Zexaeon
Of course I can. It's called having unreasonably high expectations. And you people can't meet them, then you are worthless! Worthless I tell you! Aaaaanyway, since I don't even have an opponent, apparently, I'm going to use today to just raise some pokemon. So, if I DO end up getting a tourney opponent, send me a PM - if I don't respond to that, for whatever reason, have Larxene (she's in this club and is almost always online) send me a text message. Dark
Do you and Larxene know each other IRL? Or are you just a stalker? I beat an Ubers team with my latest OU team. Seriously, who puts Draco Meteor on an Adamant, ATK EVd Rayquaza? At least make it Naughty, or Mild. It was an EVd Uber team, not "good" EV, but OK. OK meaning like 216 ATK, 220 Speed, 56 SpD. Something random. Anyways, I really love this team, especially since 3 of the Pokes are UU.
Zexaeon
UU Pokemon are full of win, especially when you can build them up to be able to take down OU Pokemon. Froslass is obviously one of my favorites. And no, I don't know her IRL, but I might as well. We're like close friends. We have each other's phone numbers, RL names, Pictures, etc.

Dark
...do I really have to explain it? *yes* Damn. Tiers are... from Pokemon. No, seriously, ask Felix, I am in no mood to explain, soz. Which is applied first, Technician or STAB? If Technician is applied first, a 60 BP move would be 90 thru Tech. and 135 thru STAB. If STAB is applied first, a 60 BP move would be 90 thru STAB and Tech. would not be applied. So... which is it?
Felix
It doesn't make a difference due to the rules of multiplication.
Queen-Dragoon
I don't understand that... What is UU' date=' OU, etc...?[/quote'] There are four different tiers of battling. It basically means there are Pokemon that SHOULD be used, CAN'T be used and SHOULDN'T be used. The highest is Uber. This basically covers all the more powerful and versatile legendaries as well as some of the more focused regular Pokemon that are too powerful for the next tier down (Wobbuffet and Garchomp for example). The next tier is OU or the over-used Pokemon. This covers the more powerful and useful regulars such as Salamence, Blissey and Skarmory. Ubers are not allowed in this tier and it's a bad idea to use Pokemon from lower tiers unless you can make it work exceptionally well. The next tier is BL or Borderline Pokemon. These are Pokemon that don't fair well in the OU environment but are too strong to be used in UU. The only one that springs to mind is Houndoom with very high SAtk but not enough Def or Spd to make adequate use of it. The lowest is UU (under-used) where the majority of the weaker Pokemon are. I've never played with an under-used team so I can't give you much info. There are a few Pokemon such as Dunsparce that are NU (never used) for obvious reasons. Felix
NU doesn't exist anymore it's just a level of UU. Also, although power has a direct correlation between tiers, that's not what they're based on. Many UU Pokemon fair very well in OU but aren't used enough to be classed as OU. I'd quote but for some reason I can't. Why is it that YCM members lack the capabilities to hold a tournament. Every single one I've seen don't finish because people can't kepp to time scales. So long as I still have the dedicated Wi-Fi memebers near the end I don't care.

Felix
@Lawliet: Hoothoot, WTF? I figure you're planning on Noctowl and even though it's super cool it won't do well in an OU enviroment. Magnemite is only good for Scarf and isn't good at that so evolve it. Actually go on Smogon and read a whole bunch of competitive stuff.

Zexaeon
Lawliet, your team would be classed in UU, since none of those six are in the OU tier. Also, Dragoon, do NOT diss Dunsparce. xD Dunsparce is epic win. Trust me.
Queen-Dragoon
Also' date=' Dragoon, do NOT diss Dunsparce. xD Dunsparce is epic win. Trust me.[/quote'] I'm sure you could pull out a miracle with it.
Felix
Look Zexaeon, I'll jump up to defend a multitude of UU Pokemon but Dunsparce just plain sucks b@lls. The only possible use for it would be a target for SD Ninjask's Batton Pass and make a lol sweep, nothing else... at all.
Zexaeon
xD In theory, yes. If I can mess with his stats via Shoddy, definitely. I need to raise one in-game though. It's harder, because some of his stats need to be at specifically high IV levels in order to function properly, which, as I'm sure you know, is difficult to manage in the actual game without Pokesav.Lol, that last post was directed at Dragoon. Porygon2 kicks ass in OU, but no one votes it up and not many people use it, so its UU. So' date=' where would my team be classified? Felix
It's works depending on its BP not the power it becomes from other increases.

Felix
lol, if it's crystal Mag can't be evolved but just increase Hoothoot's level to evolve it.
Dark
It's works depending on its BP not the power it becomes from other increases. WRONG. I found it on Google. "STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) is applied to a moves Base Power before any other increases or decreases (Type Effectiveness, Technician, etc.)
Felix
You don't get it DARK, it doesn't matter which comes first it still ends up the same number because they all effect the overall number depending on the original BP.
Dark
No, Technician affects the newest changed BP. So if Aerial Ace got STAB, it would be 90. 90 is not considered under or equal to 60, so the base power STAYS at 90, not 135.
