Queen-Dragoon
Not a good choice. I could tear through your first four with a Weavile. Since you chose Tyranitar I'm assuming you're building a Sandstorm team?
Felix
Tyranitar is bulky enough to take 1 Brick Break and KO with StoneEdge and Bronzong would have impunity. Everything else can be killed with Weavile easily so long as you win the speed tie with the other weavile. Also Tyranitar isn't always for SS teams. It's a good Poke with flexability, that's why you should always have a check. Team is bad though and you do have Weavile weakness, just not as extreme as Dragoon suggests. Queen-Dragoon
Only defensive builds of Tyranitar can take a Brick Break. As for Bronzong, I would have thought Night Slash would make a healthy dent.
Felix
Bronzong is a beast and it's only Nuetral damage cos of Steel/Psychic. Weavile can then easily be KOed with Gyro Ball or most other direct damage moves it might use.

Felix
It'd still kill it though.
Zexaeon
How many of you have built a proper defensive team? =O Because you don't see those very often (or at least I don't). Many of the teams I've faced are either all-out offensive, with little defense, or a moderate mix between the two. I've never really battled a team that was total defense/indirect damage. Zexaeon
Ah, maybe that's for the best. >_> This computer didn't save the team I built yesterday.
Felix
Plus I need to do stuff and it takes like 15 minutes to do a whole battle with them. I only get wins when people get pissed that all thier Pokes a Poisoned and every switch tears their guys to shreads. I never get wins when all their guys are dead. It's a pretty bad team so I'm gonna change it to make it better. It was a crappy Gravity Stall at first but now I'm going to do a makeover to make it solid stall. Zexaeon
My UU team is mostly Defensive (now that I've changed it), but it has a few Offensive options.
Felix
I always wanted to make a good pure stall team but I probably won't be good at it. Plus it's not so fun if you're loosing because it's always hard to counter something that's been set up, well. I prefer offensive but it's an exrecise to test my skill. Zexaeon
=P So far, I like trying out the Defensive field - it gives you a chance to be more creative than you can usually be with Offense. I do prefer Offense, mostly, but trying out these Defensive tricks is kinda fun.
TrickyPooBoy
I like locking your opponents an an uncomfortable position so I can PWN them with uber attacks like Close Combat.
Felix
^Not really workable in Meta, your opponent will just switch out. =P So far' date=' I like trying out the Defensive field - it gives you a chance to be more creative than you can usually be with Offense. TrickyPooBoy
If the opponent switches out, I'll have to sue them. XD
Felix
Switching and prediciton is a big part in competitive play, if you don't do it you won't stand a chance.
Queen-Dragoon
I have a couple of defensive players on my Sunny Day team but no, I haven't built a pure defence.
Zexaeon
Pretty much. =/ Leaving the same Pokemon in through the whole game (unless they are properly set up to sweep) is pretty....unprofessional. EDIT: xD I still love my Sunny Team. It's so funny to see how shocked people get when a Victreebel defeats them.
Felix
I have heard how easy it is to sweep with it in UU, it should be put in Borderline to stop it being so broken in UU.
Queen-Dragoon
I'd say Azumarill was more reliable. Aqua Jet FTW! (combined with Belly Drum hehehe)
Felix
Belly Drum and Aqua Jet are illegal on the same set. With good reason too. It's something to do with Versions. Getting one move on one game means you can't get the other.
