Doom yes any other game like Doom yes i have played so many game like Doom be it the original(good the AIs a pain) or Quake i could do it... i may die a few times but give me a shotgun and a soda and well i can get through it unscratched, well maybe with a few broken bones. if its not resident evil 4 i will die of bad camera angles, same as Silent Hill, in that game i will be a ball and crying for my mommy most of the time. the other one never played it, so do not.

The problem with this is that the way a person acts in real life is very different from the scripted actions of a character in-game. One of the Alex Rider books explained it pretty good, can't remember the name right now. A character might know how to handle a machinegun or a plasma rifle or whatever weapons shooters use these days, but no, I surely don't.

For the sake of the poll, you're just in the scenario of the games. You would follow the path of the game that the main characters would. If you have to interact with someone, the game will push forward (Although the convos could still get a bit wild if you felt like it, the end result of said convos will always be the same to push the game forward)

 

So far, seems that people would be able to survive Doom or Resident Evil and Silent Hill is the worst one to be in.

I think another factor is do you have the same training the main characters do in the game (if you don't have the marine training in Doom, you don't have much chance)
