Hello YCM and Pokevolution Fans. My name is J-Max, Team Leader of Pokevolution and I am here today to open a Application Thread for members to assist me on my Project.

 

Here's a little Backstory to the project. PKEV was found back in early 2008 and was a Ambitious Project to turn every Pokemon and other things including Trainers and Gym Leaders into fully Playable and balanced Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I was assisted for the first 5 Months or so by a good friend Haruno Sakura (Now known as Black Magician Girl) we worked together on the project like Clockwork, designing more and more fun and Unique concepts. The original Target was 600 cards and at the time of writing this is Currently 181. (The largest Pop Culture set on YCM)

 

Now I am looking for Promising Members to assist me in making YCM History by creating the largest ever Pop Culture Set.

 

There is 1 Major Rule, you must be abke to keep in contact with me Via MSN, Yahoo or AOL and be happy to participate in Group Convos to discuss ideas.

 

Please describe why you should be able to work with me. Also mention any Strengths you may hold, also please provide a Card or 2 so I can judge your Potential. My decision will also not be rushed. If you rush me then I will not allow you to work with me. I'm only looking for the best and most Patient Members.

I would like to be a card maker. ^_^

 

I can be got a hold of on MSN almost 24/7 and I check my PMs on here quite often. I don't really feel like telling you my strengths because I might over over exaggerate my abilities. But, I can say that I get better with each card I've made. As for the cards I will put up to be examined, I'll put up the ones from the contest you're currently holding.

Card Lore: When this card is activated, select 1 face-up "Seviper" or "Zangoose" on your side of the field. That card is treated as an Effect Monster. During each of your End Phases, pay 500 Life Points. If you do not, destroy this card. If the selected monster is removed from the field, destroy this card. If this card is destroyed, destroy the selected monster.

Card Lore: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. If "Zangoose" is not face-up on the field, this card is treated as a Normal Monster.

This card gains the following effects depending on the controller of "Zangoose".

● Opponent's side: If this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points, place 1 Poison Counter on this card. All monsters on your opponent's side of the field lose 100 ATK and DEF equal to the number of Poison Counters on this card. During your Standby Phase, you may remove 3 Poison Counters from this card. If you do, Draw 1 card.

● Your side: When a monster, other than this card, inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points, place 1 Tail Counter on this card. All monsters on your side of the field gain 50 ATK and DEF equal to number of Tail Counters on this card. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you may remove 5 Tail Counters on this card. If you do, select 1 face-up monster, other than this card, on your side of the field. That monster can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If this card destroyed your opponent's monster as a result of battle, it can attack once again in a row.

Card Lore: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. If "Seviper" is not face-up on the field, this card is treated as a Normal Monster.

This card gains the following effects depending on the controller of "Seviper".

● Opponent's side: This card gains 500 ATK. You can discard 2 cards from the top of your deck or 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 card your opponent controls.

● Your side: This card gains 500 DEF. At the cost of 500 Life Points, return 1 card from your Graveyard to the top of your deck. The deck is then shuffled.

You may get a hold of me by Yahoo. I'm not quite sure about my strengths, but I do know that I think I am pretty good at making card effects. I am also very creative. Just so you know my main weak point is making sigs. Here are some of my cards.( in my most recent creations i am trying to make them look realistic)

 

 

Effect:When this card is Flip Summoned, you can roll a die. If the result is a 2, 4, or 6, increase this monster's ATK and DEF by 1500 points. If the result is a 1, 3, or 5, destroy this card and inflict damage equal to this monster's ATK to your opponent's Life Points. If this monster battles with an Thunder-Type monster, decrease this monster's ATK and DEF by 300 points before the Damage Step. If this monster battles with a Pyro-Type monster, increase this monster's ATK and DEF by 300 points before the Damage Step.

 

 

Effect:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by sending 1 "Moltres Shade-Deity of Fire" from your side of the field to the Graveyard. If this monster battles with a Rock-Type monster, decrease this monster's ATK and DEF by 300 points before the Damage Step. If this monster battles with an Aqua-Type monster, increase this monster's ATK and DEF by 300 points before the Damage Step. During each Standby Phase, increase your Life Points by 200 points for each Thunder-Type monster in both player's Graveyards.

 

 

Effect:This card can only be equipped " Zapdos Shade-Deity of Thunder". Increase the equipped monster's ATK and DEF by 400 points. If the equipped monster would be destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead. Then, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, all Thunder-Type monsters gain 600 ATK until the end of your turn.

 

 

Effect:While this card is face-up on the field all Thunder, Winged-Beast, or Dragon-Type monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect, Special Summon 1 level 4 or under Thunder, Winged-Beast, or Dragon-Type monster from your deck.

Magikarp had 1 error. Cloud Shock had a few. But, all your cards are still good. By the way, we should probably stop spamming in here. It might lessen our chance to be recruited.

Ok by AOL im assuming AIM. I'm not comfortable with saying my SN in public so i'll pm you it.

 

I am VERY strong in finding very appealing pictures, so I've been told. I'd say I'm a 9/10 average on OCG. I have a lot of original ideas/effects, and very creative. I'm very apt of coming up with good ideas and/or balanced effects. I can debate/discuss well with others.

Effect: This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. By paying 1000 Life Points, you can halve this monster's original ATK and DEF to halve 1 of your opponent's monster's original ATK and DEF. During the Damage Step that this card attacks a face-down Dragon-Type monster, increase the ATK of this card by 300 until the End Phase of this turn. Each time this card destroys a Machine-Type monster with an ATK of 1500 or higher, put 1 Alloy Counter on this card (max. 3). By removing 1 Alloy Counter from this card, increase this card's DEF by 200.

Effect: "Serpent Night Dragon" + "Seiyaryu"

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type monster. This card can only be Special Summoned from your Fusion Deck by removing from play the above cards on your side of the field. (You do not use "Polymerization".) This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF is decreased for each Level 4 or higher WATER monster on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, if one of the Fusion Material Monsters above are Special Summoned to the field from the Graveyard in face-up Attack Position, increase this card's ATK by 700 and your Life Points by 3000.

Effect: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 200 for each FIRE monster on the field, and decrease this card's ATK and DEF by 200 for each THUNDER card on the field. If this card is destroyed, you can pay 1000 Life Points to return this card to the top of you Deck, then shuffle your Deck.

In your first post, I'm not sure if there have been any cards added, but you say you have 181, which you say is the biggest pop culture set. If I had just put my SSBB cards in Pop Culture instead of Finished Sets, I think it would be bigger, because it has 193 cards. I just wanted to say that.

Sorry for my lack of all things Pokevolution lately. I have a lot of games for my PSP and am hooked lol. I have to put them before YCM of course. Once I get back onto YCM full time again i'll study all applicants carefully and also tell YCM a bit more about the SCO.
