Name: Rowena Talbain

Age: 23

Type of Pokemon: Steel

Pokemon: Empoleon, Metang, Lairon, Riolu, Forretress, Skarmory

Bio: Despite common belief, Rowena actually started with a Pineco. This explains why her Forretress is so strong. Rowena started her journey in Johto, and came to this region after attempting to face the Elite Four in Johto. She took the position of gym leader from the previous one after she faced her, and now her badge is called the 'Iron Heart' badge. She adopted her Piplup from a trainer that had abandoned it (oh how corny). She is the eighth Gym Leader.

you know nakashima means "inside island" or "inside strip". Those would be good names for cities though. Considering that the place is a whole bunch of islands.

@badstinky: You can't catch a pokemon if yours faints. Chance of finding staravia that fast 0:10000000 so tough luck

 

Ben was sitting on the edge of a bridge tossing stones into the water, watching the ripples shudder of the small pond, where people could come if they wanted to catch Magikarp. Of course, these Magikarp were specially bred for ponds.

 

Ben looked over to the small town on his island, Mizou. There was a poster that said "Join the Eternal Bonds, we are an Elite Organization"

 

While looking around, Ben saw some other Trainers headed for the bridge, but decided to warn them of the collapse ahead. (bridge is out)

OoC: I guess I'll start RPing.

IC: Ryuuta walked into his gym. The gym interior was decorated like a dojo. "Ah Ipponji-sama, the dojo has been cleaned to your specifications." said a gym ward has Ryuuta walked past him. He walked to the stark white arena and observed it quietly. All my training and labours have given me this. Ryuuta walked to the high point of the gym and silently observed his gym. Suddenly, a hotshot looking Pokemon trainer burst in and shouted "I'm gunna beat whoever runs this gym in a second! No one can stop me!". Ryuuta looked down coldly at the trainer and said "Fine then! Choose your Pokemon and show me your worthiness for the Chikara badge!" The trainer sent out a Spiritomb. "HAHA! Your pathetic Normal-types can't hit Ghost-types!" Ryuuta observed the trainer for a second, then shouted "Fine then. Castform! GO!" His Castform burst out. "Ooo, a Castform! I'm sooo scared! HA!" mocked the trainer, "Spiritomb! Use Dark Pulse NOW!" The Spiritomb released a dark wave of evil thoughts. The Castform simply floated out of the way. "Good. Now use Hail!" commanded Ryuuta. The Castform produced a cloud that started to create a hailstorm within the Gym. The Castform then promptly transformed into its Hail form. The Spiritomb was getting irritated by the falling ice. "Now end this with Weather Ball!" shouted Ryuuta. The Castform released a ball of energy that rose up and shot down an icy energy that sent the Spiritomb flying into its trainer, KOing it instantly. "Whaa...?" muttered the trainer as he dragged himself out of the gym. The gym wards rushed to Ryuuta. "Amazing strength Ipponji-sama!" praised the gym wards. Ryuuta replied "Fools like him deserve a punishing from me." and walked away.

Ben told the Trainers that the bridge was in need of repairs and a team of Workers was out there right now. The bridge, Trainer Bridge, was a hot spot for Rookie Trainers that were wanting to battle. The town on the other side had a gym as well, so the islands were cut off completely.

Rowena had been snoozing in her gym, all her pokemon released and helping with the metal workers still repairing the damage from the last battle. 'Forretress, next time you go for a Gyro Ball, AIM at the opponent' one complained, welding a plate to the wall. Forretress merely just floated as it Magnet rised a worker to a different spot. 'Eh, Forry's just enthusiastic, that last match against Quilava got it excited enough to really do some damage, besides, you're still getting paid for this' Rowena said, waking up. 'Err, right ma'am,so, any new designs for this renovation? Cause, we can do pillars very cheap'. 'Nah, I prefer open field, easier to hit, and get hit' Rowena said, picking up Riolu and giving it a cuddle, to which it responded in kind. 'Oh miss, it appears no new trainers have come to town, I think you've scared them off' the gym info guy said. 'No biggy, it's about time we got a relax day' she mumbled, getting back to her chair and snoozing.

Tasaki walked over to Trainer Bridge was under repairs "aw man... sorry Roserade" Roserade jumped out of the bushes with some Red and Blue Roses on its head "oh, Hi..." se said looking at Ben "I'm Tasaki Truesdale, of the Elite Four, and who are you?"

Chris walks on the island of Sakumia. A rather small island toward the south of the territory. The town is rather small. Chris starts walking out of his house with three pokemon. "Wow the sun is bright today."

Jade wondered around, Leafline running by her side. Today she was going to try and capture something, regardless of how big or small it would be. A Wurmple suddenly leapt out from behind a bush. Perfect, thought Jade, something just the right size.

 

"Leafline, razor leaf!" she yelled. At once a green leaf smacked the Wurmple, causing it to slide backwards. It reacted quickly and used its string shot. Leafline very narrowly dodged the move. "Give it another razor leaf!" Another leaf hit the bug. The Wurmple crawled forwards and slammed its head against Leafline with all its might. "Let's give it a taste of it's own medicine, tackle him but gently!" Leafline nodded and hit the Wurmple with his forehead. "OK, stop!" Jade threw a Pokeball and caught the bug. Cheering, she raised the Pokeball victoriously and continued on her way.

(Meanwhile in the Hioroth City Gym Zach and the city Gym Leader Horus where having a friendly match) Zach: Dusknior, Sahow Ball!

 

Horus: you too Houndoom shadow ball! (the 2 pokemon fired their attacks but both attacks cancelled each other out with a large explosion) Houndoom, use flamethrower! (the fire attack cut threw the smoke and headed towards dusknior but the ghost and his trianer where ready)

 

Zach: now dusknior, substitute! (a decoy was created and flamethrower hit it head on causing it to be destoryed, however when Horus looked around dusknior was no where in sight)

 

Horus: hm? where did he.....

 

Zach: dusknior, use dark pulse! (the attack was a direct hit from the side, dusknior his houndoom full on and knocked it out)
