Tuesday - Jan, 31 - 2013

 

Narrator: As we begin our tale we see a young boy, no more than 17, sleeping in. He's going to be the next Duel Monsters King he belives, but what if, for some reason, he was being used?

 

Random Little Girl: KYLE!!!!!!

 

The little girl yelled in my ear. I jumped up looking around and saw Mary running out of my room. I'm Kyle Northes and Mary is my little sister. I had the same dream again last night. The same dream that I had been having more and more ever since my parents died and had left a note. I now lived with my friend John Revington and my sister came with me...

 

Kyle: MARY!!!! WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT COMING IN MY ROOM?????

 

I yelled at the top of my lungs. Then I heard another more faint voice coming from the hallway. I walked over and saw John standing there with Mary tucked between his arms a deathly bear hug.

 

Mary: Put me down John!!! Pleeeeeeeease!!!

 

She squrimmed and squrimmed but couldn't escape his grasp of doom. He started to laugh, and so did I.

 

John: Why Mary? You were in his room weren't you? You know the rules: Stay out of other people's buisiness. So that includes his room, understand?

 

She looked like she was about to cry so John let her drop to the floor and walked into my room. I followed and we sat on the floor. My room was like being in solitary confinement except with the occasional red splotch. Don't ask.

 

John: You have that dream again, mate?

 

He said it as he looked at the new red spot on the wall. He lifted the sleeve of my shirt and saw a giant gash in it.

 

Kyle: Yeah. But I can't remember what I did before I went to bed. I remember opening the window to get some cool air and then I lacked out.

 

He looked at me with the that's-the-dumbest-thing-I've-ever-heard face on.

 

John: Uh-huh. So what was the dream this time anything new?

 

Kyle: Actually, yes. This time there was alot more blood, bodies and I looked like a giant freakin mutant dog! I looked in the mirror of a car that was near the body of a girl abour our age. I heard a crunching noise and when I turned around, the teen chick slammed a knife in my face, blade-first. Thats when I woke up.

 

Then John's mom, Angela, called us. And then we totally felt like idiots.

 

Angela: Are you guys still here?? I thought you were going to try out for the Neosha Battle Tournament today!!! Well if you change your mind your duel disk's, and decks are down here.

 

Then we heard the opening of cupboards, and the shuffling of pans. Oh my god!! We were going to be so late!!!

 

John: Come on man!!

 

He was already half way out the door by the time I stood up. I reached the bottom of the stairs and John tossed me my Duel Disk. WE bolted out the door and I jumped on the front of my Alpha Wheeler. John jumped on the back after loading food that he somehow snuck in all the comotion in the back and placed our disks in the back to. Then he jumped on my bike and we took off, getting ready to meet our destiny!!

Tuesday - Jan, 31 - 2013

 

I felt alive. That's how I always feel when I'm riding on my motorcycle. The term Alpha Wheeler came from Yusei Fudo's design back in 2008, except now it has a better mileage and can go from 0-140 in 5.8 seconds. That's why they only made one. For my dad.

 

John: Hey, Kyle! Don't you know that kid? Yeah that's Chester! He used to play with us when we were little, but then he moved away.

 

John pointed over to the left at a kid sitting on his doorstep listening to god-knows-what on his I-pod. He was right, it was Chester! But what was he doing here?

 

Kyle: Yo, Chester!!! Chester!!!

 

I yelled as we slowed to a stop in front of the house. The kid looked up as I yelled at him, and he jumped up with suprise and glee.

 

Chester: Do I know you?

 

He looked as if we were aliens. Nah-duh. It had been like 15 years since we last saw him.

 

Kyle: Dude! It's Kyle Northes and John Revington!

 

He looked at us with a new expression: dis-belief.

 

Chester: Oh, my, god!!!! It is you guys!!!

 

He ran over and gave us really big unneccesary hugs. When he let us go, he just stared at us.

 

John: What are you doing here, mate? I thoughts you were in California!

 

Chester: Well, I was. Then we heard about the tourney and came back here. Turn on the radio, it's on channel 101.9!

 

As I turned it on he looked at my ride like it was covered in gold. Then I heard it. Those fateful words that scared me half to death. Literally.

 

Radio Announcer #1: This just in! The story of The Neosha Lycan has been claimed the most frightening thing in the entire globe. WE also just recieved word that 48 people died in the park last night with no traces of human contact whatsoever. Here we have a real life witness, and the only survivor of the attack: Katie Right, age 17. Katie how are you today?

 

Katie: I'm fine Ted thanks for asking.

 

Ted: You're quite welcome, Katie. Now, please describe the scene last night for our listeners.

 

Katie: Sure thing Ted. Well, I was taking a walk around the park with my little sister when we started to hear screaming. We started to run away from the noise when it got closer. It felt like we were on a treadmill, we kept running and it kept moving in! The next thing I know, I'm on the ground against some busty-old car and my baby sister gets snatched up by a dog that had to be at least 8ft tall, with dark-red hair, razors for teeth and breath so hot that it dented the outer-coating of the car. I heard my sister screaming then it was gone. Then the snarling changed into what sounded like a teenage-boy's. It said "Were am I? How did I get here...Is that me??????" Then the monster was looking at the side mirror of the car. Faster than I imagined I whipped out the pocket knife my dad bought me before he past away and slammed it into I thought was the monsters face, and then it was gone. Faster than a bullet, quicker than death itself.

 

Ted: Thank you Katie now if I...

 

I turned the radio off, sweat breaking out on my skin. I looked at John who stared at me in dis-belief. And then He turned off topic and asked Chester a question.

 

John: Yo, Chester. Ya wanna come with us to the Tourney?

 

He smiled quickly and took a few steps back.

 

Chester: First I wanna duel. That way I know if I'm good enough to come wih you guys.

 

John: Chester, are you serious? Don't you need your Duel Disk and Deck first?

 

Chester whipped something out of his back-pocket and pressed a button. The small disk he was holding folded out into a full-chrome painted Duel Disk, complete with a deck.

 

Kyle: I'll duel you Chester! Let's get it on!!!

Tuesday - Jan, 31 - 2013

 

I stepped off my Alpha Wheeler, went around to the back and pulled out my Duel Disk. I walked over to him and we stood on either sides of the front lawn.

 

Chester: Okay. I'll go first.

 

Life point counters flicker on up to 8000.

 

Chester: I'll set one card face-down. Hmmm... Then I'll activate the Spell Card 'Grim Grisly Gal'.

 

A young girl appears on the field holding a blood-stained sycthe.

 

Chester: This card's effect allows me to Special Summon it into my Monster Card Zone as a monster in DEF position! Then I'll summon Gothic Assailant in ATK position and end my turn.

 

A man with a shining white robe armed with an arsenal of bizzare looking weapons appears on the field, holding two engilsh broad-swords.

 

Kyle's Mind: That was a pretty good strategy. But not as good as mine!

 

Kyle: I Summon Force Warrior from my hand in face-up ATK position!

 

A man with a dark red cape and a green robe appears on the field. It appears that he's meditating.

 

Kyle: Then I'll activate Force Jump. This card allows me to Special Summon my Force Commando in ATK position!

 

A giant creature with a body like Frankenstiens appears on the field with seven razor-blades sprouting from his hands.

 

Kyle: Then I'll activate the Spell card known as Destny Revealed! This allows my Commando to attack you directly at the cost of 1000 Life Points.

 

The hulking monster crouches on the field and springs forward spinning sideways like a missile. He hits Chester and then does a backflip so big that it covers the whole lawn dark for a moment and lands back on Kyle's side of the field.

 

LifePoints: 8000-2200= 5800

Kyle - 8000

Chester - 5800

 

Kyle: Now my warrior will attack your Grim Grisly Girl with '5-star Rampage'! Attack!!!

 

The caped man rushes forward and throws 3 throwing-knives and 2 gas-grenades at the girl and she dissolves.

 

Kyle: AAAAGGGHGGGHGGHGGG!!!!!!!!! What happened???

 

LifePoints: 8000 - 1000 = 7000

5800 - 1000 = 4800

Kyle = 7000

Chester = 4800

 

Chester: PFFFFF!!!!! That was funny!! When my card was destroyed we each take 1000 points of damage. And I think you just wet-your pants!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

 

Chester started laughing like a maniac, and then John started laughing to!

 

Kyle: Whatever, can we continue this duel? I end my turn.

 

Chester: 'Bout time! Okay... I'll activate Gothic Castle!

 

The entire street block becomes one giant village and then Chesters house becomes a giant castle.

 

Chester: This card allows my fellow DARK Warriors to be granted immortality. Then I'll equip my Assailant with my Onyx Wings Spell Card.

 

Giant black wings sprout from the assailants back and he starts to fly towards the castle. He then lands on the roof and stands as still as a statue.

 

Chester: While equipped with my wings, my assailant can attack you directly! But his ATK is lowered by 500. Now Attack!!!!

 

The assailant jumps off the roof of the building, glides over to Force Warrior and stabs him with what looks like a 3-sided blade. The creature explodes and the assailant flies back over to the roof of the castle.

 

Life Points: 7000 - 100 = 6900

Kyle = 6900

Chester = 4800

 

Chester: My turn is done!

 

Kyle: Okay. Ummm... Uggggghhh.

 

Life Points: 6900 - 500 = 6400

Kyle = 6400

Chester = 4800

 

Kyle: I'll continue. I activate the Spell Card, Hidden Among The Trees. This card allows you to Special Summon your Grim Grisly Girl to your side of the field, but you lose 1000 Life Points.

 

Life Points: 4800 - 1000 = 3800

Kyle = 6400

Chester = 3800

 

Kyle: Then I'll activate The Castle of The Moon.

 

Chesters castle erupts in a briliant flame and is replaced my a blood-red castle with 4 moons circling it.

 

Kyle: This card allows me to Special Summon my Force Warrior back to my side of the field. And now I think it's time you know that Force Warrior is a Tuner-type monster. So now I'll Synchro Summon my 2 Force monsters to Summon 'Force Monarch - Zhulah'!

 

The field in front of Kyle erupts in a shower of white, blue, red, green, and black colors. The colors swirl around each other until a 10ft tall creature with the biggest muscles ever, and only wearing a loin cloth forms.

 

Kyle: I cannot attack with my creature this turn so I end my turn.

 

Chester: Heh-heh... I Activate the Spell Card 'Reverse Greed'. This card allows me to draw two extra cards. Now I'll Summon my Fetid Warrior #1 and activate my Moonlight Memories Spell Card! By tributingmy Grim Grisly Girl and my Gothic Assailant I can Special Summon my Gothic Lord - Kki Ono!

 

A woman dressed in blue coat with a white shirt and a white skirt, with silver hair and a silver ribbon tying her hair in a ponytail.

 

Chester: Then I'll activate your Castle of the Moon's effect and Special Summon my Gothic Assailant from my graveyard. Then I'll activate my second 'Reverse Greed' and draw two more cards.

 

John: Kyle watch out!!! Thats his best move now I know where Ive seen this deck before!

 

But Kyle wasn't paying attention.

 

Chester: I'll now activate my face-down Trap Card 'Realm of Silence'! You take Life Point damage equal to the amount of Life Points I have.

 

Life Points: 6400 - 3800 = 2600

Kyle = 2600

Chester = 3800

 

Chester: Now I'll activate Ookazi. You lose 800 Life Points!

 

Life Points: 2600 - 800 = 1800

Kyle = 1800

Chester = 3800

 

Chester: And now I'll activate my Gothic Lord's effect. I tribute my assailant to flip a coin...

 

The coin flips repeatdly in the air. Then it lands on the ground.

 

Chester: You lose 2000 Life Points because it landed on heads! I WIN!!!!!!!!

 

Life Points: 1800 - 2000

Kyle = -200

Chester = 3800

The duel simulation ends and he walks over to the Alpha Wheeler and gets on the back.

 

Chester: YA COMIN????

 

Then I started walking over to the bike and we sped off straight off to the tourney.

Tuesday - Jan, 31 - 2013

 

We arrived at the Neosha Battle Dome just as they we're closing the front doors.

 

Kyle: HEY WAIT, HOLD ON!!!!!!

 

The man that had just started to lock the doors turned around, and looked directly at us.

 

Janitor: WHAT DO YOU WANT?

 

We slowed down and parked next to the door.

 

Kyle: We want to get inside for the tournament. Is that okay?

 

The janitor looked at us solemnly.

 

Janitor: Yeah how many are participating?

 

John: All three of us.

 

Janitor: Okay. I need to see your Duelist ID's.

 

John, Chester and I all pulled out small, rectangular objects with flashy red paint jobs. Johns had the words 'Necro Duelist' engraved on his in blue, mine said 'Renagade Advanced' in yellow and Chesters said 'Master Summoner' in green.

 

Janitor: Okay you there on the right let me see yours.

 

I handed him my Duelist ID. And the Janitor opened it.

 

Duelist ID:

Hello. My name is Kijoy. How may I be of assistance?

 

Janitor: Instructors name is LK-9652231, override protocol 239-34/Alpha-2. Reason for override, Section 88, Subsection 42, Paragraph 2, Sentence 76. Operator Kijoy repeat understanding protocol.

 

Duelist ID:

Instructors name is Luke Kumbayeri, resector number is 9652231, overide protocol 239 - 34/ All Lead Phase Hacked All - 2. Reason for overide is Kyle Northes Mizeko is entering tournament and should be registered at all times under the Tourney Name: 'Renegade K'. Is that understood Instructor LK-9652231?

 

Luke: That is correct.

 

He hands me back my Duelist ID and does the exact same thing for John and Chesters.

 

Luke: Okay go on in. But first I need to make sure you know your Torney Challenge Names. Start with your First name and Tourney Name. Go fromt he left.

 

Kyle: Kyle - Renegade K

 

John: John - Necro J

 

Chester: Chester - Mister Magicbunnyman

 

We all laughed at Chesters. Then we gathered ourselves and walked with Luke down the corridors.

 

Luke: Okay. You will be staying in Room 34 on the Second Floor of the building. First matches are tommorrow at 7:00 AM. This here is the Duelist Lounge where you can free duel and chat with others, There is a reason this lounge is 40 by 40 feet huh! Over there is the Cafeteria where you will be served Breakfeast, Lunch and Dinner. Over here is the Library where you have all the statistics for Dueling and Normal Books for reading. And finally this is the Duel Arena. You can guess what this is for. And that concludes our tour.

 

We all looked at each other for a minute and then Luke left on an assignment he had to complete before he retired for the night.

 

Kyle: Why don't we head on up to our room and check it out?

 

John: Sure let's go.

 

Chester: Alright but I get a top bunk!

 

Then we all raced up the stairs and down the hall to our room. When we got there, there was someone on the bottom bunk with his head covered with a pillow.

 

John: Hello? Ummm. Who are you?

 

Person: Hmmmughhtyyereiohd.

 

John: What?

 

Person: I SAID CLOSE THE DOOR YOURE LETTING THE DARK IN!!!!

 

John closed the door once we were inside and found the room to be extremely bright.

 

Chester: May I ask who you are, man?

 

Person: My name is Chumley. My parents named me after that TV show YuGiOh GX!

 

Kyle: Do you like to eat? Or are you a card maker?

 

Chester, John and I burst into an extreme case of laughitis right then.

 

Chumley: I happen to be neither. I am just here to partake in this Dueling Activity.

 

He looked like a giant blueberry that had just came out of the oven, except he wasn'e fat.

 

Chester: It's okay man we're just joking around. So like where did you...

 

Chester was cut off because of a screeching noise outside of the building. Before we could even relize that it was a siren Chumley was already at the window looking out. He opened it and the voices of angels floated throught the window.

 

Voices:

Hello, to all.

We bid you farewell.

Unless we have our king you shall...

 

Then the voices stopped singing and we heard a booming voice.

 

Voice: WHAT DO YOU WANT ARCHANGELS??????????????

 

Archangels: You know what we want Forefollower! We want our king, we want to take him back with us to the other side. We know he's here. Except now he goes by the name: 'Necro J'.

 

We all looked at John, even Chumley.

 

John: I don't know them! Really!!!

 

Voice: THERE IS SOMEONE HERE WHO GOES BY THAT NAME, BUT HE MUST DUEL YOU TO LEAVE THIS PLACE. HE WINS HE STAYS HE LOSES HE LEAVES. NOW COME OUT JOHN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

We looked once again out the window to see where the booming voice came from and then I fainted. Standing outside our window about 30 feet diagnal from john, the one they called The Forefollower, was my dad. Dressed in a navy blue shirt and green turbo pants. The only problem was that he looked stronger in alot of ways, he was floating, and... he was supposed to be dead.

Tuesday - Jan, 31 - 2013

 

When I woke up, we were on the ground, outside in the duel arena. The benches were packed and it was still dark out. John had taken his side of the field and a girl, no more than 18, was standing opposite him. They both had their duel disks ready and were starting the duel. Then I heard a voice.

 

Voice: IS HE OKAY?????

 

The voice was very deep, and sounded like it belonged to a 45 year old man. Heh-heh, i thought to myself. My dad was 45 when he died. I rolled over and looked at who was concerned about me. Then I screamed and shot straight up off the ground. My dad was standing, no FLOATING, off the ground about 4 feet away from me.

 

Kyle: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Then my dad looked over at me.

 

Kyle's Dad: Hello son! Long time no see, ay?

 

I looked at him with my eyes almost popping out of my head.

 

Kyle: You...You're dead! I went to your funeral! Who are you????

 

He looked at me like I was a blind monkey holding a banna rifle loaded with chocalate syrup.

 

KD: Yes, about that. I am dead! But when I got to the other side the Followers, what the angels over there are called, named me their king. Then I realized that your mom hadn't made it with me. I spent 900 'Z-Years' over there searching. Oh, sorry Z-Years to you guys are like a week over there. Anyways, when I found a final good lead, it lead me down to the Bottom World, thats what you kids call 'Hades' nowadays, and I found her. But she had spent to long down there and had taken on the ability to shapeshift into 6 teenage girls who called them selves the Syrene Harmonies.

 

Kyle: Okay, sure. Now tell me more about these 'Syrene Harmonies'.

 

KD: Okay well, The Syrene Harmonies, each possessed a special gift, and were extrodinary duelists. Samantha, the S in Syrene, had the ability to predict and change the future at will, but I eliminated her ability to change the future by cutting off her third arm. Yes, THIRD arm. Yolanda, the Y in Syrene, possessed the ability to control fire. Rekisha, the R in Syrene, possessed the ability to read minds and control water. Elizabeth, the E in Syrene, could destroy anything with just a touch, so she wears gloves. Necrolai, the N in Syrene is John's long-lost sister. Never told you that did he? And finally the traitor among them that works for the Followers is Ezaxfdtyhwq, the final E in Syrene, everyone calls her 'Oppolite' though because she controls light and its opposite.

 

Kyle: ...............

 

I stared at him in disbelief then he turned his attention to the duel arena.

 

KD: The one out there dueling John is Necrolai. And that duel sure will be fun huh! Oh and since I'm dead dont call me dad. Call me...

 

Kyle: How about I call you Mister M. Because none of my friends know who you are yet.

 

Mister M: Okay. but what does the M stand for?

 

Kyle: Ha! It stands for Mystery!

 

Then we both turned our attention to the duel, just as Chumley let one rip right in front of us. He had bent over to tie his shoe.

 

Chumley: Oopps! Sorry!

 

Mister M, Kyle, Chumley, Chester: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
