it's a -2 on the field for an Equip Spell, regardless of how great its effect is.

  1. What?!
  2. If you want to make use of the Wedge counter thingy, you'd either need to attack def mode monsters, or have 2 of those Synchros on the field and use one to suicide into a stronger monster so that the other can deplete his atk.

It's basically a Synchro Union.

Except it isn't a Union.

and we know how bad Unions are.

Not.

If a Union is bad, it's probably because it's too specific on who it can be equipped to, or it's just a bad card, but the Union status in general isn't bad at all.

Thing is, Arms Aid is NOT a Union.

They do. Their best is a level 4 with 1,800 ATK. Sure, that level 5 guy has 2,000, but he's unreliable. Synchros completely kill them.

Which is why this Synchro is great. Although, you will probably realize this when I remind you that he cannot be destroyed as a result of battle, and you take no damage from battles involving this monster. He loves ramming Stardust.

What are you talking about? You'd just attack it, and then next turn destroy it.

You seem to have forgotten about Gale of the Hurricane.

Out of these three, Armory Arm is the best. The others require Blackwings, and therefore, are only useful in a Blackwing Deck or a crappy Deck that runs Blackwings but isn't a Blackwing Deck.
