§hadow §triker
well if you know so much about it then please' date=' give me an example of the perfect ocg.[/quote'] How is this: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Call of Darkness. When this card destroys an opponent's monster as a result of battle activate one of the following effects:• Discard 1 DARK monster from your hand to Special Summon the destroyed monster on your side of the field.• Discard 2 Spell cards from your hand to Ritual Summon "The Dark Lord" from your deck or hand.^That is perfect OCG i believe. Sartorius
OCG = Official Card Game AND OCG = Official Card Grammar The two acronyms being so alike are confusing. (Personally, I feel Offical Card Grammar should be renamed to something less clashy)

J-Max
Official Card Grammar is the Building Blocks of most Card Designs. The effect needs to have wordings and phrases that would appear on a real Trading card like "you control" and "remove from play" Also yes it's a very good thing. You won't get far in creating cards without it.
bradthecanivingfootlicker
Yeah, Official Card Grammar means that you're saying things like "Remove from play" instead of things like "This cards leaves the game." So using OCG is good. Using it will make people rate your cards much higher than they would originally. And incase you're wondering, OP'd means overpowered.
