Look, I am fully prepared to acknowledge that Blissey is a good pokemon. She is a very good Pokemon. Her mamoth HP and Special Walling abilities, plus her ability to stall practically infinitly, make her one of the best there is.

 

But never, ever, EVER have I used her, nor do I ever plan to. Why? It's called integrity. She's good to the point of being broken, and there is no such thing as originality when using her. Anyone could pluck one up and build up a formidible wall with little to no effort.

 

I don't care how good she is, I refuse to touch the cheap little thing, and I frown at people who openly acknowledge how cheap she is and yet continually use her.

 

That means I'm frowning at you, Dark. D=

 

@Golden: Sure, anyone is free to enter. But you have to be able to either battle over wifi or via Shoddy, so be ready for that. The entry thread will be posted soon - I gotta figure out what rules I'm using, and I might wait till Felix's tourney progresses to the semifinals.

I never liked her either competitively. When she was introduced(when I first started playing poke), I was probably the first to recognize her passive and stalling strength: the second she became popular, I released her.

She is broken. She should be in the uber/hacked tier for bieng so good. Or maybe just banned altogether.

To be fair with 714 Hp and max Def it still takes Physical hits quit well. It only takes half from a max ATK Electivire's Cross Chop. If you read back we have been jabroniing about the thing but don't call it bad, it's just broken. Anyway the idea is you have a Physical Wall and a Special Wall not a Pokemon that fills both roles indefinitely. If you don't want to use Blissey then there are quite a few options. Telling you though, spoils the fun of finding a good one.

I know what you mean by either physical or special walls but it could have at least an acceptable DEF e.g. 250 BTW are there any DeF increasing moves blissey could use?

Did you not read, the thing dose fine takeing Physical hits. Max hp and Def make Blissey more than cappable of surviving the majority of Physical Attacks.

If Blissey is invincible, how come an Adaptability Pory-Z with Nasty Plot can do over 70% with Hyper Beam?

No matter what you say Dark you know we're right. She's an isnsanely OU pink whore, not relying on it shows skill. By all means at a tournament level, use it but it's still undniably the best Special Wall in the game which makes her broken and boring.

Aromatherapy is one of the best moves in the game, don't argue with me. The thing heals all status from all your Pokemon which means your team can freely use Rest, And you can heal your team amtes from crippling status that would otherwise make them a dead wate.

To be fair it was a pretty nub cake mistake to make:/ You insulted the power of Aromatherapy, ignored the lame 60% accuracy of Sing and assumed a Pokemon could be effected by Sleep and Toxic at the same time.

What's a better overall physical wall? Steelix or Skarmory? They both have their ups and downs but I just cant decide
