Mysty Posted February 16, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 Yeah, E - Elaborate Future probably is, despite the fact that you can't use it when you are at 4000 or below Life Points. Also, that card was based on the Magic the Gathering card Doomsday. When I wrote Elaborate Future, I only had the Weatherlight version, so I went with that wording. I can't believe it was reprinted in 6th edition. I might reword Elaborate Future in light of this. As for the Final Countdown, it doesn't entirely stop Final Countdown, but it slows it down a few turns. Link to comment

All I need now is a few more Level 4 and lower non-Tuner monsters and some more Time Spells and Traps and this archetype will probably be complete. And I adjusted the color of the Dark Synchro rule to gray because it shows that way on yugioh wikia and on the cards. Link to comment

Warrior of Time - XenoEARTH / Level 4[Warrior/Tuner]ATK/1400 DEF/1400During each of your Standby Phases, put 1 Time Counter on this card. This card gains effects for the number of Time Counter(s) on it.1+: When this card attacks a monster whose ATK are higher than this card's ATK, by sending 1 "Time Spell" to the Graveyard, that monster is automatically destroyed.2+: This card is not destroyed by battle.3+: When a "Time Trap" is activated, it becomes an Equip Spell Card and equip it to this card. This card gains the effects of the "Time Trap".4+: For every "Time Spell" on the field, increase the level of this card by 1 for every "Time Spell" on the field. Time Reverser - LeonEARTH / Level - 4[Warrior/Dark Synchro/Effect]ATK/1800 DEF/1200In order to Special Summon this card, subtract the Level of a Dark Tuner monster from the Level of 1 other monster you control; the value must equal the Level of this card.Once per turn, place a Time Reverse Counter on each face-up monster your opponent controls. I was thinking of some time cards of my own that uses dimensional tokens that represent the passage of time(coming soon in the written card section). Everyone here, please read them. I could see it being Limited or Semi-Limited, but not banned. E - Elaborate Future Plans would most likely be Limited, based on the fact that you stack your deck and it can be heavily abused with Return from the Different Dimension. I personally would like to run this archetype. Then again, I would run all of my archetypes if I made enough support.Many of this archetype's Spells and Traps don't activate immediately. The purpose of Warped Timeline is to get the opponent to play by that restriction. That can be devastating to some decks and not so devastating to others. Frustration is a side effect.Anyway, I'll probably invent a few monsters and a few more Spells and Traps and this archetype will be finished. Then again, sometimes an archetype is never "finished." I may just continue to add support for some time. Link to comment

Since the set's still around though, my comment is that it's a nice theme, although slightly huge and a bit of a monster to read through them all. I like the idea of Time Counters slowing things down but sometimes the time slow seems to extreme maybe? I couldn't be sure. Link to comment
