PS3. X360 has quite a few good FPS games' date=' but most of them are also available for PC. And if it's available for PC there's gonna be no way I want it for anything else. (except for World of Goo).

I own neither.

ditto, I mean come on even Halo is on the computer >.>

just get a good computer and a PS3. Computer is obviously a necessity so it's all a matter of some extra money to have it pumped it =P

think of it like phones. The PS3 is like the iphone. Everyone wants one but only because its what everybody thinks is best. But there are better phones out there. The 360 is one of the better phones. So most people buy the ps3 for just the name like the iphone but with the 360 you buy it because you like it so the 360 is better.

I own neither.

And in order to play, I have to go over to my uncles house.

Despite that the 360 has a better library? It's not what I want in a console. And the controller makes me cringe. I'd rather have a Ps3...

Whatever lead the 360 has at the moment is solely due to the release date. In the long run, I have no doubt that the PS3 will become the top gaming console, comparing both machine's potential. The PS3's is far greater.

At the moment, yes, for real gamers the 360 is better - no, more accurately, it has more and better options in the market. But in the long run, I doubt any PS3 owner will regret their choice.

Regardless, PS3 games' prices are absolutely ridiculous. Avid players won't care too much, but me for example, I don't even earn my own salary. I have to weigh my options for days before I settle on buying a game. So far, I only got 3, and that's 210 euros out the window right there. :/

Also PS3 is losing its third party producers. Developers actually prefer programming for the 360 and sony has admitted this. In a recent press conference when asked about this Hirai responded "We dont provide 'easy to program for' console that means anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do."

His words not mine. Seems like a bit silly, surely PS3 should be trying to attract good exculsives not turning them away

I own both systems, and I think both of them are good. Most features are the same. Xbox has cool features like seeing what other players are doing, with the ability to join their game, being able to play your music in games, getting demos earlier and the party system.

But Xbox charges more for extras like arcade games and movies than the PS3. And that's before you even pay to use Live. PS3 also has a crapload of features like built in internet, the ability to transfer music on to your PS3 from a USB and more.

Everything is pretty much the same thing with a different name. :/

I have to admit, I would love to have that feature

360> PS3

Mainly because I own a 360.

this is the suckiest reasoning ever.

I'll have to agree with Altair. The fact i own a Wii doesn't mean it's the best console ever. Plus' date=' i recently started liking PS3 more.

360. PS3 sucks.

Reverse it.

PS3 online community>Xbox online community

Win.

First of all i prefer the 360 because of the games for it and its epic online play. The controles are easy to use and i like a lot of the games for the console, and it doesnt have many problems

Second comes the PS3. I do not like it even tough online play is free . it is also very laggy online. it has many flaws such as these examples whice happened to mine and my friends PS3

~ Mine: Disc tray not working so game doesnt spin in PS3 and therefore does not play and PS3 can to sense the disk

~ Friend: Not allowing games to be played, comes with an error: Please insert a playable disk.

and another bad thing about PS3 is that it is WAY overpacked, i mean come on there is a Blu-ray disk player. that also slows down the performance of the PS3 and the last thing im going to say about the PS3 is that most games require youto install them fort (install time can take up to 1 hour) and if you dont play a game for a prolonged amount oftime then it delets your save data for that game.

I was looking at the Graphics comparison and apparently the Xbox 360 won in graphics, but I thought they looked pretty much the same. The only problem I would have to say with a 360 is that to play online, you have to pay. As opposed to the PS3, which you just hook it up and play, but the 360 adds more user interactivity which kinda makes up for the Xbox Live thing.

Basically, I own a 360, but sometimes, only sometimes, I wish I had bought a PS3. Anyways, I made my decision to buy the 360 instead of the PS3 and I am going to stand on my opinion; the 360 is better.
