In a double battle, Machamp, Alakazam, Dewgong.

 

1.) Send out the Machamp and Alakazam.

2.) Machamp can do anything, let Alakazam Skill Swap. Now Machamp has whatever and Alakazam has No Guard.

3.) Switch Machamp out for Dewgong.

4.) Let Alakazam use Skill Swap. Now Dewgong has No Guard and Alakazam has whatever.

5.) "Sweep" with Sheer Cold, as it will never miss.

Your Doubles strategy fails in the fact that Dewgong moves at the speed of moss.

Uhm, how about no? Dewgong has Base 90 HP, Base 80 Def and Base 95 SpD. I think it can take a hit or two, considering it does not need ATK or SpA.

I still find it unlikely you can pull such a thing off. It's like some other guy was talking about an unbeatable strategy claiming that after about 10 moves he can 100% win. Multiple people then reminded him that while he's pulling off these switcheroos he's being shot at by his opponent.

It may work in UU play, but you need to find a Pokemon with Skill Swap in UU and a Pokemon with No Guard in UU. Dewgong really shines in UU play, not at all in OU.

Blissy Skill Swaping for Slaking is a great combo. Slaking, if you don't count his ability, is insanely powerfull. He's like Regigas but better because he's not Uber.

 

I think I'm going to have a crack at making a doubles team. I don't know much about it but the people that play doubles say it's super awesome.

 

You know Jasa you could at least say sorry for spamming, you do it quite a lot and you get told not to 9 times out of 10 but you still do it and never say sorry:?

Lol, Regigigas is not Uber. He was moved from NU to UU, since they reset all the NU Pokemon. Maybe he could work in Skill Swapping or Stall teams, but he SUCKS.

 

Slaking, on the other hand, will work great with particularly any Skill Swapper. But Blissey getting Truant is not the best option.

 

And yes, I am leaving. But I have to settle things with Hioco and Snitch and Felix. So everyone should really stop pressuring me, I will leave when my work is done. GAWD.

Truant is the ability Slaking has, and you said Blissey works as a Skill Swapper with Slaking. So Blissey will get the Truant ability. The one where it says, "Slaking is loafing around!"

... I'm not paying attention I'm sorry. I think the ability swap goes away after a switch though doesn't it and any way in doubles Blissey wont survive too long any way. I was thinking Blissey because NC would also get rid of a status before its abili tyreverts back to Traunt.

In a double battle? I would not say "an electric" Pokemon. I would say an electric Pokemon with Volt Absorb or Motor Drive that can learn Follow Me.

 

Paried with Kyogre, that is a near impossible team. As the electric attacks go to Kyogre, the electric can "Follow Me" to increase speed or heal HP. Kyogre can Calm Mind and sweep.

I think it would be good if the electric Poke'mon had the Lightning Rod ability. Then it would be better.
